Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Master Xehanort..." Tron said in thought, then starting to type in the correct keys to find a folder that the person would be included in. He thought the name seemed vaguely familiar, considering he had browsed many files while he had been inside the computer.

Kairi slid down the length of the wall until she touched the floor, now sitting down as she waited patiently for things to begin. She knew this could take some time, conscious of that factor when she asked to come along. Kairi wouldn't mind staying and sitting in on this, considering she was curious too.

Sora folded his arms over his chest, turning away from the computer and taking a step away as he stared down at the ground. He didn't like waiting, but he knew that he had to be patient right now. This was their only hope...he didn't have any choice but to wait for Tron to look things up.
After a short moment, Tron found something. "I found a folder on this Master Xehanort," he began, pulling up a picture of the man on the screen. "'One of the true Keyblade Masters, Xehanort set himself on finding information regarding the Keyblade lore, Light and Darkness, the Keyblade War, and Kingdom Hearts.' Hmm...Sounds like an interesting fellow."

"Can you find anything on the Keyblade War?" Sora asked, keeping his eyes down on the ground when he asked. Aqua, Terra, and Ven had heard Xehanort mention it before, but none of them knew much about it. Was there anything on the computer?
"Yes. There is a direct link to the file." After Tron spoke, he started typing away on the keys to get to said folder. "According to Xehanort's personal research, the conflict began when Keyblade wielders of both Light and Darkness fought each other in attempts to create a X-blade and ultimately control Kingdom Hearts," he explained. "Apparently many worlds who weren't originally involved in the battle were forced in."

Keyblade wielders of Light and Darkness...Sora thought, shutting his eyes as he pondered it. These days, all the Keybladers that he knew fought for the side of Light. Xehanort and Vanitas were the exceptions, but it surprised him to realize that a lot of people could fight on that side. Regardless, he had to get over that surprise and think of more questions to ask. "Tron, what does it say about the X-blade?"
"Well," Tron began, "with what I can tell from this man's reports, it was an alternative method to opening Kingdom Hearts." A few more clicks were heard before he spoke again. "In one of his writings, Xehanort concluded that 'unlike the Keyblade, which existed to join Kingdom Hearts, the X-blade existed alongside Kingdom Hearts.'"

Sora frowned, starting to pace without realizing it. "Does it say how the weapon is formed?" he asked, glancing at the screen before he looked back down to the ground. He knew the one way of combining a heart of pure Light and one of Darkness, but was that the only way? Maybe Xehanort was trying to form the X-blade in another way...

After a small minute of observing the document, Tron answered Sora's question. "I'm certain that the only possible way to create the X-blade is if two hearts of equal strength of Light and Darkness come together."

Kairi looked up from her knees, her eyes finding the boy pacing the room. By the look on Sora's face, she could tell he was very focused, something she didn't really see a lot of, since he was so goofy around her most of the time. Regardless, she remained silent, absorbing the information along with him.

Sora frowned at that, turning and pacing towards the other side of the room. "Then what could Xehanort be after?" he mumbled, though he wasn't necessarily speaking to Tron. He should have been after Ventus if he wanted to form the X-blade; he couldn't possibly start his whole process over again with another person of pure Light and another of pure Darkness. What was he thinking?
Kairi heard nothing but Sora's soft footsteps after his murmur, though she was starting to wonder about his question. Master Xehanort seemed to be quite the sneaky person, and unpredictable. That was where they were at a disadvantage, wasn't it?

Sora kept pacing, though he was coming up empty. "Alright," Sora said, stopping in his tracks and looking towards the computer. "Do you know anything about Vanitas?" he asked, wondering if he could pick up a lead that way.
"The only thing that I can find is he was Master Xehanort's apprentice, and he controlled beings called the Unversed," Tron replied after a short look-through of the file. "He's connected to someone named Ventus as well. But other than that, nothing more."

"Mm," Sora hummed, folding his arms over his chest and closing his eyes once more. Alright, so there was no way they could find a lead through Vanitas. But the same went for Xehanort! No...He couldn't walk away from this meeting empty-handed. He had to get some kind of information that could help!
"I'm sorry, Sora," Tron apologized upon sensing his friend wasn't satisfied. "But unfortunately, that's all the information I can give you." He had no other reports or information on these two people Sora wished to know more about.

Sora opened his eyes, looking over at the computer and nodding. "Don't worry about it," he said. It wasn't like Tron could do anything to change the situation; it was just how things were. But...what was he supposed to do if he couldn't come up with anything here? This was their last option. Was there some question he was missing here?
Kairi could hear the disappointment in Sora's tone, seeing it on his face as well. She wasn't very satisfied either, just knowing that they didn't have all the information they really needed. Sora had to be just as upset, since he was directly involved.

"There has to be something we're missing here," Sora muttered, his back towards the doorway when he spoke. Xehanort had to have left some kind of hint on where he would go or what he was doing.

"Hey, Sora," Terra called, standing in the doorway and looking at the teen boy in the room. He had just arrived, hoping to help Sora not with searching the computer, but telling him something Xehanort had once told him. Maybe that would open up a door for them to find him, if Sora wasn't successful already. But guessing by his murmur, he was coming up empty handed with this search of his.

Kairi's head turned toward the doorway at the call, even though her name hadn't been said. She was a little surprised to see Terra, of all people, at the entrance. What was he here for? Was he here to help out, or did something happen?

Sora turned at the voice, blinking when he recognized Terra in the doorway. "What's up?" he asked instinctively, studying Terra's facial expression to judge why he was here. It didn't seem like there was trouble, so he must have been there for another reason.

"I was just thinking over some things that could help you track down Xehanort," Terra said, staying in the doorway as he spoke his reason for coming to find Sora here. "Maybe you can see something that I can't here." Xehanort had been cryptic in the past, but because of Sora's past experiences with saving the worlds, maybe he could understand what the Master meant.

"Alright," Sora said with a nod. He would take any assistance he could get, considering how empty-handed he came up in his search with Tron.

Kairi continued to sit against the wall, her eyes going from Sora to Terra when they spoke. She had no choice but to silently witness the conversation before her, thought she didn't mind; she never did like being out of the loop.

"When Xehanort and I were fighting internally, I assured him that I would have possession of my heart again," Terra explained, glancing at Kairi before he looked to Sora again. "But he said that he had many different options he could take. I was just one of many roads he could choose..." When he was finished, he looked up at Sora and shrugged slightly, saying that was all he had.

Sora hummed, looking down at the ground in thought. Terra was one of many paths he could take...What did that mean? He instantly thought of how Xehanort's Heartless had possessed Riku, but that idea didn't seem to fit the vibe he got from Terra's words. What other paths could Xehanort have been referring to?

Kairi was actually quite glad that Terra showed up. From the stories she heard a little while ago back on the Islands, he was the closest to Master Xehanort, in multiple ways for obvious reasons. When she looked over at Sora, Kairi wondered if Terra's statement helped any. Hopefully it did...since the warriors really did need to catch him before it was too late.

Another version of Xehanort existed for a while: his Nobody. And he was focused on one goal...Sora looked up at that thought, his eyes locking on Terra's. "Go tell everyone we need to leave right away," he said. If he was right about this, then there was no time to waste. They had to get to Xehanort and Vanitas immediately.

"Got it," Terra said with a nod, turning and starting for the others right away. He didn't know what Sora had figured out, but he could tell by his facial expression that it was grave. That was why he wasn't just walking back; he was running, feeling a sense of foreboding already.

Seeing Terra run off and catching the look on Sora's face, Kairi didn't hesitate pushing herself up to her feet. "Sora...?" she said, wonder in both her tone and in her eyes. What was wrong? What was going on?
