Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Kairi couldn't help but smile at Sora's chuckles, finding them to be music to her ears. But she couldn't be completely happy. Namine was hurt, and that in turn caused her pain. She hoped the hair appointment went well, since that could be the only thing.

Terra laughed softly, but then his gaze went up past the teens to another girl walking over to them. He knew her, but that wasn't the hair that he was used to seeing her with. Namine?
Riku caught Terra looking behind him, and at his expression, he looked over his shoulder as well. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. He knew that posture and that small frame, but the hair was throwing him off. Was that...Namine?

Namine felt a few gazes on her, and so she finally lifted her head and looked up at the group. Of course Riku and Terra would be the first to notice her; they always were the most observative. She stopped by the group and waved shyly, forcing a weak smile.

Kairi saw Namine as soon as she waved, and she smiled. "Oh, it looks great!" she said cheerfully. She wasn't sure how her best friend would look with darker hair, but it looked good.

Roxas glanced back out of the corner of his eye, but he didn't turn around. He didn't know what was going on, but he didn't care. But once he found out it was Namine, he would want to leave. Immediately.

Sora blinked in surprise, having not expected Namine to come back to them as a brunette. He glanced over at Kairi before he looked back to Namine, seeing her shy smile. It was a different color, but it didn't look bad at all.

"Namine..." Aqua said, approaching the girl and looking her over. "You look lovely." She hadn't expected Namine to return home with new hair, but she still looked wonderful. It was such a big change, but Aqua hoped she liked it.

Roxas blinked at the name, and he instantly furrowed his eyebrows. He wasn't staying when she was around. He balled his hands into fists, wincing slightly at the pain in his right one. Regardless, he started away from the group, walking alongside the water so he could go somewhere else.

"Thanks," Namine said softly, a weak smile still on her lips. She wasn't sure if she believed it or not, since she wasn't sure if she liked it. But she didn't have much of a choice; it was either this, black, or blue. She would choose brunette over those other two colors any day.

Sora quietly dismissed himself from the group, going away probably before anybody even noticed him. He saw Roxas start walking away, and he was going to stop him. He walked fast to catch up to him, and when he did, he set a hand on his shoulder. "Wait."

Roxas stopped walking, turning his head to see that it was Sora that stopped him. He didn't say anything, his hard expression seeming to say it all. What?

"You guys can at least act civil with each other," Sora said, careful that his voice wouldn't carry to the group a little ways away. "I know what happened, but you guys still have the same group of friends. You guys can get along again someday, but you can't walk away now."
Roxas's cold eyes left Sora and glanced back at the group, particularly focusing on the new brunette. "I don't think so," he said, looking back to Sora. He wasn't willing. After what she did, he didn't want anything to do with her.

"She's probably just as confused as you are," Sora said, keeping his hand on Roxas's shoulder. "Think about it. Things can change, but only if you don't avoid her." Things could be set right if they both worked at it.
"Confused?" Roxas said, giving Sora a look. "Are you kidding? She broke my heart and you want me to be civil?" That was out of the question. He wanted to be as far away from Namine as possible.

Sora glanced back at the group, lowering his voice a little in caution. "From what Kairi told me, Namine's heart was already broken when she came back from camp," he said. "I don't know the specifics, but yes, Roxas, I think she's confused. Her first experience away from you for a long time was a total failure. She doesn't know how to react."
Roxas stepped over, getting Sora's hand off his shoulder. "You've got to be kidding," he spat. "You want me to feel sorry for her? Forget it!" That wasn't happening. Just because she had a bad experience at camp didn't mean he couldn't feel pain himself.

"What I want is for you to cut her some slack," Sora said, hand lowering back to his side. "And give her a chance to fully explain herself. Maybe even redeem herself. She feels really guilty."
"She should," Roxas said, his hard eyes finding Namine again. "She broke what little of a heart I have as a Nobody. And now that's all I am. No emotions, no heart, nothing. Thanks to her." He was nothing once again. She shattered everything.
  • Author
"I don't believe that," Sora said calmly. "If you really had no heart or emotions, you would have walked away already. You still care, whether you admit it or not." He knew Roxas, and he could see the emotion in his eyes. He still loved Namine, even if she did break his heart.
"You're right, I do care," Roxas admitted, looking back to Sora. "About her dealing with all of the guilt and regret. She deserves it after what she did to somebody that loved her." He glared at Namine once more before he started in the direction he had originally been walking.
  • Author
Sora grunted, walking forward a few steps and setting a hand on Roxas's shoulder again to stop him. "You mean what she did to somebody that loves her," he said. "Because you still love her."
Roxas ground his teeth together and turned, using his good hand to shove Sora away from him. He was going to speak as well, but he just needed to find the strength not to scream.
  • Author
Sora let Roxas shove him away, and he did lift his hands to show that he didn't want a fight. "The people you love are the ones who can hurt you the most," he said, slowly lowering his hands. "But they're also the only ones who can heal the wounds." Namine and Roxas would make up, someday.
"Whoever told you that was lying," Roxas spat, not caring if Kairi could see what was happening from her spot next to Namine. "I love Namine, and always will, but she obviously doesn't love me enough not to betray my trust. So...Ben can have her. She's obviously willing to give us up to be with Mr. Right."
  • Author
"Are you listening to yourself?" Sora said, tilting his head a little in disbelief. "You've always fought for each other in the past. And now you're just giving up?"
Roxas smiled grimly. "Betrayal does crazy things to a person," he said lowly, though his smile immediately faded away. Lies, deception, the like. It was all darkness, and Roxas lost his light.
