Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I don't trust you," Lightning said boldly. But then again, she didn't trust many people in the first place. But Riku...he used Darkness. And so did Master Xehanort. She would always have a grudge against the teen for that.
Riku rolled his eyes. "That feeling's mutual," he said lowly. He didn't trust Lightning either. How could he? She came into this world on some...thing, and she was a soldier that was ready to march into town. That made his nerves jump sky high, as well as the fact that she didn't like him. He wasn't sure why, but he didn't really care.

"Just stay out of my way," Lightning said, hands in fists by her sides. Ventus was her little brother, and after so many years, she was finally reunited with him. She wasn't going to let anyone ruin that.
Riku glared at Lightning, not taking a liking to her attitude. However, he didn't comment on such a thing, instead holding her gaze. "Right," he answered coldy. Whatever the warrior wanted.

Lightning's eyes narrowed, her gaze still on Riku. "You're not going to leave me alone, are you?" she asked, though she knew the answer. He wouldn't leave her alone or give her privacy because he didn't trust her. And that would drive her nuts.
"You know my type, don't you?" Riku asked in response, remembering what she said to him just moments ago. "I'm surprised you even bother asking." He smirked a little, slightly amused despite the situation. Lightning was intelligent; she already knew what he would do.

Lightning's fists tightened, her glare holding more fury behind it. "You're lucky you're just a kid, or I'd knock some sense into you," she said lowly. She had done the same with Snow a while ago, more than once.
"Kid?" Riku repeated, lifting an eyebrow. He then shook his head, disagreeing with that. "I don't think so." He may have only been seventeen, but he thought he acted more mature than his age.

"What, would you rather I knock your lights out?" Lightning asked with an arched brow, smirking slightly. If he wanted to be an adult that badly, then she would treat him as such.
Riku rolled his eyes, shaking his head as he glanced away. "You are really overreacting," he commented lowly, though being very honest. "Seriously, how hot-headed are you?" He frowned in disbelief. She really wanted to hit him just because of the words he was throwing at her? Had she ever heard violence wasn't the answer?

"Extremely," Lightning said lowly. "Don't cross me." Riku was getting under her skin, and she knew that he was enjoying it. Only a person of the Darkness could enjoy doing something so cruel.
Riku held up his hands in surrender. "Not trying to," he admitted. "Just speaking freely." Lightning was one of those people that was almost always on edge. He wasn't sure why, exactly, but he guessed he could understand. Only thing was, he hadn't been like that in months. He was starting to tone his worries down a notch.

"And eavesdropping on conversations and keeping me from spending time with the brother I just found after ten years of searching," Lightning said tightly. Riku wasn't "just" doing anything. He was trying to get under her skin, and it was working.
Riku frowned then, lowering his arms. "Wanna keep secrets? Get some privacy," he spat. "Anyone could have walked through here, and since you two were talking so openly, somebody would have heard whether they wanted to or not." He furrowed his eyebrows and turned away, wanting to leave. "So chill out."

"Don't tell me what to do!" Lightning finally yelled in aggravation, her heart beating quickly at the rage. And that meant...She made a sound of pain, looking down and seeing the pink l'cie emblem appear as a hologram in front of her. She clutched a fist over her shirt to try and help the pain, this being something that occurred whenever her emotions got too radical.
Riku only managed to take two steps away before he heard that sound, which caused him to turn around. His eyes found Lightning again, and at her posture and expression, he furrowed his eyebrows. What was wrong with her?

Lightning sank down to one knee, keeping a fist to her chest and grunting softly in pain again. She lowered her head and tried to tune everything out, knowing what would happen if she failed to control herself now. Odin would come and either try to deal with her or the person who aggravated her. That was how it was the very first time this happened, with Hope.
Riku blinked when Lightning fell to her knee and instincts kicked in. He ran over to her before he thought about it, kneeling down in front of her. "You alright?" he asked, setting a hand on her shoulder. He was confused... What happened?

Lightning grunted, her fists still tight. "Why do you care?" she managed to say, though she winced at the end. This stupid brand...She was supposed to be free of the l'cie brand now that she completed her focus. Why did it act up like this?
Riku frowned at that, his eyebrows remaining furrowed. He took his hand away only seconds after setting it on Lightning's shoulder. "Don't know," he answered, setting his hand on his knee instead. He just...

Lightning shut her eyes, softening a little because she knew she had to control her emotions. "You triggered something," she said simply. "Give me a few minutes. I'll give you the answers you want." She needed the pain to go away and for the brand to disappear, since it surely was still present above her chest and the fist she held it with.
Riku didn't respond, just keeping his eyes on Lightning while she dealt with whatever pain he triggered. But how did he do that? By bickering with her?

Lightning was glad Riku didn't speak; she needed the quiet to focus on calming herself. This happened every once in a while, often times before she realized how ticked off she was. She knew she was emotional because of finding Ven again, but she should have been more careful.
But even if they had been having an argument a moment ago, that didn't mean Riku wasn't worried. What was going on? Was Lightning really dangerous, just like he thought? Or was there something going on here?

Lighting opened her eyes after a minute and saw her brand disappear, the pain also starting to fade away after that. She exhaled a soft breath and uncurled her fists a little, feeling better. She was calm again.
