Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine held Roxas's gaze for a few moments before she shyly looked back down at her leg, the ice still sitting there. She wondered if he would ask what other pranks were. It would be something natural from him, since he would want to know about anything that made her upset. Or had that changed?
As soon as Namine looked away, Roxas did the same, feeling a blush creep up to his cheeks. He hoped she wouldn't see, since he didn't want to be embarrassed.

Namine looked back up at the TV, cheeks a little warm. What was the matter with her?! She shouldn't have felt awkward with Roxas...This friendship thing was just a little harder than expected. Right now, she really wanted to hug him just because she could, but she couldn't. They weren't dating.
Roxas wondered if he should leave. Namine was alright now, wasn't she? And if he left...she could call Ben. He didn't really want to stick around to hear that conversation anyway.

Namine exhaled a soft breath, willing the blush away. She had so much to think about. Roxas, Ben, and all the complications that came up with each issue. This was all so much hassle; it was tearing her apart.
Roxas ate the last of his cookie and finished chewing it before he pushed himself up. "I should head out," he said, standing upright and turning to look at Namine. He didn't want to leave, exactly, but...did he have a reason to stay?
  • Author
"Okay," Namine said with a faint nod, understanding. She was sure he had better things to do than sit around with her when things were semi-awkward, so she understood why he would want to go.
"Need anything before I take off?" Roxas asked, running his hand over his hair. His blue eyes stayed on Namine's, the boy finding it hard to look away. Even with darker hair, she was still so beautiful. But she wasn't his.

"No, I'm alright," Namine said with a small smile of gratitude. He was so thoughtful, even if he didn't have to be. His care made her fall for him all over again, not that she ever stopped loving him.
"'Kay," Roxas said with a small nod. "Don't hesitate to call if you end up needing something." He encouraged it because he meant it; he wanted to help if he could. The last few days had been too hard since he had been avoiding her. It was one of the hardest tasks he'd ever faced.

"Are you sure?" Namine had to ask, a little timid. He really didn't have a reason to help her after how harsh she had been that night when she came home. She understood he loved her, but still, she didn't deserve this good treatment.
Roxas shrugged, though a weak, sad smile appeared on his face. "It's what friends are for," he said quietly. They were friends now...so he had to act like one.

Namine smiled sadly as well when the words registered, nodding faintly to her ex boyfriend. "Alright...Thank you, Roxas," she said softly.
Roxas nodded, and he started toward the doorway. However, he looked back at her just before he turned the corner, his hand on the frame. "Feel better," he wished her softly. He hated to see her so vulnerable.

Namine smiled softly, nodding faintly. "I'll try," she said, saying that instead of giving her gratitude yet again. She really did say thanks too much.
Roxas let his eyes linger on Namine after the response, and he forced a weak smile before disappearing behind the wall. He started toward the door, and since he still had his shoes on, he didn't have to pause. Instead, he opened the door and quietly shut it behind him, leaving Namine to rest.

A week later

Namine spent a lot of time thinking, things just as hard now that she and Roxas were friends. That made her want to run into his arms even more. But those were thoughts she didn't even dare to write in her diary. The book held a lot of secrets and fears of hers about what could happen if she was in a relationship with Ben. She even made a list of reasons why she shouldn't date him. But she didn't write in the book today, having gone to a movie with Ben and some of his friends. They agreed to meet up later, but first, Namine had to go home to get into cooler clothes. That was where she was heading now, almost there.

Kairi walked into Namine's room, looking for a shirt she let Namine borrow that she could wear out tonight when she got together with Sora. The last few days, Namine had been getting better. She didn't linger around the house, even if she appeared to be limping the first few days of the week. Kairi didn't question it though, just glad to see her best friend and Roxas communicating and on good terms now.

Namine was still as confused as ever about how things were with her and Ben and Roxas. She hated love triangles, even in books. It was ironic she was the center of one. She sighed softly, looking up at the sky. She was in this position for a reason...She just didn't know what that reason was.
Kairi looked through Namine's room, seeing a few clothes on her floor. She went to look at a small pile by Namine's bed, but then she the corner of what looked like a book sticking out from underneath her mattress. Lifting an eyebrow, Kairi pulled it out, seeing a blue journal pad. Absently, she opened it, wondering what it was.

Namine focused on her thoughts, still walking home. She wrote a lot of her thoughts in her journal. How she didn't feel like she could ever love a Somebody because she was a Nobody. How she didn't know if anybody could ever accept her past as a manipulative witch. How she didn't understand how Ben had a crush on a Nobody. She had a lot of insecurities about her being, whether people knew it or not.
"...Namine's diary?" Kairi asked, recognizing the handwriting immediately. Her heart told her instantly that this was wrong. This was incredibly private, but Kairi's eyes were glued to the journal. They grew soft when she realized what exactly Namine wrote in this thing. Her insecurities.
  • Author
Namine opened the front door of her house, still wrapped in thought. She was a Nobody, whether she liked it or not. It was wrapped in with her identity. Was she capable of loving a Somebody? Was her heart really just like a Somebody's? She didn't know, and there was really know way to find out.
Kairi's features changed to show surprise and sadness combined. How could Namine think this about herself? She was such a great girl, gorgeous too. And yet she was so hard on herself. It was devastating.
  • Author
Namine shut the front door, walking a little bit and then going for the stairs. She set a hand on the handle and gripped it to help her up, her leg not completely healed. She hardly noticed the faint pain now, because in general she was lost in thought. She knew she couldn't tell Ben about her past. How would he understand what it means to be a Nobody? Would she have to lie about her past to satisfy him? It would be so odd for him not to have any idea about her past.
