Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas lifted a hand to the back of his head awkwardly, not knowing how to respond. "Namine..." he said, trailing off. He wasn't sure he wanted to hear this, but would she listen? Probably not; she was stubborn like that.

Namine looked back up at Roxas through moist eyes, only stopping because he said her name. She had so much more to apologize for than that, but first, she'd hear what he had to say.
"Just...don't, okay?" Roxas said, looking away as he rubbed the back of his head. They were done. He was starting to accept it. He didn't want Namine saying something that would make it worse.

Namine turned and looked away, letting her hair hide her face again. She shut her eyes when the moisture got so strong that everything was blurry, the girl really close to crying. "I just needed to let you know you were right," she said softly. "And I promise that I'll pay for what I did to you."
"Namine," Roxas said again, but he had a feeling she wouldn't listen. She didn't have to pay for it. Maybe it was better this way.

"I know," Namine said softly, not moving. "I'll shut up." She didn't deserve to let Roxas know how badly she felt; she would let her sorrow overtake her. Maybe eventually, she would feel no emotions and be a true Nobody.
Roxas sighed and lowered his hand from his head, looking down to the ground. This wasn't going well, was it? Not that he expected it to. Everything was going downhill these days.

Namine heard his sigh, and that only made her feel worse. She just couldn't catch a break these days, could she? She was hurting him worse than she already had! "Sorry," she said weakly, feeling as if she did something wrong.
"Stop it," Roxas said, lifting his eyes from the ground to gaze sadly at Namine. He didn't want to do this here, feeling his emotions starting to get the best of him again. Being this close to Namine was enough to cause that, but the fact that she was bringing this up... He couldn't handle it. "Just...stop. Please."

Namine bit down on her lip, swallowing to keep the tears back. Hadn't she done enough crying already? She didn't have the right to cry anyway. Or the right to exist. She was a Nobody, after all. A Nobody who never should have existed so she never would have caused Roxas pain.
Roxas lowered his head and turned around, sitting down on the sand and facing the ocean now. He lifted his knees up and wrapped his arms around them, lowering his chin to just inside his arms. He didn't know what to say, or do. Again.

Namine looked over at Roxas, seeing his back to her. She felt more tears, knowing that what Roxas said the other day was completely true. "I ruin everything," she said, pushing herself up to stand. But the moment she did, her injured leg gave out on her. Her eyes widened in shock as she fell down to her hands and knees, catching herself before her face would have gone into the sand.
Roxas turned his head a little, though he didn't let go of his legs. "You're going to ruin your leg again if you don't relax for a while," he said, his eyes on her. "If it helps, pretend I'm not here." He couldn't help but add that bit, something that just slipped.

Namine looked over at Roxas, her gaze turning sad. But she wanted him there...She wanted things to be alright with him again. She still loved him. But she wouldn't confess that aloud; she didn't have the right to love him after what she did. She pushed herself back and carefully changed her position so she was sitting on her bottom, legs stretched out in front of her.
Roxas tore his eyes from Namine's the moment he recognized sorrow, lowering his chin to his arms over his knees again. He didn't say anything more, just staring down at the ground in silence. This was uncomfortable, at least to him.

"It deserves to be ruined," Namine murmured softly of her leg. Her whole being deserved to be ruined because of the heartache she caused to Roxas. She felt the sorrow from her actions and embraced it instead of rejecting it, feeling as if justice was being served.
Roxas closed his eyes, exhaling a soft breath. Stop it, Namine, he wanted to say, but he couldn't find his voice. She really was suffering, wasn't she? Sora pointed that out to him, right? Probably. Sora was good at that kind of thing.

Namine noticed her phone still sitting in the sand next to her, so she reached for it and stuffed it into her pocket. Things definitely weren't alright with her and Roxas, but what had she expected. She was stupid to think her apology would make things even a little better.
"Namine," Roxas said after a few minutes, opening his eyes. He hated what he was about to say, but it was the truth. He felt his emotions making his eyes sting, but she had to know.

Namine looked over at Roxas, though she couldn't see his face from where she was sitting. She hummed faintly to say that she was listening, wondering what he had to say to her.
Roxas closed his eyes when he felt the tears coming. "...It's too late to apologize," he said softly. Namine couldn't waste her breath anymore. They were done, over. They couldn't take any of it back.

Namine immediately looked away from Roxas, bowing her head and letting her hair shield her face. It was too late...She couldn't set things right, even a few days after their breakup. If that was the case, then she had no hope left at all, for life in general.
We're done, Roxas thought, remembering what Namine said to him that night. "It's over." She was right about that. It definitely was. Apologies wouldn't do much good anymore.

Namine couldn't help but shed a few tears now, though she made sure that she did it silently. She told herself a million times she didn't have the right to cry, and she tried sticking to that. But what Roxas said...it killed her inside.
Roxas opened his eyes at a light breeze, looking down at a seashell barely visible in the sand in front of him. His eyes watered with unshed tears, the boy glad Namine couldn't see his face. He wouldn't want her to see him this way.
