Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku glanced down at Lightning in silence for a moment, keeping his hold on her secure now that she was in his arms. Something about this made him smile a little, and he started forward, wiping the smile away before it could be seen.

Lightning felt herself lose her grip on consciousness more as Riku carried her, and she found herself wishing that he would say something to keep her awake. She didn't want to pass out, feeling like that would be succumbing to her wounds. Granted, it wouldn't be the first time she passed out, but still, it wasn't a pleasant thing to do.
"Stay with me, Lightning," Riku said as he walked out of the castle, one of the large doors being open to one of the outside balconies. "I need you to be awake for the ride home." She would have to ride on his glider with him. There was no other way.

"...Call me Light," the young woman said after a few moments, staying with Riku as he requested. Light was a nickname she had a few close friends of hers call her back home, like Hope. The name was softer than "Lightning".
Riku glanced down at her as he walked along the path of the balcony, his eyes dancing over what he could see of her face for the moment. "Right," he said with a small nod, looking back up. Light.

Light remained silent now, again using what strength she had left to remain conscious. She would definitely lose it sometime, but hopefully she could control when it happened.
Riku walked for a little while longer before he stopped, looking up at the sky and the sun. He released a small breath, not at all worn down by carrying Light. She wasn't exactly the heaviest person in the world. He knew that getting home would be a little difficult, given that she would have to hold her own while on the glider until they reached the islands.

Light felt the light of the sun bask over her, and she had to force her eyes open to see the sight. She looked up at the sky, seeing it for the first time in months. It was beautiful.
Riku was unaware of the fact that Lightning opened her eyes, his own gaze locked on the clouds. He was sure Ven would be ecstatic to see Lightning, but maybe it was best he didn't see her like this. Riku needed to get her home, but to somebody else first. She needed to be healed.

Light shifted her gaze from the sky up to Riku, seeing his strong jaw and silver hair. The hair reminded her of Hope's, though the younger boy's hair was shorter. He and Riku...they were both extraordinary young men. She leaned her head on his shoulder again and shut her eyes, feeling her consciousness start to leave her again.
Riku looked down when he felt movement on his shoulder. "...Light," he called softly. She was weak, and the fact that he had to go from world to world with her on his glider, unprotected, was a little unnerving.

"I'll be alright, Riku," Lightning said softly, though she didn't open her eyes. She just wanted to collapse somewhere, even if it was in Riku's arms. She just needed to pass out.
Riku didn't respond, just keeping his eyes on the girl in his arms. She may have insisted, but he wasn't so sure. His gaze dropped to her wound, seeing all of the blood. At the sight, he moved to set her down on the ground, gently positioning her against the stone barrier. He needed to summon his glider and get going.

Lightning lowered her chin so it was over her chest when she was against the wall, her arms wrapping over her stomach. She didn't bother opening her eyes to see what Riku was doing, trusting him with her life. When did that happen?
Riku took a few steps away from Lightning and turned his back to her. He then summoned his weapon to his grasp. He grunted, throwing it into the air and watching it twirl. At the peak of the throw, it transformed into his glider, coming down next to him in the shape much like a motorcyle. It looked like there would be enough room for two people.

Lightning heard the faint noise, but she wasn't curious enough to open her eyes. She already knew what the area basically looked like, and since she didn't sense Heartless, she figured it was alright for her guard to be down.
At the sight of his glider, Riku hit his armguard, knowing it was time to summon his armor. A brief light flashed before he was donned in his suit, and he turned, looking over at Lightning. His loose fists came undone even more at the vulnerability he could see on her, and he approached her quietly, though his armor did make some noise due to the material.

Lightning furrowed her eyebrows slightly, hearing an unfamiliar noise coming close to her. She peeked her eyes open and looked up, seeing the figure in armor and the glider behind him. She simply assumed that it was Riku, though she couldn't see his face behind the mask.
Riku wordlessly bent down and put his arms underneath and around Lightning, picking her up and holding her to his chest. He looked down at her for a minute behind his mask, glad for the privacy, even if he didn't know what look would be present in his eyes. After a second, he started toward his glider, knowing that she would have to ride with him.

Yup, that's Riku, Light thought, forcing her gaze to stay on the glider when he walked over to it. She assumed that she would ride behind him and hold onto him, since doing it the other way around would be difficult.
Riku approached his glider that was hovering a foot above ground, the seat just at the height where he would be able to set Lightning down. "Stay with me for as long as you can," he encouraged, lowering her to the seat. "If you feel worse, let me know." He would keep his grip on her so she wouldn't fall off if she told him so.

"Alright," Light said with a faint nod. She'd stay conscious until she couldn't anymore and then trust Riku to handle the rest. He had practically handled everything since the fight with Maleficent ended, anyway.
Riku nodded once at Light's response, since she couldn't see his face. He stepped over a little and then carefully swung his leg over the seat, sitting down in front of her. He lifted his hands to the handlebars, prepared to lift the glider and take off.

Light wrapped her arms around Riku to hold onto him, the young woman squeezing her eyes shut in pain when her aching torso was against him. She'd survive...she always did.
Riku glanced over his shoulder at Lightning, not bothering to tell her to hold on tight. He knew she would. He faced forward and lifted the glider off the ground more, and then steered it forward, angling it up. A portal appeared not too far away, and he soared through it, leaving Hollow Bastion.
