Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi had her back to the door, and since she was so absorbed in Namine's written thoughts, she didn't recognize that somebody just walked through the door. Instead, she read about what Namine wrote of Roxas, and Ben.

Namine turned at the top of the stairs, walking in the hall a little bit and then arriving in her room. When she walked in and saw Kairi there, though, she stopped a few steps in. "Kairi?" she said in confusion. "What are you doing?" She was just standing in her room?
A startled gasp left Kairi's lips, and she turned around. But as she did so, she hid the diary behind her back. Oh no... Namine? This wasn't good. Kairi was going to get caught snooping!

Namine tilted her head slightly, still confused. "...Why do you look so guilty?" she asked hesitantly, taking another step forward. And she had a hand behind her back...Why?
"...What do you mean?" Kairi asked once she recovered from the words. She looked guilty? That definitely wasn't going to help her!

Namine wasn't dumb; she had a feeling Kairi knew what she was talking about. "...What's behind your back?" she asked, tilting her head a little. She thought she saw something when she was first there.
"Oh, um...nothing. Just my shirt that you borrowed," Kairi said with a weak smile, trying to get by with a small fib. Unfortunately, she felt that wasn't going to work.
  • Author
"So your hiding your own shirt behind your back," Namine said, not believe it. Kairi had no reason to hide her shirt...that was a lie. What was she really keeping from her?
Kairi looked away, pressing her lips together. Namine caught her. Redhanded. Once Namine found out what was really behind her back, she would be very unhappy. Wouldn't she?

"I really don't like deception, Kairi," Namine said, arching a brow as she looked at her Somebody. "So can you just tell me what's going on?" She didn't like being in the dark and people treating her like she was dumb by lying to her.
"You don't like those who go through your things either, do you?" Kairi said softly, slowly bringing the diary out from behind her back. She pressed her leps together nervously, looking over at Namine.

Namine's eyes widened when she saw the blue book in Kairi's grasp, her gaze then going up to Kairi's face. "Um, no, I don't," she said, blinking. "You read my diary?"
"I didn't mean to...It was just..." Kairi said, glancing down at the journal. It was...kind of out in the open. But still, that didn't make this right.

Namine glanced down at the bedsheets, where the book should have been hidden under the mattress. Did it come out somehow? "You picked it up, started reading it, and then didn't put it down," Namine said, starting to get upset. That was the only way Namine could see things unfolding, since she knew Kairi so well.
Kairi looked down at the blue book before she bit her lip. "...I'm sorry," she said softly, already feeling awful for what she did. Namine was going to make it worse, but Kairi deserved it after she was snooping around.
  • Author
Namine realized then that she was dead on, though that didn't help her. She felt herself pale a little, her gaze on that book. "That's really personal stuff!" she said. "How could you keep reading after you realized what it was?!" Did Kairi really need to invade her privacy like this? She wrote EVERYTHING in that book.
"I don't know," Kairi replied softly, shaking her head a little. She glanced up at Namine before looking back down. "But I read enough. I won't look at it again, I promise." That was for multiple reasons, one of the most important being Namine herself.
  • Author
"You read enough?" Namine repeated, looking back up at Kairi before she spoke with a bit of sarcasm. "That's comforting." How much did she read? What did she know? ...Maybe I don't want to know.
"No, no," Kairi said, taking a step forward in panic. "That's not what I meant." She figured Namine took it the wrong way, referring to how Kairi could have read so much that she knew everything, when she really just read one or two pages.

Namine lifted her hands a little, shaking her head. "I don't want to know what you meant," she said, turning around and starting to walk out. She felt so embarrassed and off guard, not knowing what Kairi read. She wrote so many things in there...
"Namine," Kairi called, taking another step forward. But it was no use; Namine was already out of the room. The girl lowered her gaze to the notebook, fighting the guilt. But it didn't matter; it came anyway.

Namine walked down the stairs, quickly but carefully. She always walked away whenever she was overwhelmed with a situation, and this case was no exception. She was aware of just how often she walked away lately, but she couldn't help it if she was so overly stressed.
Kairi turned around and set the journal down on Namine's bed, then walking out of the room to go to her own. She didn't care about her shirt anymore; she'd find something else later.

Namine retreated to the beach, getting there a few minutes later and sitting down in the sand. She wrapped her arms around her legs and looked out at the ocean, frustrated. Why did Kairi have to invade her privacy like that? She felt so stupid, and vulnerable.

Ben walked down the path to the beach, planning to get some shots of the sunset in a little while. Until then, he was just going to take shots of the nature around the island anyway. He saw the beach up ahead, unware that the girl he had a crush on was there.
