Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light managed to stay conscious and keep her grip on Riku for most of the ride home, but she ran out of strength while they were still out in space. She could feel herself losing it now, and this time, she couldn't stop it. "Riku," she managed, hoping it conveyed her message well enough. She was going to pass out.
Riku heard the call and released one of the handles of his glider, gripping Lightning's arms wrapped around his stomach. "I've got you," he assured her while she was still conscious. His grip was tight and secure. He wouldn't let her go.

Lightning nodded slightly and let her head rest against the back of Riku's armor, her hold around him loosening. She finally lost consciousness, though she knew that she would awake in the place she adopted as home months ago. And her little brother would probably be with her when she woke.
Riku knew in seconds that Lightning was out, and he silently made the trip home. When he got there, he found Aqua on the beach with Terra, and he asked the Master to heal Lightning before he took her to their home, which was also hers now. There, he left her in her room to rest and get well.

The next day

It only took Lightning one day to recover fully from the battle with Maleficent and Pete, the young woman back on her feet and able to function less than twenty-four hours after the ordeal. She was currently sparring with Ven on the beach, and she could tell he was working hard in the fight. While he was good, she was better. She was beating him while fighting left-handed, but he didn't seem to realize she was fighting with her weaker hand so she'd go easy on him.

Riku walked along the beach, his gaze currently out at the water. The waves rolled up and got his shoes wet, but he didn't care; he was comfortable with it. He heard a clanging of metal and looked ahead, seeing Ventus and, to his surprise, Lightning. He figured she would have still been recovering.

Lightning did a back flip to avoid Ven's swing, but then she was on the offensive again. She shot a bullet at the tip of Ven's blade to make his grasp on it weaken before she used her free hand to smack his wrist, forcing him to release the Keyblade. And then she moved behind him, putting him in a headlock with her right arm. "Not bad," she said in his ear, a little breathless. He was more tired than she was, though.
Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, Riku thought, continuing to walk along the beach. She's as tough as she looks. He knew instantly that she was a threat, when her identity was unknown of course. And seeing her fight like she did yesterday, he knew she was strong. There was no doubt about it.

Light smiled faintly, bringing her arm back from around Ven's neck and giving him a light push forward. "That's enough for today," she said, putting her weapon away.

"What're we gonna do now?" Ven asked, summoning his Keyblade away and turning to look at his big sister. That fight had been fun and interesting at the same time; he never saw her fight before. He never knew how strong she was.

"Well, I'm going to sit on the beach," Light responded. "If you can sit still long enough, you can stay with me." She smirked slightly at Ven's face, which wasn't pleasant. "Or you can go see if anybody else wants to spar with you." She noticed Ven's facial expression change into one of relief, and she knew that was what her kid brother would do. She nodded faintly, the boy nodding faintly in return before gave her a cheesy smile, waved, and then ran off.

Riku noticed Ventus running away from his previous location with Lightning. The older boy lifted an eyebrow slightly, wondering where he was going. He guessed it wouldn't be anything bad, since his sister wasn't trying to stop him.

Light looked away from Ven when he was further away, looking to the ocean in front of her. What was left of her smirk faded away in seriousness, her breathing calming now that the fight was over. Ven had skill, but he had a lot to learn still. She had a feeling she could teach him more in future fights, if he was interested in that. She wordlessly knelt down on the beach, the water lapping close to her shoes.
Riku kept his hands in loose fists at his sides, though his eyes rested on Lightning now. Or Light, since that was what she gave him permission to call her. It was odd, how close he felt to her after the experience at Maleficent's castle. But, maybe it was before that too...

Lightning reached forward and let the water touch her fingertips, the cool water somehow making her feel happy. She could feel again. She was alive...and after only four months of being gone. From what she could tell, nothing eventful happened when she was gone. It was hard to know for sure, though; she had only been active today, since she slept yesterday away to recover from the battle.
Riku knew that it was more than just that experience that made him feel "close" to Lightning. It was before that. While she was crystal, those four months have been incredibly long, and he knew why. He couldn't get her off his mind. But...why?

Light sat back after a few moments, moving her sword case so it was behind her as she sat on her bottom. She moved her legs to the side and then aimlessly doodled in the sand, thinking. To her, it was as if no time passed. It felt as if two days ago was the day that she turned to crystal. But something had to have changed during those four months. Was Serah still okay? Hope? Snow? She wondered if she should go, just to check.
Riku came to a stop a few feet from Lightning, looking down at her. "You seem better," he said then, his voice low with...something. Even he couldn't place it.

Light looked over at Riku when he made his presence known, something in his tone off. But she didn't worry about it, nodding slightly to his comment. "I'm fine," she said. She was a trained soldier, set to heal and recover from fights quickly so she could fight another day.
"One day off enough for you?" Riku asked, taking a few steps forward before sitting himself down next to her. He rested his elbows on his knees. "Ever heard of a vacation?"

Light shrugged, shifting her gaze to the ocean. "When I told Ven I was completely better, he asked if I could spar with him. I just couldn't refuse." Both because of how he was her little brother and because, deep down, she loved a good match.
Riku hummed, one corner of his lips turning up slightly at that. "Sibling rivalry," he said, shaking his head. He would never know what that was like.

Lightning just shrugged, setting a hand in the sand beside her. "If that's what you want to think," she said. Really, she thought Ven wanted to show off to his big sister to prove how strong he was. She was impressed, but he still was no match for her.
"That's all I can do," Riku said, looking over at Lightning. "I'll never know such a thing." He was an only child, and after dealing with his attitude growing up, he had a feeling his parents wouldn't think twice about having another child, especially now. Riku was eighteen now.

"It's something I have to get used to," Light confessed. "It's been too long since I've been with family." Whether that family was Ven or Serah, the case was true. She was alone most of the time or with other friends.
"Mm," Riku hummed quietly, nodding. He let his eyes stay on Lightning for the moment, studying the side of her face. Her features were feminine, but depending on what expression they held, she could look stern or even soft. He saw the softer side of her two days ago, when he brought her home. It was...different, but okay all at the same time.

"I was just thinking about Serah when you came over," Lightning continued after Riku's hum. "Wondering if she's okay. Probably is. Her fiance should be taking good care of her." Snow promised that was what he would do, after all.
