Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Well, apparently you do," Lightning said, nodding slightly to the teen. Now she was actually curious about his identity. How did he know Ven? Well, it didn't matter; now he couldn't deny that Ven wasn't on this world.
"He's a good friend of mine," Riku admitted, though his eyebrows furrowed once again. "But he never mentioned you--somebody of Light or Darkness, I can't tell." Her smell was off, which made Riku still tense with uncertainty.

"He knows me by another name, not that it matters to you," Lightning responded coolly, not responding to that mention of Light and Darkness. This guy was really nosy. She didn't care if this guy was Ven's friend; she only wanted to see Ven. "I'm going to go find him." She started walking towards town, assuming Ven would be there.
"No way," Riku said, taking a few more steps further in urgency. "Not until you tell me what it is you want with Ven." He was tempted to summon his Keyblade, but he didn't. Not then. "If you want to talk to him, you have to reveal that small detail."

Lightning kept walking, not looking back. "It's none of your business," she responded calmly, though she was getting more and more impatient with this kid. Knowing Ven was so close, she felt even more desire to see him. It had been so long. Too long.
Riku ground his teeth together, taking another step forward as he spoke. "I said no," he growled, and just then, he shot Dark Aura at the tree near the path she was following, hoping that would catch Lightning's attention. She may have been some kind of warrior, but he was too, and he wasn't letting her near his friend. He was vulnerable enough.

Lightning stopped walking, looking at the tree when she noticed the orbs of Darkness impact it. Interesting, she thought, keeping her eyes on that tree. She had only one idea of where the attack came from, and it made sense. This brat must have been charged with protecting this world from outsiders.
Riku lowered his left arm, instead summoning his weapon to his other hand. "Now, tell the truth," he said lowly. "What do you want with Ven?" He wasn't letting her past this point, that way she couldn't get any closer to the village. Her scent threw him off, and so did her goal. Why was Ven so important?

Lightning turned slightly, though she turned completely when she saw the weapon in Riku's hand. "You're a Keyblade wielder," she said, recognizing the weapon. She did some research on it during her search for Ven.
"So what if I am?" Riku asked, his tone staying the same. He stared at Lightning with narrowed eyes, wondering how she knew about the weapon. But then again, she seemed a little different herself. Most warriors knew about the Keyblade.

How is Ven in the company of another Keyblade wielder? Lightning thought, eyebrows furrowing slightly behind her bangs. "How many of you are there?" she asked, referring to the Keyblade wielders. Was Riku the only one here, other than Ven? She assumed he could wield it, since Master Xehanort kidnapped him because he had that ability.
"Six," Riku replied stiffly. He didn't know how well Lightning could fight, but even he knew that six Keybladers against her would be too much for her to handle. She stood no chance, if not against him.

"Interesting," Lightning said, not moving to grasp her weapon. She wasn't one for senseless fighting, not anymore. "What's your name?" she finally asked. And how were there so many Keyblade wielders residing in a peaceful world? It wasn't like it needed protecting from much.
Riku's eyebrows lowered a little more on his forehead, waiting a moment before responding. "Riku," he answered. He wasn't sure why that mattered, but he told her anyway.

"Alright, Riku," Lightning said, keeping her gaze on the teen. "I assure you I don't want a fight on my hands, though I could take down the six of you." She had faced worse than six Keyblade wielders. "But I'm only here to see Ventus. So if you'll excuse me, I'll be on my way."
"You know, this would be a lot easier if you would just answer the question," Riku said, walking forward that way he could prove his point; Lightning wasn't going anywhere near town, or Ven. Not until he knew what was going on.

Lightning shifted her stance to grasp her sword, though she didn't pull it out of the case. "Actually, it would be easier if you minded your own business," she responded, cautious because of the weapon in his hand. "It's personal."
Riku caught her put a hand on her weapon, so he wisely stopped a few feet away. "Even if it is, I'd rather protect my friend than let you slip by without good reason," he said, his grasp on his weapon tightening. "Ven's with two Keyblade wielders anyway, so even if you get past me, you'll have to get through them. They're no more lenient than I am."

"Thanks for the warning," Lightning said, pulling out her weapon. It shifted into the blade and she got into her stance, gaze firmly on Riku. "But I'll do whatever it take to see Ven." She didn't come here just to be stopped by ignorant Keyblade wielders like Riku.
Riku glanced at the blade before he pulled his own back into his stance. "Fine. Have it your way," he answered lowly. This only proved that her motives were stronger than he thought. If she had to fight him to get through, then something was definitely up.

Ven broke away from Terra and Aqua for a little while, wanting some time alone. He appreciated their support, but he was feeling a bit smothered. He walked onto the beach but then stopped, gasping when he saw two people with weapons a few yards away. Riku and...who was that? She looked like...No, it couldn't be her.

Lightning turned her head at the gasp, her ears picking up on it. Her fierce eyes softened at the sight of the person, her lips also parting a little in shock. Was that...Ven? He grew up so well...

Riku's eyes flitted over to the new appearance, in which he tightened his grip in tension. "Ven, get back!" he hollered. He couldn't be here, because of her. Lightning posed as a threat.

Ven's eyes widened in confusion, but he didn't obey Riku. Instead, he did the opposite, starting to walk towards the person who kept their gaze on him. She also lowered her weapon, and by her gaze, she looked like she was taking in his presence too. He didn't know what to say, still absorbing this. Was it really her...?
"Ven, what's the matter with you?" Riku said, lowering his weapon but keeping his grip tight. "I said stay back!" He started forward, that way he could get him away from Lightning.

Ven stopped walking, ignoring Riku's holler. He looked up past the bangs from a few feet away, seeing her eyes. The same as Mom's. "...Claire?" he said, voice full of shock.

Lightning breathed a sigh of relief, putting her weapon away. He recognized her, even after all these years. "Ven..." she said, not sure what else to say. She finally found him. After all her searching, she finally found him!
