Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning furrowed her eyebrows slightly, looking towards the ocean. "...Can't make any promises about that," she said. She would do whatever it took to see that Ven was safe, and she believed taking down Maleficent was something that needed to be done.
Riku blinked at the answer, though he should have expected it. "Then just take it into consideration," he said instead, nodding slightly. He...didn't want her to get hurt.

Lightning stayed silent, waiting for Riku to say what she was meant to take into consideration. If he was going to say that Maleficent was dangerous, she already knew that. The witch almost killed her before, after all.
"...You may think you've got her all figured out, but you don't," Riku continued softly, though his voice grew strict at the thought of the witch. "Maleficent makes you think Darkness is the only way, and she'll manipulate you any way she can to make sure you believe that. Take it to heart. It could be the only thing to save you." It would help...or so he thought.

"...I appreciate the sentiment," Light said. "But like I said, I despise Darkness. I won't let it get to me." Master Xehanort, a man full of Darkness, destroyed her family. For that, she would always have a grudge against the Darkness.
Riku looked away at that, frowning a bit. "Right," he answered lowly. He warned her, and he hoped that was enough. Lightning might have been strong, but he was still worried. He couldn't really help it.

Lightning silently gaze at the ocean, lifting a hand to her brand again. Maleficent sparked something within it the other day. Pain. How could she do that? Would that occur every time that they faced? Probably; the witch would try to make her submit by causing her pain before anything else. Only now Light couldn't pretend to be her servant to secretly look for a way to kill her. Riku ruined that plan when he interfered yesterday.
Riku glanced at Lightning out of the corner of his eye before he turned, starting to walk back the way he came. He didn't feel like there was anything more to be said between them, and his heart was feeling...different. It was strange, which he didn't exactly like.

Light noticed Riku go, but she didn't say farewell, since he didn't either. Well, that conversation felt...different. She didn't bother analyzing it, still thinking about Maleficent. She wanted to hunt her down, but she knew she couldn't leave Ven right away. If Maleficent didn't resurface in a week, then she'd look for her. For now, she'd stay with Ven.

One week later...

Riku walked beside Kairi, who was between him and Sora as they walked through the square. It was busy, of course, and he skillfully dodged those people that were hurrying past, especially kids playing tag or loose animals. He was still quiet, though, mostly because of his thoughts of Light lately. He wasn't sure if he was annoyed or worried about it, since this never happened before.

Terra was currently hanging out with Aqua on the beach, the two of them relaxed. Everything had been going better since Lightning returned. Ven was a lot happier, and Lightning was proving to him that she cared about Ven a lot. She wasn't a softy like he was, but he could see how much she cared. She spent a lot of time with him, and that was what she was doing today. He wasn't worried about the two of them, but something did feel...off, in the air.
Kairi stared in front of her as she walked with both of her boys, though there was a strange feeling in her heart. She lifted her hand to her chest, lowering her sight to the ground at the sensation. Something wasn't right, was it? Her heart wouldn't lie to her.

Sora suddenly sensed something, and it wasn't just the off feeling in Kairi's heart. "Riku, do you sense that?" he asked randomly, looking past Kairi to see his best friend. Darkness was in the air.
Riku stopped walking, seeing Kairi do the same out of the corner of his eye. He felt his friends' gazes on him and he furrowed his eyebrows. "Something smells," he said lowly. And when he said that, it could only mean one thing: Darkness.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows, tightening his grip on Kairi's hand instinctively. He looked around for any signs of trouble, and he thought he saw something in the distance. "...Smoke?"

Kairi looked from Riku to Sora, worry in her eyes as she followed his gaze. Was something burning? She saw Riku take a step toward that direction out of the corner of her eye, hearing him speak.

"This doesn't make any sense," Riku admitted lowly. He sensed Darkness, but there was smoke? He turned his head, looking back at Sora. "We should check it out."

  • Author
"Right," Sora agreed instantly. He looked over at Kairi, seeing her with them. "Stay with us," he told her. He wasn't going to separate himself from her as long as there was Darkness on the island.

Kairi found Sora's eyes instantly and she nodded, tightening her grasp on his hand. She didn't want to be anywhere else but close to her protector. She was safest with him.

Aqua and Terra decided to head back to the house for some lunch, and she walked next to him in silence. Though her eyebrows furrowed at the sight and smell of smoke. Where was it coming from? They weren't close enough to tell yet, but she was sure they would see it soon.

Terra and Aqua walked for a few minutes in silence, though the air was heavy with...something. And he smelled smoke and realized that there must have been a big fire somewhere. "Somebody's house is on fire," he suddenly said, looking in the direction of the smoke.
Aqua's eyes narrowed so she could see through the thick smoke, still walking. After a small distance was closed between the house and her and her boyfriend's position, the house was in plain view. Upon seeing what house it was, Aqua stopped walking. "Terra..." she said, voice shaking. Her eyes were wide in fear, seeing the green flames licking at the home. Their home.
  • Author
Terra grunted, protectively holding out an arm in front of Aqua even when she stopped walking. "Darkness..." he said, seeing the green flames eating away at their home. Their home was being burnt down! Why hadn't he sensed the Darkness sooner? And what was he supposed to do now?!
Aqua could only stare, her eyes wide with fear and worry. Their home! It was being burned down. "Ven..." she said, looking up at Terra. "Where's Ven?" He couldn't be inside...
  • Author
"He's in town with Lightning," Terra said, glancing at Aqua before he looked back to the fire. He remembered Ven saying that he was going to hang out with her all day, starting with going to town. Surely they weren't inside the house.
Aqua let her gaze fall back on the house, though only some relief was present in her heart. Ven wasn't inside, that was good. But all of their things... Their belongings. Their home was crumbling right before their eyes. Aqua heard a small crash from inside, and she knew that the fire must have weakened the second floor somehow.
  • Author
"It's just things," Terra said, though his eyes were wide as he looked at the raging fire. "We can replace things." Lives couldn't be replaced, though, so thankfully nobody was inside the house. But then why was a dark fire eating away at their home?
