A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Roxas rested his chin on his arms again, releasing a soft breath. "When we get back...make sure to tell Ben the same thing," he said weakly. He was still in the picture after all; Roxas couldn't forget about him, even for a second. He was the reason this was happening, why they broke up. Since things weren't going so well between them, Namine could tell Ben what she found out today, and he could try to live up to those standards. Roxas was sure he would, too, since he was so perfect.

"H-huh?" Namine asked dumbly, not understanding. What was she supposed to tell Ben? She knew she wasn't going to tell him about falling off a cliff, that was for sure.

"Tell him how love makes you do stupid, crazy things," Roxas said without turning around, though he smiled sadly. "Doesn't matter who's in the wrong or what the problem is, you never look before you leap." He lifted his eyes to the water not too far off. "If you're lucky, somebody will be there to catch you if you fall."

Namine was confused, though she believed Roxas was talking about her when he talked about not looking before leaping. That was what she had done today, but she fell hard. "...What if there's no one to catch you when you fall?" she asked softly, looking at the sand. "What if you hurt every person who could care enough to help you?" She felt like she was on the path of doing that.

Roxas didn't answer for a moment, trying to think of a good answer to that without exactly implying anything. "...Someone will come along and help you get back on your feet," he replied, turning his head to meet her eyes. Sora said that to him once, and now he realized he was right. Namine had fallen, but somebody would be there to help her get back up. And right now, Roxas figured it would be Ben.

Namine's moist eyes stayed on Roxas's, just holding his gaze for a few moments. She didn't want it to be "someone"; she wanted it to be him. He was her guardian angel, still. Today proved that. But Ben just complicated everything, even if he didn't mean to.

Roxas smiled sadly at Namine upon seeing her watery eyes again, and he lowered his gaze to the ground. His small smile faded away. Ben... He had Namine to himself now. He was lucky.

"...I'm not in a relationship with him," Namine said softly, having a feeling that was why Roxas looked away. She and Ben weren't dating; they were just really close. He knew she wouldn't want to get right back into a relationship after losing Roxas.

Roxas shrugged a little, not knowing how else to respond right away. "I guess it doesn't matter, huh?" he said quietly, looking back up at Namine. "Whether you're in a relationship or not, there's something there. It's only a matter of time."

Namine looked down towards the sand, realizing that Roxas was right. There was a spark between her and Ben that would never go unnoticed. She would be in a relationship with him someday, and probably soon.

Roxas turned around again, looking forward sadly. He shouldn't have expected denial, but when he didn't get it, he felt worse. What was he doing, encouraging Namine to get into another relationship? He figured that would have been the last thing he wanted. But, then he realized it didn't matter what he wanted; it mattered what Namine wanted. Her happiness was all that mattered.

"...Can I tell you something?" Namine asked softly, glancing up at Roxas after he was silent too. She felt like it was important that he knew something.

Roxas nodded. "Yeah, I've said enough," he replied softly, keeping his arms over his knees. His eyes stayed on the water, not sure what to expect from Namine. She was unpredictable these days.

Namine smiled really weakly, her gaze still on Roxas. "I still love you," she said, looking past her brown bangs to look at him. She loved him the same, even if she liked Ben. Nobody could take away the love she felt for Roxas.

Roxas felt his lips spread into a weak smile, those words warming his heart. But at the same time he felt sad. Even if she meant that, Namine also had Ben. There was no hope for Roxas.

"And I know...I don't have the right to love you after breaking your heart," Namine said, diverting her gaze. "But...I want to ask you...if we can somehow set things right." They both loved each other, even with Ben in the picture.

"Honestly..." Roxas started softly, staring at the water. "If I can't have you the way I used to, I'd at least like to have you as a friend." It would be hard, but he would have to deal. This was Namine's choice.

Namine felt herself smile weakly, lifting her gaze to Roxas. "I'd like that," she said softly. She would love to at least be Roxas's friend. Was he seriously alright with her being with Ben, though, even when she and Roxas would be friends?

Roxas turned his head, looking back at Namine. Her weak smile brought one out of him, and he nodded once. It was better than nothing.

Namine's small smile widened a bit, though she didn't say anything. In a way, she was glad she fell off that cliff. Even if she was still in pain from it, she got to talk to Roxas. They understood each other better now.

"So..." Roxas said after a minute, glancing away as he lifted a hand to ruffle his already out of control hair. "Should I get you back?" He let his eyes find Namine again. Now that they weren't as emotional, they could probably function well enough to get back home.

Namine nodded slightly, lifting a hand and tucking back her brunette hair. "Okay," she said with a faint nod, setting her hands on the ground. I think I can stand, she added mentally. Her leg felt a little better.

Roxas nodded and pushed himself up easily, brushing off his pants. He then turned to Namine, wondering if she needed any help.

Namine pushed herself up, her arm aching a little from the pressure. She looked down at her leg and took some weight off of it, feeling it hurt already. It was going to be a long walk home.

"...You wanna walk on that?" Roxas said, pointing at Namine's leg when she stood. "We could always take another route." He had his glider on him at all times. It would be faster.
