Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"And so does love," Sora said in return. "No matter how strong the betrayal, at the end of the day, love conquers everything. Don't forget that." Sora would know, since he had a rough period with Kairi a while ago. He never stopped loving her, even when she dumped him and broke his heart.
Roxas ran his hands through his hair in frustration. "Ugh, don't you get it?!" he hollered, not caring about how Sora kept his voice down so nobody would know what was going on. He looked at Sora but motioned to the "brunette" with the group. "If she loved me she wouldn't have done this! Get it through your head that love is nothing like you say it is!" He jabbed a finger at Sora's chest with the words, then continuing. "It's vulnerability. It's when you open your heart to someone only to have them crush it. At the end of the day, you're still broken."

Namine finally looked over when she heard the holler, her wide eyes catching onto Roxas as he talked about her and jabbed his finger at Sora. "I should just go," she whispered. She didn't belong here; Roxas deserved these friends after what she did, while she deserved nothing but heartache.

"At the end of today, maybe," Sora agreed, ignoring some of the gazes he felt coming from the group now. "But think about how many times you've both been broken. And you've helped each other recover. Why does this time have to be so different?"

Kairi turned and put her hand on Namine's shoulder. "No...stay," she pleaded softly. "We've missed you." Roxas looked like he was leaving anyway.

"You know exactly why it's different," Roxas snapped, glaring at Sora as his eyes began to burn. "Don't make me say it..." Please, he thought silently. He didn't want to be here, near her. Why would he want to be?

Namine shook her head, wordlessly turning around and starting to walk the opposite direction of Roxas and Sora. She wondered if anyone would try to stop her like Sora did with Roxas, but she doubted it. She was a traitor.

"Because this time, you're the one who has to offer forgiveness," Sora responded. It wasn't the answer he was looking for, but it was the truth. "And you think she doesn't deserve it, doesn't want it...whatever. But you know as well as I do that someday, you'll come to forgive her for what she did to you. Because you love her."

"So in the end it's my fault?" Roxas hollered with anger, his eyes watering. "Just like every other time? Namine's never in the wrong, is she? She fell in love with some other guy and I'm not the victim?!" He looked to the others, seeing Kairi go after Namine. "Is that what you all think?! Is that right?"

"This isn't about placing the blame!" Sora said in response, speaking more loudly when Roxas did the same with him. "This is about realizing what's really important and forgetting about who's right and who's wrong. It's about setting things right!"

"That's so stupid!" Roxas cried, his view of Sora's face blurring as his hands balled into tighter fists. He didn't believe that at all. Even if Sora was right, and Roxas truly believed he wasn't, there was nothing he could do to set things right. "We're done! Over! Get it through your head!"

"Namine, wait," Kairi begged over the boys' shouts, putting a hand on Namine's arm and coming to a stop in front of her. "Don't go. You don't have to."

Sora stayed silent for a few moments, just looking at Roxas. "I will," he said calmly. "As soon as you really believe that's true instead of lying to yourself." Roxas was hurt and really upset, but surely he didn't believe it was really over. Sora didn't believe he'd give up on the girl he loved so easily.

"Yes I do," Namine said, her eyes moist as she lifted a hand and removed Kairi's off her arm. She stepped over and started forward again, ready to burst into tears.

"I'm not lying," Roxas said lowly, his voice getting thick due to his sorrow. "The proof is right in front of me." Namine was that proof. He loved her, so much, and always would. But she had feelings for Ben. As long as she had feelings for somebody else, he couldn't be with her. This would be the result.

Kairi frowned and shook her head. "No," she said firmly, grabbing onto Namine's wrist. She wouldn't let her leave.

"How's that?" Sora asked, confused. He figured that proof was Namine, but how was she proof that Roxas wasn't lying about believing their relationship was over?

"Kairi, please," Namine begged, her eyes growing more moist behind her brunette bangs as she looked over at the girl who was keeping her here. She didn't want to be here.

Roxas lowered his head, clamping his jaw shut. If Sora really had to ask, then it was no use. "Just...leave me alone," he said quietly, a tear hovering on the corner of his eye as he started walking away again. "You don't understand."

"Namine..." Kairi said sadly, seeing her friend and how sad she was. This was so awful. She wished things hadn't turned bad between Namine and Roxas. They needed each other...didn't they?

Sora wouldn't leave him alone. He couldn't forsake the person who was like a brother to him. Again, he stepped forward and set a hand on Roxas's shoulder. "Then make me understand," he said softly.

Namine lifted her free hand and pried Kairi's hand away from her wrist before she started walking again, away from her friends. She probably wasn't welcome in the group anyway after what she did.

Roxas closed his eyes, a tear trickling down his cheek as he shook his head. Sora's hand on his shoulder may have stopped him from walking, but that didn't mean he could stop being upset. He would be, for a long time.

Kairi bit her bottom lip, not knowing what to do. She wished there was something she could say that could make Namine stay, but it seemed that it wouldn't matter.

Sora kept his hand on Roxas's shoulder, his gaze also staying on his best friend. He saw that tear, and he didn't know what to say. He almost wondered if Roxas needed a hug, but he wouldn't do that right away.

Namine lifted a hand and wiped at a tear that escaped her eye, still walking away. She didn't need words right now. She just wanted a hug. But she wouldn't ask for that, since she didn't deserve it. She was a terrible, terrible person.

Roxas didn't want to cry, not in front of everyone. But Sora caught him in the act last night, so he guessed it didn't matter. He didn't say anything, not knowing how to make Sora understand. If he said anything, then Sora would just tell him something he didn't want to believe in. He was all out of hope.

Sora glanced back at the group, seeing a few people looking over in their direction. He looked back to Roxas, clapping him on the shoulder. "Let's walk," he said, starting forward. He felt like he finally thought of something that would get Roxas to open up to him, because it proved that Sora knew how he felt.
Roxas nodded, opening his eyes to see water rush around his shoes. He started moving with Sora's lead, having wanted to get away from here for a while now.

The dock was up ahead, but they wouldn't go out to the island. They'd just sit at the dock and talk there, since it was a pretty private place. Until that point, though, the walk between Sora and Roxas was silent. When they got to the dock, Sora sat down, motioning for Roxas to do the same.
Roxas sat down beside Sora in silence, not looking at him. He didn't want him to see his eyes, since they showed his vulnerability and were still watery. Instead, he looked out at the island, waiting for something to happen.

"You think I don't understand what it's like to be in your position," Sora said, looking out at the island as he spoke. "You think I don't know what it's like to have the girl you love break your heart and then run into the arms of somebody else. Right?"
Roxas nodded, not saying anything. He couldn't really find his voice anyway. He swallowed back the lump in his throat, waiting for Sora to continue.

Sora caught the nod, and he shifted his gaze to the sky as he spoke. "It's been a while since I even though this name," he said. He couldn't believe how long it had been. "But I'm sure you remember the person who Kairi ran to when I wasn't there." He furrowed his eyebrows, looking back out towards the island. "Nathaniel."
Roxas's eyebrows furrowed at the familiar name, and he lowered his eyes to the water. "Oh..." he said softly. He forgot all about him...

Sora nodded, again looking to the sky. "Four months away from home, and I returned to find him with her," he said. "I trusted her to be faithful and she wasn't." He looked over to Roxas, then, eyes on him. "Now do you wanna try telling me that I don't understand?"
