Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I'll try walking on it," Namine said with a faint nod, looking over at Roxas. If it was too bad, then the could take the glider. But she had a bad feeling about riding that; wouldn't it be better for her to be able to move and take weight off it instead of standing in one place?
"'Kay then," Roxas said, stepping over and motioning for Namine to go ahead and start walking. He would be next to her in case she couldn't keep her balance.

Namine bit her lip and started walking, hands curling into light fists at the pain. It hurt, but walking out the injury would maybe help it. And if she iced it when she got home, that would help too. She just had to get there.
Roxas started after Namine, being sure to walk slowly at her pace. He didn't want her to rush, since he could sense her tension. Her leg must have been sprained now, instead of broken.

The walk home always took a while, but it would take even longer if Namine walked at the slow pace that she started at. That was why she picked up her pace a little to be a normal walk, biting her lip to ignore the pain she felt.
Roxas kept glancing at Namine out of the corner of his eye on the way back, keeping up with her easily. He was still concerned, but he guessed that was okay, since they were friends now.

No matter how determined Namine had been to walk all the way home, she couldn't do it. She stopped a few times before Roxas finally suggested she get on his back, and that was what she did. She had her arms wrapped around him naturally, not feeling like they were just friends when he carried her home.
Roxas walked along the path in silence, Namine's light weight making the walk easy. Besides, he was used to carrying her this way; he had all the time when they were dating. He kept a secure hold on her legs, though he made sure to be gentle since her leg hurt her. He saw her home up ahead, and he kind of wished nobody was there. Their position would trigger questions he didn't really want to answer.

Namine looked up when her home was in sight, and she knew that nobody was home. The mayor and his wife were almost never home, and neither was Kairi during the day. She was glad for that, considering that Roxas was carrying her right now.
Roxas glanced down at Namine's arms just below his chin, and wanted nothing more than to just hold her like this--in any way, really--forever. He loved her, but he couldn't interfere with her life anymore. They were just friends now. As a couple, they were finished.

Namine glanced down at Roxas before she looked up at her house, not saying anything. Roxas had carried her home a few times, but this time, it was different. They were just friends. Even if they wanted to be more, Ben was here now, and Namine couldn't ignore how she liked him.
Roxas tightened his hold on Namine slightly as they approached the steps, and he glanced down at them as he ascended to the porch. Once he was there, he stopped in front of the door. He knew he would have to let Namine down now, not expecting to come inside.

Namine winced faintly when Roxas grasped her leg more tightly, the leg hurting enough as it was. She held onto Roxas a little more tightly, though she was aware she had to stand now. Could she do it?
"...Should I set you down?" Roxas asked, having felt Namine's hold on him tighten. He turned his head a little, trying to look up at her face. He loosened his hold on her after asking, wondering if it was the right thing to do.
  • Author
"Um, sure," Namine said with a faint nod. The house was right in front of her; she could walk twenty steps to the living room. She loosened her hold on Roxas, preparing to get down.
Roxas nodded a little and looked down, being careful as he started to release Namine. He hoped she didn't put all her weight on the injured leg. He didn't want to see her in pain anymore.

Namine set her hands on Roxas's shoulders when she was lowered down, though she took them away when she was on her feet. She winced at the pain in her leg and swayed a little, trying to stay balanced mainly on her good leg.
Once Namine was on her feet, Roxas's hands were already away from her legs. He felt her hands leave his shoulders, and he instantly missed the contact. But he wiped any evidence of it off his face before he turned to face Namine.

Namine bit down on her lip, feeling that leg give out. She reached for Roxas's hand and grasped it, going down to one knee instead of falling on her face. Seriously? Her leg wasn't strong enough for just a few more steps?
Roxas's eyes widened and he bent down a little, becoming eye level with Namine as he kept hold of her hand. "Maybe I shouldn't have set you down," he said with worry in his voice. She was still weak.

Namine shook her head faintly, keeping her gaze lowered as she focused on something other than the pain in her leg. "I thought my leg would be strong enough for a few more steps," she said. But she was wrong.
Roxas's eyes softened, but he moved to Namine's side. "Here, let me help," he said. He released her hand and started to wrap his arm around her back, prepared to do the same with his other arm but under her legs.
  • Author
Namine let Roxas release her hand, and she allowed him too. She understood what he was doing, since he had done it countless times before. When they were in a relationship.
Roxas slipped his arm underneath Namine's legs and grunted slightly, lifting her up easily. He looked down at her, having not held her against his chest in a long time. The last time he had...they were a couple, in love.
  • Author
Namine looked up at Roxas, seeing how he was gazing at her. She blushed a little, looking to the door. "Um...we probably should have opened the door first," she said, glancing back at Roxas. Now his hands were sort of full.
