A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"You again," Maleficent spat with disgust. "You imbecile. How did you get into my castle?" She had high security around the building. How could a retched Keyblader get inside?

 

"I learn from the best," Riku commented lowly, giving Maleficent a look of both awareness of what she did to him in the past and distaste for the same reason.

Lightning didn't appreciate Riku's interference, and she was about to say so. "You idiot," she said. "You were supposed to stay with Ven to protect him from danger like this!" Riku surely knew what Maleficent was planning, and now she could get away with it since nobody was guarding Ven.

Riku glanced over at Lightning at her words, only furrowing his eyebrows at the name. "I'm not about to let you become a slave of Darkness, not like what this Wicked Witch of the West happened to do with me," he replied, glaring at Maleficent when he heard her growl in response. "Trust me. You'll thank me for this later."

"If you think I'd ever give her any real service, you're crazy," Lightning hissed, irritated. "I just agreed to go along with this until I could find a weakness and kill her!" She shifted her glare to Maleficent, lifting her sword up and holding it with both hands as it was by her face. "As long as she's alive, Ven will never be safe."

"Deception," Maleficent commented then, taking a few steps back. "I see it is present on both sides." Darkness held it, but so did the Light. How unfortunate. "But you fools will not live to see the day that the Darkness overpowers the Light. You will fall to me, and be lost to the depths forever!"

 

Riku lifted his blade, getting into his stance when he could sense what Maleficent was doing. He felt the ground underneath them start to shake, and Maleficent was suddenly hovering above ground on a piece of the floor. He only ground his teeth together, knowing what this meant: Maleficent wasn't going down without a fight, not that he expected her to.

Lightning took a step back with one foot, her eyes staying on Maleficent. But when she saw something out of the corner of her eye, she looked over. "Look out!" she said to Riku jumping backwards to avoid the explosive bowling ball that the cat just sent at them.

Riku turned his head sharply to the side, and he grunted, doing a backflip and dodging the ball just as it rolled past him. He landed lightly on his feet, his sword at the ready at his side. "Handle the witch. I got the pet," he said to Lightning, glancing at her briefly. Once Pete was out of the way, he would help with Maleficent.

Lightning only grunted in response, jumping up and landing on the same rock as Maleficent. "Prepare to die!" she cried, swinging her gunblade at the witch.

Riku heard Maleficent cry out in pain as he ran toward Pete, already aware that Lightning would be fine on her own. With a cry, the boy sent fiery orbs at the cat, preparing to stun him so he could hit him with a combo.

Pete laughed, a shield appearing around him. "Pete's invincible!" he said, smugly putting his hands on his hips as he looked at Riku. Nothing could break through this shield.

"I wouldn't be too sure of that," Riku said lowly, a smirk appearing on his face. He ran forward and then jumped up swinging his Keyblade at the barrier like a baseball bat.

"Oo!" Pete cried, his shield of invincibility lifting off the ground and hitting the wall. And then in went flying for Maleficent's platform, where the younger girl jumped off to avoid the cat in the ball-like shield.

Maleficent smirked when Lightning jumped off her platform, but then she caught movement out of the corner of her eye. She didn't have much time to react, only getting out a scream before Pete's ball barrier crashed into her platform and sent her flying off it it, landing roughly on the floor.

 

Riku landed smoothly on his feet just in time to witness the collision. He smirked and then started running over to where the two villains were, knowing that this wasn't done yet.

Lightning noticed Pete's shield vanish when he landed by the witch, but she didn't charge in like Riku did. She could perform an attack at the distance. She opened her free hand and cast Ruin, orbs flying at the two who were recovering from Pete's mishap.

"You fool!" Maleficent hollered, pushing herself up just in time to glare at Pete. She saw more attacks coming at her at the same time, and she lifted her staff and arm in front of her face, getting pushed back as the orbs reached her.

 

Riku took a few more steps forward before he jumped into the air. Crying out, he swung at Pete, having heard Maleficent just cry out to him. They wouldn't have this castle for long.

Lightning noticed Pete get hit by Riku's attack, but she focused on her own enemy. She ran forward and reached Maleficent quickly, a battle cry leaving her as she swung her sword at her.

After barely dodging Lightning's attack, the fight continued on. Maleficent managed to deal a few blows to both fighters with her spells and Darkness, but it was still proving difficult to take either down. A little while passed before she started to summon her power, needing to deal a critical hit.

 

Riku jumped away from Pete, gripping his side in pain. Maleficent and Pete's attacks combined were starting to wear him out, but he used the last of his potions to clear the wound up for now. Once the ache faded, he jumped back into battle, sensing more Darkness surrounding the area.

Lightning was in her Ravenger Paradigm now, hoping that magic would do more damage to this witch. She hadn't gone down with all the physical attacks in battle, and Lightning would have summoned Odin if she had the strength to. She was getting worn down, but she couldn't pause to heal herself. The battle was too intense. A battle cry left her as she swung at Maleficent again, performing Aquastrike, which was basically a physical attack with a water element behind it.

Maleficent winced at the power behind the blow, though she quickly resumed summoning her powers. "You ignorant girl," she spat, her voice holding nothing but venom. "Now you shall pay the price for your defiance!" She threw her hands up into the air, staff still in her grasp.

"I don't think so!" Lightning cried, swinging her sword at Maleficent again. She wondered what she was doing, but she would keep attacking until she saw a clear threat. She didn't know Maleficent in battle, and in the end, that would cost her.

Maleficent only laughed, Lightning's attacks doing nothing to her damage wise. She tilted her head back as her laughter echoed, the witch calling to her powers. "Meteors of Heaven, unleash thy fury!" she cried. The tip of her staff glowed and behind her a wide portal was summoned. Blue meteors flew through it instantly, and Maleficent knew they would provide enough damage and destruction for her to escape.

Lightning's eyes widened at the portal and the meteors coming out, and though she jumped back to try and avoid them, it was too late. She cried out, feeling one send her flying back and then a few more hit her once she hit the ground.

Riku managed to cast Dark Shield to block the meteors, though he still winced behind the force. "Lightning!" he cried out, seeing her fly back from the spell. He heard Maleficent's laughter throughout it all, the boy squeezing his eyes shut as he got pushed back by another meteor in front of his shield.

Lightning grunted, fighting the urge to give up. She looked through pained eyes towards Maleficent and Pete, seeing the latter vanish. She laid on her side and brought up her sword to block an orb, though her sword only got knocked out of her grasp because she wasn't in a good position to stop the meteor.

"You poor souls," Maleficent said, standing in front of her portal still. She saw that Lightning was down, and Riku would be no better. "Farewell." Her laughter echoed as she disappeared into green flames, the meteors vanishing at her disappearance.

 

Riku's shield faded at this point, and he dodge-rolled as one last meteor shot out at him. He landed on his feet, seeing that Maleficent was really nowhere to be found. "She's gone," he said lowly, gripping his Keyblade tightly. She got away.
