A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Thanks Tron," Sora said to his friend in the computer, though he didn't wait for a response. "Kairi, come with me," he said, looking to the girl who was now on her feet before he started forward at a quick walk. Once they were in a more open area, he would go at a light run so that Kairi could keep up.

Kairi's eyebrows furrowed, but she didn't hesitate doing as Sora said. She quickly moved her feet so she could walk at a faster pace next to him. Was he going to tell her what was going on?

Sora reached for Kairi's hand beside him, starting at a lighter jog. "Xehanort knew he couldn't get his hands on the X-blade with Vanitas beat up after their last fight," he said, keeping his gaze forward when he spoke. "So he went with a back-up plan." Why hadn't he figured this out sooner?!

Kairi ran only a small step behind Sora, though she was keeping up with him with the help of his hand. "What is it?" she asked, referring to the plan. What could he have possibly figured it out?

"He went after Kingdom Hearts," Sora said, disgust in his tone. He wasn't just disgusted with Xehanort and Vanitas; he was upset with himself for not discovering it sooner. They had been gone for days! Who knew what could have happened if those two managed to gain its power during that time...?

Kairi's eyes widened drastically upon hearing that. Her gaze left the side of Sora's face and went to their path ahead. Kingdom Hearts? But how could Master Xehanort possibly?

"He wanted to make Vanitas stronger after he lost their last fight. Kingdom Hearts was the only way to do that quickly." Well, at least Sora thought it would be quick. It would be quicker than any other method that they could have gone with.

"But...how?" Kairi asked in wonder, completely appalled by what she was hearing. Master Xehanort took Vanitas to Kingdom Hearts? Didn't he need the X-blade for that?

"I don't know," Sora confessed, realizing that they were getting closer to the end of this maze with each step they took. "But Xehanort's capable of anything." He had extracted hearts before, which was something only he knew how to do. Surely he could come up with a way to gain Kingdom Hearts's power.

Kairi didn't have anything to say to that, no question to ask. And she knew it was because Sora was right. Xehanort really was capable of anything. His Heartless had gotten close, and so had Xemnas. Even he did in the past! And now he actually reached his goal?

"But he probably doesn't have full access to Kingdom Hearts without the X-blade," Sora said, eyebrows furrowing at that. "That's why he's going to have Vanitas and Ven fight again and make the X-blade." It all fit too perfectly. Was it too late to stop them?

Kairi subconsciously gripped Sora's hand more tightly after that. She really hoped Terra could reach Ven in time to warn him; she didn't want his fate to turn out the way Xehanort had it planned. And she didn't want anyone else having to pay the price for Xehanort's selfish desires.

Sora ran in silence, exiting the building and coming out into the Postern. Terra was nowhere in sight, but that wasn't a surprise to him; he ran off before Sora and Kairi did, and he probably sprinted back to tell everyone that Sora knew where Xehanort was. Now he and Kairi just had to get back, then he and the other Keybladers would leave. Immediately.

Kairi continued to run with Sora, glad that he was kind enough to run at a lighter jog than his normal speedy pace. She couldn't move nearly as fast as he could. In a way, though, she wished she wasn't with him, that way he could get back to town faster and get with the others.

Sora made it about a quarter of the way down the path after the Postern, his eyes staying forward as he focused on the goal. But then he saw enemies popping out of the ground, and he instantly gripped Kairi's hand more tightly and skidded to a halt. Unversed!

A startled gasp left Kairi's lips, not only at the sudden stop but also because of the sight before her. "What are they?!" she asked, her tone full of fear as she stared, wide-eyed, at the creatures. They weren't Heartless...

Sora summoned his Keyblade into his grasp, stepping in front of Kairi and staring at the opponents spawning. "Unversed," he said tensely. If they're here, then..."We're too late." Vanitas was already recharged by Kingdom Hearts, and he was here in Hollow Bastion.

Kairi peeked over Sora's shoulder in fear, seeing the enemies before her. Unversed? The girl brought her hands together and to her chest, not knowing what to do. They were too late...? What about Terra, and Ven, and the others?

Sora grunted, pushing off with his feet and rushing forward, swinging at an Unversed that jumped up in the air and tried to attack him. He had to fight them off and make it back to town so that he could get Kairi someplace safe.

Kairi could only watch with worried and fearful eyes, knowing that she had no way to protect herself. Sora, he was her protector in these situations. And sometimes she hated putting him in the face of danger for her. However, she knew he wouldn't want it any other way...

Sora didn't let a single unversed get past him for the first few minutes, fiercely determined to protect Kairi and get her to safety. But when he had to jump back closer to her to keep her safe from an attack, he slashed through an Unversed and had the chance to look ahead of him. A stunned grunt left him, the ground practically blue further down the path because of the Unversed that were appearing. There was no way he could handle all of them, let alone protect Kairi at the same time.

A small whine of fear left Kairi when she saw what Sora was looking at, her sights having been on it for a long time now. The path ahead... It was completely blocked! What were they going to do? Sora certainly couldn't keep this up forever!

Sora furrowed his eyebrows, acting on instinct when he switched his Keyblade to his left hand and brought up his right, smacking the piece of armor on his shoulder and creating a momentary bright light around himself. He had one option now to keep Kairi safe, and that was to flee.

Kairi squinted her eyes at the bright light, bringing up one of her hands to try and block it as well. Sora... What did he just do?

When the light faded, Sora was clad in blue armor, his Keyblade still in his grasp. Well, not for long. "Get ready!" he warned, bringing back his Keyblade and throwing it towards the sky, the weapon spinning and moving as if it would boomerang back at him from behind.
