Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua pulled down the lid of the waffle-maker, that way both sides could be cooked to perfection. She then set the bowl of batter down and grabbed a hand towel. As she wiped at the extra batter she managed to get on her hands, she walked to the doorway to see the living room.

Terra's eyebrows were furrowed slightly in concern, but since Ven didn't seem to be in the mood to talk about it, he too turned his attention to the television. He'd bring it up some other time, when Aqua was able to join the talk.
Aqua turned after getting a good look at Ventus, her eyebrows furrowing slightly as she walked toward the waffle-maker in the kitchen. She hoped everything was okay...

Ven ruffled his hair a little, the spikes naturally returning to their natural position. He was tired and frustrated with the nightmares. They were too awful to talk about, though. He kept reliving a horrific event from his past...
Aqua checked on her waffles throughout the next few minutes, and when they were close to being done, she spoke. "Hey, Ven?" she called, knowing her voice would carry from the kitchen to the living room. "Are you hungry?"

"Nah, I'm good," Ven called in response, glancing at the kitchen doorway before he looked back to the TV and stared at that. His dream left him with a sick feeling in his stomach.
Aqua approached the doorway that led from the kitchen to the living room, her eyes finding Ven. "Are you sure? I'm making waffles," she tried, smiling softly. He'd never denied them before.

Ven shook his head faintly, forcing a small smile. "I'm not hungry," he said, his voice a little softer than usual. If he tried to eat anything now, he'd probably just lose it later.
Aqua's smile slowly faded, and she nodded. "Alright." She turned and went back into the kitchen, tending to her food until it was done. Once it was, she would join her friends in the living room.

Terra didn't look over at Ven at any time, having a feeling he wouldn't like what he saw. Ven was pretty beat up about this, wasn't he? He and Aqua tried approaching him to talk about it before, but it was a sensitive topic that he always somehow avoided. That had to change.
Aqua walked into the living room, plate in hand. She'd already put syrup and butter on her waffles, and once she sat down in one of the open seats, she started to eat. It was quiet, so she wouldn't ruin the silence.

Ventus focused his gaze on the TV, though his thoughts were elsewhere. The nightmares had been pretty bad lately, and he wasn't opening up to anyone because of how bad they were. They were connected to the memories he regained from Master Xehanort so long ago, the ones that he never spoke to anyone about. It was too bad.
Aqua glanced at Terra in the silence, hoping he would look back. Her eyes held a question in them, one concerning Ven. What was going on with him? Something seemed incredibly off.

Terra felt Aqua's gaze on him and he looked over at his girlfriend, catching the question in her eyes. His eyes seemed to give her a response. Another nightmare.
Aqua's eyes softened with sadness once she deciphered Terra's gaze, and she lowered her sight to her half-eaten waffles. At that news, she wasn't exactly hungry anymore.

Terra looked back to the TV in silence, not knowing what else to do. He was never good at having serious talks like this, but he knew one was necessary. Ventus needed to tell them what he was upset about.
Aqua set her waffles to the side for the time being, instead focusing on her friend nearby. "Ven," she called softly. "Is everything alright?" He wasn't the same boy he was a few weeks ago, and it had been the night she and Terra had their date that things changed. But what exactly?
  • Author
Ven lowered his gaze to the ground, noticing briefly that Terra shut off the TV. They were going to talk, weren't they? "...Not really," he answered softly. He didn't feel like lying anymore.
"Then let us know what's wrong," Aqua suggested gently, her eyes soft with her best friend. "You know we're here for you. Always." They had an unbreakable connection. That would never change.

"It's just...the nightmares are really bad," Ven said quietly, not looking up even when he felt two sets of eyes on him. And it would be rough telling them exactly what the nightmares were about.
Aqua kept her hands clasped in her lap, her eyes resting on her best friend. "What are in your nightmares, Ven?" she asked, prodding him further. Nightmares had unfortunately been a common occurrence for him, which upset her, even though they hadn't spoken of it.

Ven lifted a hand, running it over the back of his head. "My past," he said. "And my parents and...Master Xehanort." Specifically, he dreamed about one event that connected those people. A terrible, heartbreaking event.

Terra sat upright at that, surprised. Ven was dreaming about Master Xehanort? He knew he was a part of his past and everything, but Ven was worrying about his former Master?

Aqua's eyes softened more at the mention of those people. Not only was Master Xehanort a terrible part of Ven' past, but his parents... He no longer had them, which was so unfortunate.

Ven lowered his hand, glancing up at Terra and Aqua before he looked back down to the ground. "I guess it's time I filled you guys in on what happened," he said softly. They had no idea...But they would soon enough.
"Ven, you don't have to tell us anything you don't want to," Aqua spoke then, before he continued. He didn't have to reveal anything that made him uncomfortable.
