Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

A few days later...

Aqua sat against the ledge of her window, leaning her head against the windowpane as she looked out at the beach nearby. Her eyes were on the water, though her thoughts were somewhere else entirely. She was stuck wondering about the possibilities of love, Namine and Roxas's relationship having sparked that interest within her. They were back together once again, and happier than ever, but Aqua still had her doubts. Not about them, necessarily, but about love in general.

Terra finished cleaning up the plate he had used for breakfast, figuring that he was the only one awake. That was strange, though, since Aqua was an early riser too. Curious, he went upstairs to check on her. Was something wrong? She seemed a little...different. "Aqua?" he called softly once outside her door, knocking lightly on the wood with his knuckles. Was she awake?
Aqua blinked, snapping out of her thoughts at the voice. She turned her head toward the door. "Yes?" she called, implying that Terra could come in. She didn't even know he was up, since she hadn't left her room, still in her pajamas.
  • Author
Terra opened the door, blinking slightly in surprise when he saw Aqua sitting at her window with the light pouring into the room. "How long have you been up?" he asked out of curiosity, walking over to her.
"A little while," Aqua replied softly, one leg up on the windowsill, her arms wrapped around it. The window was open, letting in a gentle breeze that lightly blew her blue hair. Her eyes followed Terra as he approached, finding him handsome, even this early in the morning.
  • Author
Terra stopped by the windowsill, having figured as much. Aqua didn't look too sleepy. "Everything okay?" he asked, glancing out the window before he looked back to her. He noticed her acting strangely lately, but he didn't approach her until now.
Aqua lowered her gaze at that, turning her head a little to look out the window. "That depends on what you're referring to," she said softly. Not everything was okay. Things with Ven were still on the rocks after all this time, and other topics were on her mind...like love.
  • Author
"Okay..." Terra said slowly, looking out the window. "...What's been on your mind lately? You've been pretty somber." He knew things weren't quite alright with Ven, but that wasn't everything. He could just tell.
Aqua's eyes softened a little, her eyes on two birds in a tree not too far off. "Roxas and Namine," she started quietly. "Their relationship has made me think a lot about things." Her and Terra especially.
  • Author
"What types of things?" Terra asked softly, lifting a foot and setting it on the low window sill. He leaned an elbow against his leg, leaning forward a little bit and looking out the window.
"Love, and if happy endings really exist," Aqua replied softly, watching the two birds fly away into the blue sky. Love had always been a big interest to her, even if she didn't openly express it. Terra was the only one that really knew, since they were together now.
  • Author
"Happy endings?" Terra repeated softly, a bit confused. "You've always believed in happy endings, Aqua," he said, looking over at his girlfriend. After all the romance novels she read with happy endings, why would she suddenly doubt their existence?
"Mm," Aqua hummed with a small nod. "I have, but some things change. It just took a relationship as passionate as Roxas and Namine's to do it." They had been so strong in the past, and then their relationship fell apart. It was so saddening.
  • Author
Terra was still confused, but he wasn't going to give up with Aqua; he would never do that. "You mean how it fell apart?" he asked carefully. "You believe happy endings don't exist because of that?" It was sad, but they were together again now, so...Wasn't Aqua's faith restored?
Aqua turned her head, looking up at Terra. "I suppose so," she replied softly. Just the fact that a relationship so strong could fall apart frightened Aqua. There was always the possibility that Roxas and Namine could have been separated for much longer than they were. Fate was on their side, however.
  • Author
Terra's eyes softened in sadness, his gaze on Aqua. "But they're back together now," he stated softly. "And surely that experience made them stronger. Why shouldn't they have a happy ending?"
"I'm not saying that they shouldn't have had their relationship restored, Terra," Aqua said with a small shake of her head. "I guess...I'm just thinking of the possibility they had along the way. The ending to their love story could have been awful."
  • Author
Terra tilted his head slightly, another question coming to mind. "...Why are you so concerned about their ending?" he asked softly. He knew that she was friends with both of them, but Aqua seemed a bit...obsessed.
"Well," Aqua said, lowering her gaze to her lounge pants. "Roxas and Namine had such a strong relationship before things fell apart. If they couldn't have a happy ending, then...how could we?" She lifted her eyes back up to the blue ones belonging to her boyfriend, wondering if he had the same thoughts as her now that she pointed them out.
  • Author
So that's what this is about, Terra thought. "Aqua..." he said softly, faintly motioning for her to move her leg so that he could sit next to her. He was surprised with what he was hearing, and he had to take a moment to compile his thoughts.
Aqua recognized what Terra meant with his motion, and she turned on the windowsill, lowering her foot to the floor next to the other. Her eyes remained on him, though, wondering why he said her name the way he did.
  • Author
Terra sat down right beside Aqua, looking up at her. "How many love stories have you read that are exactly alike?" he asked softly. He knew the answer: zero. Every story was different, because every relationship was different.
Aqua glanced down at the ground briefly in thought. "Well, they all have different aspects that make them unique," she answered quietly. Once the words left her mouth, she looked up at Terra. "Why?"
  • Author
"Well, because no matter what path they took, they all reached their happy endings, didn't they?" Terra asked, knowing the answer to that question as well. Yes. Aqua wasn't one for depressing love stories, ever.
"Why...yes," Aqua answered, furrowing her eyebrows. Where was Terra going with this? She didn't quite understand.
