Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning glanced over her shoulder to see where her gunblade was laying, and it was out of her reach. She grunted softly, some of the dark tension in the air fading away with Maleficent gone. But that didn't mean that pain was over. She set her hand on the ground in front of her, propping herself up a little.
Riku turned his head, seeing Lightning not too far away. He hurried over to her then, jogging to her position before getting down on one knee beside her. "You alright?" he asked, his eyes on her and seeing how beat up she looked.

"I'm fine," Lightning said through her teeth, wrapping her other arm around her stomach. Her hand covered up some blood, and she winced when she touched the wound. She attempted to shift into her Medic Paradigm to heal herself, but she couldn't, her energy used up.
Riku reached his free hand forward without thought, though he didn't touch Lightning at all. "Don't move," he said softly. "You're hurt..." And pretty badly, from what he could see. But...he didn't have any potions left, and his magic was all used up.

"That stupid witch," Lightning growled, her arm tightening around her waist. "She did something to me, at the start of everything. It weakened me." Whenever her chest started burning, she felt herself weaken. No doubt it was sorcery by Maleficent that caused her weakness.
Riku frowned, glancing down at Lightning's wound, able to see a little blood soaked through her clothing. "She would have done worse if you became her slave," he said. "She could have manipulated your heart." Like she did to him. Lightning had to be thankful that didn't happen to her.

"I would have withstood it," Lightning said with a grunt, still in pain. "I despise Darkness like hers." It was used for selfish intent, like Master Xehanort, a man who she would never forgive.
"You go on thinking that," Riku said with doubt. Darkness is harder to avoid than that, but he would let Lightning believe what she wanted. It didn't really matter now. He summoned his Keyblade away. "Meanwhile, we should get you back to Ven."

Lightning nodded at the name of her brother, releasing her waist so she could push herself up with both hands. She managed to do that, and now her sword was within reach. She grunted and reached for it, able to put it back in her case because of how she was sitting.
Riku pushed himself up from the ground, standing upright. But then he leaned forward, offering both of his hands out to Lightning so he could help her up. Given her condition, he wasn't sure she'd be able to get up on her own. As far as walking went...he wasn't really sure about that either.

Lightning accepted Riku's hands, gripping both of his and using them to help her rise to her feet. She stood and fought her hardest not to fall right back down again, the pain in her chest and stomach almost unbearable.
Riku didn't let go of one of Lightning's hands, already knowing that she was too weak. It was just something he could see on her face. He bent his head a little and looped one of her arms around his neck, his hand still gripping hers as he brought his other arm around her back. "Hope you don't mind," he said, referring to the help. He knew she could be stubborn, even if he wasn't around her much.

"Nah," Lightning said, surprising herself. She actually allowed herself to lean into Riku, too weak, tired, and weary to protest. And actually, she knew that she would probably need even more help than this. If she just had a bit more strength, she could summon Odin and ride him. But she didn't have the energy, so she'd have to depend on Riku.
Riku hummed slightly and nodded, looking at Lightning for a second before he started toward the exit, knowing all too well the layout of this castle. He moved at an easy pace, knowing that she was hurting.

Lightning didn't talk for part of the walk, but she knew she needed to do something to distract herself from the pain, so she spoke. "What were you doing here?" Maleficent and Pete were obviously surprised to see him there.
Riku kept his eyes on the dim corridor, continuing to walk as he supported Lightning's weight. "Master Yen Sid said something was up with the worlds, and he believed Maleficent had something do with it," he explained quietly. "Given my past with her, I volunteered for the job of seeking her out."

Lightning hummed, that being the only response that she could think of. She heard about Master Yen Sid in the past, from Sora. And she knew about Maleficent too, but she now had a better picture of how powerful the witch was. Unfortunately, she knew it too well now.
Riku smirked, though he wasn't sure it was one out of humor or not. "And what do you know?" he continued. "I find you, after all these months." He shook his head a little, though he was actually happy Lightning was alright. Well, as alright as she could be for right now. Alive was good.

"How long was it?" Lightning asked, one of her hands curling up more tightly in pain. She heard "months", which was encouraging, but did Riku mean three months or eight months? She hoped it was close to the former...
"Four months," Riku answered with a small nod. It had been a long four months, especially for Ven. The reason for that was obvious. But everyone had trouble having fun during those months, at least he thought it was him and Ven out of everyone. Riku's birthday had been okay, but he was never big on celebrations anyway.

"I assume everyone's alright?" Lightning asked, eyes shutting in weakness as she allowed Riku to govern her path. She was running out of energy quickly, though she did tune out her pain so that she could walk this far. She was a warrior, after all. She did what she had to do to survive.
"Yeah," Riku answered, tightening his grip on Lightning a little as he guided her around a corner. "Everyone's fine." Safe and sound, though not everyone was happy.

"That's good," Lightning responded softly, feeling herself slip a little more. She hoped they were close to the exit, because she didn't know how much longer she could walk, or even stay conscious. She felt herself depending on Riku more and more with every step, and she felt the blood soaking through her shirt as the wound remained untreated.
Riku stopped walking when he felt Lightning slipping, not wanting her to collapse. He looked down at her for a moment before he released her hand, though her arm was still around his shoulders. He kept his hand around her back and leaned down a little, putting his arm under her legs and picking her up completely.

Lightning didn't fight against Riku picking her up, not that she could have even if she wanted to. She leaned her head on his shoulder in weakness, her eyes still shut. She didn't have the energy to thank him, using her strength to remain conscious a little longer.
