A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"You sure?" Aqua asked softly, loosening her hold on Ven's hand a little. She really wouldn't mind, and if it involved Terra, she was sure he would be the same.

"Maybe...a hug?" Ven said with a shy and sheepish smile, feeling a little weird about asking for something like that. But he did like hugs, whether he admitted it or not.

Aqua chuckled lightly, her lips spreading into a smile. "Of course," she said with a nod, releasing his hand. She then opened her arms so she could share an embrace with the kid she felt was her own sibling.

Ven's faint smile was still present on his lips as he moved down to the ground between Aqua and the couch, sitting on his knees. He hugged Aqua and let his head find her shoulder like a sad little brother, that portrayal very accurate for their situation.

Aqua wrapped her arms around Ventus gently, one of her hands resting in his spiky hair. She smiled sadly as she embraced him, hoping he would be alright. She was so worried over him, protective of him.

Ven sighed quietly when Aqua embraced him, the gesture making him feel like he was a kid. Well, that was strangely alright with him, because as a kid, he could depend on somebody else to take care of him. He trusted Aqua to do that, since she already was just with this simple hug.

Aqua let her eyes move over to the boy still sitting on the couch, and she smiled weakly at him. She would have asked him to join, but Terra was never one for these kinds of situations.

Terra smiled faintly, staying where he was. Ven seemed alright with just receiving a hug from Aqua, so he'd let his girlfriend handle this situation. He could tell already that Ven was relaxing in Aqua's embrace.

Aqua lowered her gaze to the boy she was hugging again, running her fingers back and forth through his spikes a few times. "...We love you, Ven," she said softly. "Don't forget that." Even if they weren't his parents, he still had family.

"I love you guys too," Ven said softly, keeping his eyes shut and not withdrawing from the hug. He really didn't want to. This was the first time that he actually felt peace and comfort for a while, and it was actually making him feel comfortable enough to sleep.

Aqua hummed softly, squeezing Ven a little. He was so sweet sometimes that she just wanted to squeeze him in a hug like this, but she couldn't do that. After all, that was what grandmothers were for, and Aqua certainly wasn't one of those.

Ven stayed in Aqua's embrace, wishing he would have asked for one of these a few weeks ago. He had been dumb, keeping all this to himself. He felt better now that he knew that his remaining family understood him. Terra and Aqua were all the family he had left, and he hoped he never lost them. Ever.

Aqua held Ven still, not loosening her embrace around him. She wouldn't until he asked her to. Judging by the duration of this embrace, he really wanted and possibly needed one. She was more than happy to give it to him, of course.

"Aqua?" Terra said softly after a few minutes. "I think he fell asleep on you." He could tell how evenly Ven was breathing, and he knew Ven well enough in general to guess that he was asleep.

Aqua looked up at Terra, blinking her now wide eyes. "What?" she said in disbelief. Ven didn't... He couldn't have. She glanced down at Ventus and noticed that he was very relaxed, and limp.

Terra only smiled softly, nodding. He understood what Ven was feeling; he wanted to lean on his "big sister" for a little while. He felt safe with her, safe enough to let down his guard and let her hold him. Ven may have been mature, and a Keyblade warrior, but he was still a kid at heart.

Aqua didn't know what to do, simply staring down at Ven with surprised eyes. But they slowly softened, the girl running her hand over his back. She wondered if they should take him upstairs.

"Let's move the kid onto the couch," Terra said, standing up so that he could help Aqua out. Ven must have been really tired to pass out like that, but it was understandable, since he hadn't been sleeping well lately.

Aqua nodded and moved her arms around Ven a little, trying to adjust without waking him. She figured Terra would help her, so she slowly started to rise from the ground, being careful with Ven's weight.

Terra noticed Aqua kept a grip on Ven's torso, so he reached down and grabbed his legs. He held onto Ven and then started to move him so his legs were over the couch, trusting that Aqua would start lowering his torso so they'd lay him down.

Aqua grunted softly as she lowered Ven to the couch, though she support his head with one of her hands. Luckily there was a pillow there, and she gently let his head rest on it. She then stood up straight, her soft eyes on her little brother as he slept.

Terra stood upright, folding his arms over his chest as he looked down at Ven. He looked so innocent. The young man would have never guessed that Ven had such a rough childhood. Kid...I hope you don't lose your optimism because of this, he thought. But he didn't see that happening; Ven's optimism was a part of who he was.

Aqua couldn't help but smile as she looked at Ven, standing next to Terra. He was such a good kid, and he had an amazing heart. She hoped someday that a girl would love him for it, but she had no doubts in that. Ven would find his own love someday, and she hoped she was around to see it.

Terra glanced down at the ground, wondering what would happen next. Ven would be recovering from everything, definitely. And he and Aqua would be there to support him in any way they could. He was their little brother, after all.

Aqua let her eyes rest on her little brother for a few minutes longer. Sleep well, Ven, she thought silently, her smile softening. He was a fighter. He would turn out alright.
