A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Namine looked away, folding her arms over her chest after a few moments of silence. "I don't know what I was thinking, coming here," she said. "I thought seeing you would make things a little better, but I was mistaken." She always ran to him when she was in trouble, and that was what she did tonight, even if she was looking for a fight in some ways. She really just wanted him to make things alright again.

Roxas closed his eyes at that, feeling hurt impact his heart. But he opened his eyes and looked back at Namine, uncrossing his arms. "If one guy can't do enough for you, then run to the other," he said lowly. "Since he's so perfect."

Namine reacted before she could stop herself. But instead of speaking, she did something totally unexpected. She lifted her hand and slapped Roxas across the face. As soon as she had done it, though, her eyes were wide in surprise. I can't believe I just did that!

Roxas's head automatically turned at the impact of the slap, the boy instantly lifting a hand to his burning cheek. He looked back at Namine with eyes wide in disbelief and hurt. She just...hit him? He felt pain impact his heart, knowing things were really bad between them this time. She had never done that before.

Namine's wide eyes got softer with sorrow, her anger changing to hurt. "How dare you?" she whispered. She never ran off to another boy; Roxas was always the one for her. But maybe it was time to change that, like he said.

Roxas didn't say anything, rubbing his sore cheek. He kept his eyes lined with Namine's as he felt sorrow begin to make itself noted. How dare he? He wasn't the one that had feelings for somebody else... He wasn't the one ruining this relationship.

"I have always loved you. I never said anything harsh like that to you, even if I was right and you were wrong. I gave you ten million second chances because I thought that our relationship was worth it. But when I screw up, you suggest I run off to another person instead of trying to mend what we have," Namine started getting choked up by the end of what she had to say, really upset.

"...I'm not you," Roxas said quietly though his voice still held anger. "I haven't gotten feelings for some other girl." He lowered his hand from his red cheek, looking at Namine in disbelief. Don't pin this on me. This isn't my fault. "If you were in my place, you would react the same way, and you know it."

"Would I?" Namine challenged softly, though she did look down towards Roxas's chest in thought. She didn't believe she would; if she was in Roxas's position, she would have been more hurt than angry.

"You'll never know," Roxas said with a frown, his voice softer than what it was a few minutes ago. "Because I would never do that to you. I thought you would be the same way, but apparently you've proven me wrong."

"You think I meant for this to happen?!" Namine said, crying now. "It just sort of...happened!" She and Ben had a connection with their art, and their personalities, too. They were a better match than she and Roxas ever were.

Roxas lifted a hand to cover his face, shielding his eyes as he closed them. Namine just proved it, completely now. She and Ben had feelings for each other. "...I trusted you," he said weakly. "And you go and do this..." He lowered his hand and opened his eyes, looking at her as they twinkled with unshed tears. "How could you do this to me? To us?"

"I didn't purposely do anything!" Namine said in her defense. "If anything, I tried saving our relationship from this. Those phone calls were for more than just support with camp, Roxas! I needed to know if our relationship was okay, and you proved to me that it wasn't."

"For the last time!" Roxas roared, his emotions getting the best of him. "This is not my fault! It's you! You did this! You ruined everything!" His hands were balled into fists by his sides as he glared at Namine, his sight blurring at the tears that wanted to fall from his eyes.

This time, Namine was intimidated by his anger. She took a small step back, feeling a bit of fear because of his rage. But she wouldn't completely back down, not yet. "If that's true," she said softly, tears hovering in her eyes, "then there's one more thing I have to do."

Roxas kept his hurt and angered eyes on Namine, his throat and eyes burning due to how much he just wanted to cry. Instead, he locked his jaw, waiting for what it was Namine had to say.

"...It's over," Namine said, turning and starting to walk away. Since she already ruined everything else, she was the one who had to destroy their relationship, too. Officially.

Roxas squeezed his eyes shut, holding back a sob as he stayed locked in place. No...no...he thought in sorrow. The one person he loved, ever, ruined everything and destroyed their relationship. This wasn't fair! Roxas turned around and punched the side of the house, a loud sound coming from the action. He didn't recognize the pain at first, too mad to do anything else.

Namine jumped at the loud bang, but she didn't turn around. She started walking faster until she was running, away from the person that she loved as the tears freely started flowing again.

Roxas leaned an arm against the wall he just punched, resting his head on his forearm as he felt the tears leave him. A sob left him as all the hurt and anger he kept inside overflowed, spilling out of him. Namine...How could you do this?

Namine ran until she was at the beach, where she ran out of energy and collapsed. She fell down onto her knees in the sand, a sob leaving her lips. And I thought camp was the nightmare...Coming home was the real nightmare. Roxas...

Roxas released sobs as he stood on the front porch, his back to the street as he faced the wall. He didn't notice the blood falling from his knuckles, the injury from him punching the wall so hard. He didn't care, too shattered by Namine's betrayal.

The next day

 

Kairi arranged for the whole group to get together to welcome Namine home. She felt it was necessary, after hearing about all the horrors of Art Camp and seeing Namine's hair. But Namine wasn't going to her friends with blue hair. She had a hair appointment that morning, and in order to cover the blue, she had to go with a darker color. So, the brunette was leaving the appointment now and heading towards the beach, where her friends were probably having fun already.

Roxas stared out at the island, the water rushing up by his feet and getting his shoes wet. He didn't care, though. He didn't really care about anything anymore. He didn't pay attention to his hand, which Sora had casted a spell on to heal it. It didn't matter, though; it was still swollen and painful, so he covered his knuckles in wrap so he wouldn't hurt them anymore. But who cared? He was hurt worse than he could have ever been before.

Namine shyly had her hands behind her back, her gaze down as she started walking on sand. Only Kairi knew about everything, including the hair appointment. It did look good, but it wasn't her normal blonde hair, that was for sure. But maybe that wasn't such a bad thing. She heard Sora's laughter up ahead, and she knew that her friends weren't too far away.
