Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku tilted his head slightly, eyebrows furrowing as he looked in the same direction as Ventus. The creatures were different than what he was used to seeing, and he knew that this world was one that wasn't like the others he'd been on at all. Gripping his sword more securely, he started over in that direction, though he made sure to sneak that way he didn't alarm the creatures.

Lightning was unaware of the two people walking over towards the battle that she was in, already swamped with Cie'th. She didn't have time to waste on these things! She did a flip backwards to avoid the grip of on monster, but it grabbed her leg. She grunted and felt it slam her down to the ground, making her screech in pain. She was more in the open now, and only one Cie'th was on her back, but she knew the others would jump on her in a few moments to suffocate her. No...
Riku stopped walking when he saw her, a startled grunt leaving him. Lightning! he thought in alarm, able to see her clearly now. That was her! She was the one that was screaming! And those must have been Cie'th!

Ven's eyes widened in alarm, and he instinctively called out to his sister. "Claire!" he cried. He didn't see her look over, but he did capture the attention of the monsters. Uh-oh.

Lighting ground her teeth, practically hearing Ven here with her. It was all in her head, though; his voice was telling her not to give up. "Back off!" she ordered all the Cie'th, gripping her gunblade and casting a spell. Aero was cast, a tornado appearing behind her and sucking the Cie'th into it. When the one on top of her was sucked into it, she propped herself up a little to see all of them disappear to smoke in that one powerful spell.

Riku watched the monsters disappear, and he looked back to Lightning. She looked really beat up... How long had she been fighting those things?

Lightning sat up onto her knees and stabbed her gunblade into the ground, breathless and in pain. She hated those Cie'th, and she hated her brand for leading her to this world. The monsters here were tougher than they were on Cocoon.

"Claire!" Ven cried again, running over to his sister. He finally saw that he got her attention, her shocked expression revealing that she just then realized that he was there. He skidded to a halt next to her and bent down, worried. Those things nearly killed her!

Riku took a step forward when Ven ran off, and when he reached his sister, the older boy jogged over to their position. He stopped a yard or two away to give Lightning some breathing room, his Keyblade still in his hand. Up close, she looked even worse, various cuts on her form and dirt on her clothes.

Lightning didn't bother asking Ven what he was doing there, seeing Riku standing behind him. She could take a guess at what happened. "Ven left and you chased after him?" she asked him breathlessly. She knew Riku wouldn't be dumb enough to lead Ven to her.
"Unfortunately," Riku answered, though he casted an irritated look toward Ventus. Lucky guess on Lightning's part, but it was better than her throttling him for letting Ven get away with this.

"Take him home," Lightning ordered strictly. She wasn't coming back to the islands; she found no way to lose her brand, and this was definitely the last day she had before turning into a Cie'th. Ven and Riku needed to get out of here.

"Claire, no," Ven pleaded, lifting a hand and gripping his sister's arm. He failed to notice her wince, more concerned about being separated from her. "I can't just..."

Riku nodded at Lightning's order despite Ven's intervention, the boy starting forward. He walked a few feet before stopping in front of Lightning and beside Ven, bending down a little and gripping Ven's upper arm with his free hand. He then tugged, trying to get Ven to rise to his feet.

"I'm not leaving!" Ven cried, Riku grabbing the arm that he had been using to grip Lightning's arm. He used his right hand to actually swing his Keyblade, hitting Riku's arm with an area of the sword that wasn't sharp.
Riku released Ven at that, though he frowned at the boy's way of handling things. "You heard her," he replied calmly. "Now let's go." As much as Riku disliked it, this was Lightning's last day. Ven couldn't be around when she turned into a Cie'th.

Ventus shook his head, dropping his Keyblade and hugging Lightning from the side. He heard her grunt softly in pain, but he didn't pull back. He spoke only to her, not liking Riku's harshness. "I'm not leaving you," he said softly. "I can't...lose you again." The first time had been bad enough.
Riku's frown faded a little at Ven's words, his eyes moving to Lightning. He wasn't really sure what else to do. He should have known that Ven wouldn't want to leave Lightning after hearing of her fate, but Riku hadn't exactly planned on this happening.

"Ventus," Lightning said with a sigh, unable to move because of how he was holding onto her. "I'll always be with you, even after I'm gone. Holding me like this isn't going to keep me here." She felt her little brother shake his head against her shoulder, and she knew that wasn't the most sensitive thing to say. "You have to let me go. There's still a chance I won't turn into a Cie'th." It was slim, but she'd try it. She never gave up.
Riku kept his eyes on the pair before him, not saying anything. He had to agree with Lightning, though, since she was right. After all, she had been the one to leak this information to him in the first place.

"There's a battle I have to fight, but time is short, Ven," Lightning said, some urgency in her voice. "Come on, let go." The blond finally did what she asked after a few moments, and she could breath again. She shifted Paradigms and cast Cure on herself, healing the wounds she had from battle.
Riku adjusted his grip on Way to Dawn as he watched Lightning heal herself, his eyes then going to Ven. He felt bad for both of them, really. They were both suffering from this, after just being reunited. Fate was cruel.

Ven pushed himself up to his feet, his Keyblade in his grasp as he saw his sister also get up. "What're you gonna do?" he asked her.

"There's a Fal'Cie up ahead," Lightning said, putting her sword away into its case. "He's the last one alive. If I defeat him, I might be free of the curse." She hoped that would be the case, at least.

Riku furrowed his eyebrows. "I'm guessing this is something you have to do alone," he assumed, voice calm despite what Lightning just said. He hoped she would be able to handle it, and by nightfall. Her time would be up at the end of the day.

"That's right," Lightning said, nodding to Riku. She noticed Ven open his mouth to protest, but she beat him to the punch. "You face that Fal'Cie and you'll be cursed like I am, even if I defeat him," she explained. "You're not getting anywhere close this battle. Neither of you."

Ven didn't know how to respond to that, but he knew Lightning wouldn't budge on the point. He shifted his gaze to the ground and nodded slightly, knowing he had to accept it.

"We'll back you up from the outside," Riku said with a small nod. In case any other Cie'th were around the area, they would take care of them. They would have to, whether they knew how to fight them or not.

Lightning glanced ahead, seeing the cave where the Fal'Cie lurked up ahead. "Stay this distance away and you'll be fine," she said. The cave was only a few yards ahead. She turned to Ven and ruffled his hair lightly before she ran towards the cave, leaving the two of them behind. She had a battle to win.
Riku watched Lightning go, admiring her strength. She was definitely a fighter, and until she got back, he and Ven would be doing the same. He wished her luck, but he had a feeling luck wouldn't have anything to do with it.
