Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I would be the same way if I were in your position," Sora confessed, looking to the sky. "But because you love her, you find the strength to be her friend. Trust me. I know." He didn't know exactly how it worked, but it was possible.
"Not me..." Roxas said, shaking his head as his fingers rested in his hair. "After what was said last night, there's no way we can be friends." He said awful things and Namine said awful things. Namine even hit him across the face. That hurt in more ways than one.

"You don't know until you try," Sora said, not bothering to glance over at Roxas. He knew that he was right, even if Roxas was trying to be pessimistic about everything. They both knew Sora was right about this.
Roxas didn't say anything, only staring off into space. How could he be friends with Namine? He yelled at her and screamed in her face, told her she ruined everything by falling for Ben. She hit him and told him it was over. How could they bounce back from that?

Sora gazed up at the sky, swinging his legs a little. "The next few days are going to define what's going to happen," he said, knowing that this was the truth. "I'm sure she won't approach you because, like you said, this is her fault." That was how both of them seemed to view it, and so Namine would feel so guilty she would avoid Roxas. She was predictable that way.
"So I'm gonna have to do it then," Roxas said, mentally groaning at the idea. What could he say to her if things came to that? Nothing. He couldn't think of a thing. He couldn't say he overreacted, because he didn't. And he wouldn't say he was sorry.

"You are," Sora agreed, glad to hear by Roxas's phrasing that he seemed to be planning on doing it. That was a good start, considering he had been willing to walk away from everything a while ago when Namine showed up at the group.
"Do you know how ugly that's going to be? And how stupid I'm going to feel?" Roxas said, looking over at Sora, his elbows on his knees as he leaned forward a little. He would feel like an idiot!

"I can imagine," Sora said with a shrug, looking at the island. "But ask yourself this: is your relationship with Namine something worth pursuing?" He shifted his gaze to his best friend, continuing. "Is it worth an ugly confrontation or feeling like an idiot for a little while?" Yes, it was worth that.
Roxas frowned, looking away. He knew he loved Namine, but if he became friends with her again, then he would only get hurt upon seeing her with somebody else. "Sora...if you love someone, you have to let them go," he said. "Right?" Maybe that was what he had to do.

"I guess it depends on the situation," Sora said in thought, looking down. "If you think she's better off with somebody else or living without you as her guardian angel, then you have to let go of your desires to be in a relationship with her. But you don't let go of your friendship."
Roxas sighed, closing his eyes as he held his head. He just wished this didn't happen. Was Namine stressing out like this? Or was she doing just fine? With Ben?

Sora finally was silent, not thinking of anything else to say. He told Roxas as much as he could to help him through this while listening too, but the rest was up to Roxas. Would he take this wisdom or ignore it?
What did it matter to him? Roxas wasn't with her anymore, and as far as he knew, they weren't friends. He had no reason to be in her business, and the same went with her. They were separated.
  • Author
I hope you make the right decision, man, Sora silently thought, having a feeling this discussion was over. He said everything he could to help Roxas out, unless his friend had more questions. If not, then the silence was alright for a little while. Roxas needed to think this over.
Kairi went home, thinking that was the only place Namine could have gone after disappearing from the beach. She stepped inside, shutting the front door behind her. "Namine?" she called throughout the home, knowing the mayor was out. Kairi hoped she was here...
  • Author
Namine heard the call, but she didn't respond to it. She sat on her bed with her arms wrapped around her legs, her face buried in her knees. Unlike last night, she realized her place in this situation. Everything was her fault.
Kairi bit her lip, listening for anything. She knew the T.V. wasn't on, so maybe Namine was upstairs? It was worth a shot. The girl approached the stairs and ascended them in silence, hearing nothing throughout the home. "Namine, are you here?"
  • Author
Yes, I'm here, Namine thought. But she wished that Kairi wasn't; she wasn't exactly in a state where she wanted to see anyone right now. And Kairi should have been with her friends. Namine couldn't consider them her friends any longer because surely they all were mad at her for breaking up with Roxas.
Kairi walked down the hall and put a hand on Namine's doorframe as she peeked inside. She saw her best friend and her posture and she felt her eyes soften. "Namine..." she said softly, worry in her voice.
  • Author
"I'm fine," Namine lied into her knees, though her voice was clear enough for Kairi to understand. "You should go back to everyone else." It was where she belonged, and Namine deserved to be alone, anyway.
"Everyone's already gone home," Kairi said, tilting her head. "And you can't possibly be alright...not after that." Roxas's outbursts obviously hurt Namine's feelings on top of everything else. She couldn't be okay.
  • Author
"I deserve it," Namine said into her knees. She wasn't really alright, but she didn't deserve to be happy or okay after everything. It was her fault this was happening.
Kairi bit her bottom lip in hesitance, not knowing what to say to that. She started forward in silence and approached Namine's bed, sitting herself down beside the brunette. "What happened?" she asked softly, referring to the night before.
  • Author
"I broke his heart," Namine said, not lifting her head out of her knees. She broke it in more ways that one; she loved another boy, and she flipped out at Roxas. She blamed him when it was really all her fault.
