Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

As Roxas ate the cookies, he couldn't help but wonder if this would be the last time he had one in a while. He and Namine were...just friends. It made him sad thinking about it, the boy knowing he wouldn't be able to hug her or hold her hand the way he used to...or kiss her. That was something he would miss the most, along with all of the other stuff he loved about Namine. That included her baking.

Namine leaned her head against the side of the chair comfortably, soft blue eyes on the television screen. She ignored the bangs that were in her face as usual, just trying to focus on the program. She did want to sort out her problems, but at the same time, she wanted to escape them for a little while.
Namine...I'll miss you, Roxas thought, looking down at the last cookie in his hand. Ben was lucky. He would have the opportunity to do all those things with her. Hold her, tell her she was beautiful, take her out on dates... Everything Roxas used to do. He was going to miss it.

"Are they good?" Namine asked of the cookies, keeping her gaze on the TV. She hoped that they were; she had a few of them yesterday and thought that they turned out well.
Roxas turned his head to look up at Namine, her voice snapping him out of his thoughts. "Oh, um...yeah," he said with a nod. "Delicious, as always." He smiled a little for some added assurance.
  • Author
Namine hummed, nodding a little bit and smiling weakly. That was good, though she had a feeling Roxas wouldn't have told her if they were terrible. He wasn't a perfect gentleman, but he was kind.
Roxas kept his eyes on Namine then, taking in her new look for the first time. He hadn't really recognized her when he first saw her hair on the beach the other day, but looking at it now, it wasn't all that bad. "You know," he started softly, "I never actually pictured you as a brunette. But...I like it. It looks good."

Namine looked away from the TV to find Roxas's eyes, her small smile widening a little. "Thanks," she said, her tone equal to Roxas's. She was starting to like it too, though she wished it wasn't brought about by such terrible circumstances.
"What made you do it?" Roxas asked. He had actually been curious, since she was blonde the night she came over to his house and she...hit him. But that wasn't the point. It was such a big change, and he wondered what inspired it.

"Um," Namine said, diverting her gaze as she lifted a hand and tucked back some of her hair. "...At Art Camp, some girls thought it would be funny to replace my shampoo with blue hair dye," she explained softly. "I had to go with a darker color to cover it up."
Roxas's eyes widened at that, surprise evident on his face. "...You're kidding," he said in disbelief. Somebody actually did that to his---to Namine?! That was stupid!
  • Author
Namine looked back at Roxas, nodding sadly. "They were pulling practical jokes on me the whole time I was there," she said. "And that was just...the last straw. I came home that day."
"...That was why you were calling me?" Roxas asked, hesitating at first before actually speaking. That had been a sore subject the night Namine got back, but now he understood why she had been so hurt. Those girls... They had been awful to her.
  • Author
"Yeah," Namine said softly, looking back down at her leg. It was obvious now; she had implied before just how awful Art Camp was, but Roxas had no idea. He didn't even know what the other pranks were.
Roxas turned his head, lowering his eyes to the floor he was sitting on. "Sorry..." he apologized weakly, deeply meaning it. He should have listened, or picked up his stupid phone. Then maybe he and Namine wouldn't have been broken up and she wouldn't be so sad.
  • Author
"It's in the past now," Namine responded softly, knowing that he was sorry. But she had more to be sorry for, so she had no right to hold a grudge with him for ignoring the phone calls. He had his reasons.
"Mm," Roxas hummed, breaking off a piece of his cookie as he stuffed it into his mouth. He hoped that would stop him from saying something that he could possibly regret. Today, he'd said enough.

Namine kept her gaze on her leg, seeing him eat a cookie out of the corner of her eye. "I tried coming home before it got that bad," she informed him, not sure why she was telling him so much. "I talked to the mayor a few times about coming home, but he couldn't grasp how bad it was." He forced her to stay.
Roxas swallowed and glanced at her out of the corner of his eye. "How'd you get back then?" he asked. If the mayor didn't pay for her to get home, who did?
  • Author
"Apparently Ben's parents are pretty well off," Namine said with a weak smile. "They bought me a plane ticket." It was extremely kind of them to do that for a girl they never met before.
"Oh," Roxas said with a small nod, though he bit into his cookie again. Ben. He should have known. Why hadn't he even figured that?
  • Author
Namine nodded a little, not sure how to take Roxas's response. "...Anyway," she said after a few moments. "That's why I'm a brunette." It was to cover up the blue hair dye that wouldn't come out after hours of washing.
"You look good," Roxas said, his mouth full of cookie once more as he looked over at Namine. No, Namine looked beautiful. He was sure she would be even with the blue hair dye. Namine was always beautiful in his eyes.
  • Author
"Thanks," Namine said, looking over at Roxas with a soft smile. He had already said that, but she never got tired of hearing compliments from him. Well, okay, that wasn't true; she was easily embarrassed sometimes because Roxas was too flattering.
Roxas nodded a little, a weak smile on his lips. Anytime, he thought to himself, not knowing if that was an okay to say or not. He loved her still, but he didn't know his boundaries. Not really.
