Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"But I deserve to suffer alone!" Namine said. She caused so much heartache, even if she hadn't been trying. She felt terrible for all of this, and that guilt was something she could never escape.
Kairi set her hands in her lap, turning more to face Namine. "Tell me something," she started calmly, despite Namine's outbursts. "Did you mean for this to happen? Any of it with Ben and Roxas?"
  • Author
"No," Namine said softly. Of course she didn't mean for it to happen. But that didn't change how it unfolded and how she was responsible, so she didn't know where Kairi was going with this.
"Then you don't deserve to suffer alone," Kairi said. If Namine did this on purpose, the redhead would have a reason not to support her throughout this whole ordeal. But since it was simply a mistake, Namine didn't deserve as much suffering as she thought she did.

"Yes I do, Kairi," Namine said, looking towards the ground. "Whether I meant for this to happen or not, it happened. And I deserve to feel the consequences of this." It was just and fair.
"But not alone," Kairi said, putting a hand on her best friend's shoulder. Namine may have been at fault here, but she was heartbroken as well. Kairi wouldn't allow her to trudge through this by herself. "If you need me, I'm here."

Namine only nodded faintly. She realized that she was being stubborn, and so was Kairi. It was a way that they were alike. And Namine didn't feel like arguing anymore, so Kairi won this around.
Kairi squeezed Namine's shoulder in a sisterly way, smiling weakly at her best friend. She wasn't sure how things would go from here, but Namine and Roxas were going to be okay. They had to be.

A few days later

After a few days, nothing was getting better. Roxas didn't run away from the group when Namine was there, but she tried avoiding the group anyway because she felt so bad about the tension she caused. She spent some time with Ben and his friends, but today, she was alone. And she had a goal that nobody else knew about--she was going to go to a place where she found peace. Roxas used to call it "their place", and Namine wanted to go there. But it was on the top of a mountain, so she had to climb. So far, the climb wasn't bad. It was hard, but she could do it. There was no backing down now that she was already sort of high up.

Roxas sat on his bed and strummed his guitar, in the middle of creating his own song once more. And of course, it was about her--Namine. The last few days had been tense, at least for him, especially when she was around. But he didn't run away like he had before, though it was hard to see her. He missed her, even if she did hurt him. That was another problem too; he found himself losing himself to his emotions a lot at night. It got really bad the other day when he went to the meadow, seeing the fireflies once more but being alone, without her. It was awful, but Roxas couldn't do anything about it. It was over.

Namine reached for another rock, climbing up a little higher. In the back of her mind, she knew this was a stupid idea, but she didn't care. She had to see this place. It was daytime and the fireflies weren't out, but still, this place was important to her. She glanced back down at the ground where she started, her eyes widening when she saw how high up she was. She felt a little panicked, her fear of heights setting in. Don't freak out, she told herself, though her legs started shaking. Don't freak out!!
Roxas wrote down on a notebook sitting next to him, eyebrows furrowed as he concentrated. Namine was the inspiration for a majority of his songs, but this was the only one that had to do with his jealousy. Some other guy had her, and she was probably in his arms right now telling him how much of an idiot Roxas was in their relationship. It wouldn't surprise him, since he had a lot of faults in the past.

Namine knew she'd just have to keep climbing. She couldn't go back down this way. Oh, she was so stupid for doing this! She lifted her hand and reached for another rock to grab onto, but she slipped. A gasp left her lips as she tried to grip the wall, but it was too late. She screamed, falling down towards the beach at the bottom of the cliff.
But this one... The end of them was her fault. Namine was the one to blame. Yet Roxas continued with his song, strumming away. He couldn't help it. His heart was controlling him now, making him cry whenever it got too sad, or get passionate about music whenever it was that time. His heart was on his sleeve, but Namine didn't care. He didn't expect her to, since she was with Ben now.

Namine impacted the sand hard, swearing that she heard a crack when she landed. Again, she cried out on pain, feeling as if her arm was broken. Maybe even more than that. She was lucky she didn't hit the wall on the way down, and she was even luckier to land in the sand. She could have died. But she still could die, since nobody knew where she was. She whimpered in agony, not moving on the ground. What was she going to do?!
I won't sit around; I can't let him win now, Roxas wrote down after he figured out the chords, labeling the notes as well that way he would remember. But he never forgot any of his songs, especially the ones he wrote for Namine. The one on piano, or the one he sang to her outside her window in the freezing cold. The boy stopped, loosening his hold on his guitar as he rubbed his face with his hand. He had to stop thinking about her. It hurt too much.

Namine had a phone! It was in her pocket! The question was, was it broken from the fall? She turned a little onto her side but cried out shortly when she was on her broken arm, using her other hand to dig into her pocket. She pulled out the phone and pressed a button on the phone, a sound of relief leaving her when she saw the phone light up. It still worked! She just had to speed dial the right number...She pushed a button without thought, lifting the phone to her ear as she called her ex boyfriend.
Roxas lowered his hand from his face when he heard his phone go off, and he looked over at it as it rested on the bed beside him. He reached for it, picking it up and reading the name. His eyes widened. Namine?! What could she want? Roxas bit his lip and forced himself to flip the phone open, bringing it to his ear. "...Hello?" he said with uncertainty, not sure what to expect from this call.

Namine's eyes widened at the voice, having not meant to call Roxas. But he was her first speed dial, which she pressed without thinking about, so she would ask him for help anyway. "Roxas, please don't hang up," she said, surprised he even answered the phone in the first place. She pursed her lips together, holding back a sound of pain.
"...'Kay," Roxas said, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. "What is it?" He wasn't sure he really wanted to talk to Namine. Even if it hurt, he was starting to get used to the silence.

"I know you have no reason to help me, but I hurt myself really badly," Namine said, pulling the phone away from her face a little bit when she had to whimper. "And you're the only person who would know where I am." She squeezed her eyes shut after looking down at her legs. One of them were broken too, weren't they?
"What?" Roxas said without thought, really confused now. What was Namine saying? "What're you talking about?" He refrained from calling her Nam, like he normally would right now. Regardless of that, he heard the tone of her voice, and she didn't sound alright.

"I was climbing on the other side of the island," Namine said, squeezing her phone at the pain. "I fell. Please...even if you don't want to help me, at least send somebody else." She couldn't move.
Roxas stiffened at that, his muscles tensing. "...The meadow," he said without thought into the phone. "You're by the meadow?" He lifted his guitar off of him, knowing that he would help. It would take too long to send someone else.

"Yeah," Namine said, voice tight with pain. "At the bottom of the cliff by it, on the beach." She had to pull the phone away from her face again, whimpering in pain. How was she even conscious with how terrible it was?
