A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"I suppose it's too late for forgiveness, too," Namine guessed, her eyes shut as another tear fell down into her lap. That was alright...she hadn't apologized looking for forgiveness.

That did it for Roxas. The boy squeezed his eyes shut, a sob leaving him at that. Namine pulled at his heartstrings without even realizing it, and it hurt. So bad. Tears fell from his eyes, falling onto the skin of his arms. Forgiveness... He didn't even know where it was in this whole thing.

Namine felt her heart breaking at Roxas's sobs, and she would have pulled up her legs if one of them wasn't injured. She cried softly, though she did force herself to speak. "If it helps, I never expected forgiveness," she said. "Not from you...not from myself." She'd never forgive herself for breaking his heart.

Roxas sniffled, shaking his head. "That doesn't help at all," he said, his voice trembling. Why did she have to go and do this? Why did Ben have to sweep her off her feet in that stupid museum?!

Namine kept her head down, a soft sob leaving her lips. What did he want from her?! She was supposed to suffer from the guilt of doing what she did, and he was acting like he didn't want that. That was stupid.

Roxas stifled a sob, clamping his jaw shut. He couldn't do this! He couldn't sit here and cry in front of her, and he couldn't listen to her do it. He had to leave... He had to go somewhere, other than here. But his heart told him no, and to stay. To not leave Namine here alone.

Namine lifted her hands to her face, trying to hush her sobbing. She had no right. That was what she kept telling herself. ...Why couldn't she have died when she fell off that cliff? That thought shocked her, making her literally gasp in surprise. She wasn't suicidal.

Roxas ran his arm over his eyes, wiping away his tears. He figured out something right then, and he spoke it. "I'm not the only one with a broken heart...am I?" he asked, staring down at the ground, not looking at Namine as her sobs came to him.

Namine hummed, that coming across as "no". She was so torn up over all that she did, and suffering for her mistakes. She deserved it, but Roxas didn't deserve a broken heart. All he did was ignore her phone calls.

Roxas sniffled again, forcing his crying to stop. "Didn't think so," he admitted quietly, knowing what that hum meant. Namine was hurting too, but was it his fault?

Namine wiped at her tears before lowering her hands to her lap, her hurt arm aching from being used. "It doesn't matter how I feel," she said softly, voice shaking a little. She deserved the pain.

"Yes it does," Roxas said, turning his head to look back at her for the first time in a few minutes. "It always matters." He loved her, and always would. That was why her feelings mattered.

Namine shook her head, not realizing that Roxas was looking at her as she looked down at her lap. It only mattered now if she paid for what she did. It was fair.

"Yes," Roxas said firmly, seeing Namine shake her head. Even if he felt that she needed to suffer a few days ago, witnessing her do just that made him want to make her stop. It was too painful, to see the girl he loved cry and suffer, even if it might have been fair.

Namine bit down on her lip, realizing then that Roxas was watching her. She didn't move or lift her head, still disagreeing. How could he even say that after what she did to him? How could he even stand being with her, touching her hair and being gentle with her after she broke his heart?

Roxas shook his head slightly in disbelief. "Don't you get it, Namine?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows. "I love you. Even if it feels like you've ripped my heart out and stomped all over it, it still beats for you. It always will." How couldn't she see that? That was why he came running. He still cared.

Namine lifted her head, sucking in a breath in surprise. She looked over and found his eyes, not knowing what to say. He shouldn't have loved her; she was a terrible person.

Roxas met Namine's watery eyes with his own in the same state, just looking at her. Even with the new look, she was still his Namine. She always would be his, at least in his heart, even if she ended up with somebody else.

"...I shouldn't receive your love," Namine whispered, looking away. "Surely there's somebody else who deserves it more than I do." She was stupid and selfish, breaking his heart and falling in love with somebody else. He shouldn't have loved her.

Roxas's eyes softened a little, but he didn't agree with that. "...Guardian angels never abandon the one they're destined to protect," he said softly, his gaze still locked on her. He always had been her protector, and he doubted Ben was going to take that role from him. He could take place of a lover, but not a protector.

Namine looked up at Roxas again, another soft gasp leaving her lips. Her eyes grew in moisture and she lifted her hands to hide her face, eyes shut as some tears escaped. He still was her guardian angel...

"But...I guess they can't keep you from crying," Roxas added quietly, turning his head to look down at the shell in front of him again. He never was any good at that. He always made her cry, didn't he?

"You're supposed to make me cry after what I did to you," Namine said, lifting her face out of her hands and looking to him. "How can you even consider being my guardian angel after I betrayed you?"

"...Blame it on love," Roxas said softly, not looking over at Namine. He loved her too much to want to see her cry, and he didn't want to make it happen either. Was that wrong, after what she did to him? He didn't really know, but it still hurt, either way.

Namine kept her gaze on him, eyes teary. Love? He kept bringing that up. She still loved him too, though she hadn't said that aloud. But she really liked Ben, too...It was just so confusing. But she never doubted that Roxas was her guardian angel. Was he meant to be her lover too?
