A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

A few days later

 

Ven's other nightmares started to settle after he spoke to Terra and Aqua, but tonight, he was having a different kind of nightmare. One that was horrific because it revealed something that his mind had been blocking out before. He told Terra and Aqua he was an only child, but his dreams told him otherwise. Ventus bolted upright in bed in the morning, a ragged gasp leaving him as he failed to realize he was covered in a cold sweat. I had a sister.

Aqua was currently sound asleep in her bed, having fallen asleep a few hours ago after she spent some quality time with Terra. Ven seemed to be doing better lately, which was relieving. She never wanted to see him suffer again.

Ven lifted a hand to his forehead, feeling the sweat but not caring. I had a sister. Claire...How could he have forgotten? His mind must have blocked it out because it knew he couldn't handle any more stress. But now that he was a little stronger, it dropped the bombshell on him. He had an older sister, and he didn't know what happened to her. Did she die in the fire too?

Aqua rolled over lightly in her sleep, exhaling a soft breath once she was comfortable again. However, that comfort didn't reach her heart. Something seemed...different, which made her grunt quietly in her sleep.

Ven lowered his hand to his bed, using his hands to keep him sitting upright. Claire...She had a lot of their mother's features. She was beautiful, even though she wasn't even a teenager when Ven saw her last. He wondered if she was alright. If she didn't die in the fire, she probably was. She was really tough.

It took a moment, but Aqua forced herself to waken in her dark room. The only illumination was the pale light of the moon. Regardless, she pushed herself up, rubbing at her eyes as she tried to figure out what was troubling her heart. Was everything alright?

But Claire couldn't have survived the fire. Ven remembered now that she was home sick the day that the fire happened. If his parents were killed in it, then so was his sister. He grunted, lowering his head and squeezing his eyes shut. No...

Aqua looked toward her door and wondered if it had something to do with the boys. Was it Terra, or Ven? She pushed herself from her bed and decided she would check on Ven first, considering his problems as of late.

...She's dead. Claire is dead, Ventus thought in sorrow, lifting his hands off the bed and sitting more upright as he clutched his head. He felt moisture gathering behind his eyelids, since he loved his big sister very much.

Aqua saw that Ven's door was cracked open the slightest, and she didn't want to know in case he was asleep. Instead, she quietly opened the door to peek inside, where she expected to see her best friend resting. She saw the opposite, witnessing Ven in a position that only portrayed stress. "Ven?"

Ven loosened the grip on his head a little bit, lifting it to look up at the doorway. He blinked to clear the haze the moisture caused and also worked to see through the darkness, spotting Aqua in his doorway.

"Everything all right?" Aqua asked quietly, pushing the door open a little more. Things certainly didn't seem that way, and the air in Ven's room was thick. But with what?

Ven shook his head slightly, lowering his hands from his head. No, everything wasn't alright. He just found he had a sister who died because of something Xehanort did. He didn't just lose two family ones; he lost three.

Aqua's eyes softened in worry. "What's the matter?" she asked, starting to approach his bed. As she got closer, she was able to read his expression, and he certainly wasn't all right.

"Another nightmare," Ven responded softly, shifting his gaze to the bed. And this nightmare revealed a tidbit from the past that he had forgotten about. He felt terrible now, knowing that a child died in that fire. Claire was older than him, but still, she was young. She shouldn't have died in such a way...

Aqua frowned as she sat down on the edge of the bed beside him, her eyes on him. "Would you like to talk about it?" she asked softly. Ven knew he could tell her anything; they were best friends, as close as siblings.

Ven looked up at Aqua, his eyes connecting with hers. "I had a sister," he said softly. His nightmare just revealed that to him, and now he remembered everything about her. Claire...His big, strong older sister. He loved her.

Aqua blinked at that, not entirely sure how to respond to that. It was wonderful that Ventus hadn't really been an only child, but he used to have a sister. "...The fire?" she asked quietly. That was the only conclusion she could come to.

"I think so," Ven said softly, diverting his gaze in sadness. Claire had to have died in the fire. He found it hard to believe that she would still be alive after Xehanort went through the trouble of burning their house to kill anyone who would stop him from taking Ven.

Aqua looked at Ven with sadness in her eyes, though she knew she wasn't feeling near as much sorrow as he most likely was. "I'm so sorry, Ven," she said, wishing there was something she could do. He just found out he lost his parents, and now his sister too. It was awful.

Ven nodded slightly, still looking down at the bed. There wasn't much else to say other than that. It was terrible that Claire died along with Xehanort's plot. She hadn't done anything wrong...

Aqua didn't know what to say, so all she could do was set her hand atop Ven's, as a way of trying to comfort him. It was the middle of the night, but Aqua couldn't leave him like this, and she doubted he would actually fall back asleep.

Ven's eyes got moist when Aqua set her hand on his, though his thoughts were of Claire. If she was the one comforting, he would have ruffled his hair. Maybe that was why he liked it so much with Aqua and Terra ruffled his hair...Deep down, it reminded him of Claire.

"Would you like anything?" Aqua asked after another long moment, her eyes on the side of Ven's face. She didn't think she would be falling asleep soon, so it would be best to offer help when she could give it.

Ven shook his head faintly, keeping his gaze down. He would like to have Claire and his parents back, but he couldn't. It was impossible, so there was no point saying that wish aloud.
