A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Aqua silently agreed, reaching up and putting a hand on Terra's arm that hovered in front of her. Something just donned on her. "...I recognize those flames," she said, squinting due to the amount of smoke. That green fire... Where had she seen it last?

"Hey!" Sora yelled, running over with his friends then. He noticed Roxas and Namine coming in from the other side, but his focus was on Terra and Aqua. But only for a moment. He stopped by them and looked up at the house, recognizing both the home and the Darkness that was destroying their home.

Kairi came to a stop next to Sora, Riku stopping right beside her. She looked up at the burning home and brought her hands to her mouth. Oh my goodness, she thought in shock. That was their home...

 

Roxas saw that the fire was a lot bigger than he originally thought, and he reached back and grasped Namine's hand tightly, continuing to run toward their friends. What was going on?!

Namine grasped Roxas's hand in return, her wide eyes darting from her friends to the fire. It was huge! And green! She couldn't sense Darkness most of the time, but she could see it clearly now. Green flames were not a natural occurrence.

Riku ground his teeth together, his jaw flexing at the motion as his hands balled into tight fists. "This was on purpose," he growled. Those green flames... This was Maleficent's doing.

 

Aqua turned her head, looking over at Riku briefly before her broken eyes went back to her home. Given the color of the fire, which was unusual, she had a feeling that this wasn't an accident. No fire this large and awful could be a mistake.

"How could this have started without us noticing it?" Sora asked, big blue eyes on the fire. They should have sensed the Darkness earlier, since it looked like this fire had been going for a while. And who would have sparked it? He could only think of one person...

Roxas came to a stop on the other side of Terra, his hand still firmly grasping Namine's as he gazed up at the house. His blue eyes were wide, shocked by what he was seeing.

 

"I don't know," Riku said lowly, shaking his head slightly. But he didn't like it. Especially since this was the witch's fault. "Maleficent wanted it this way, and she got it."

 

Aqua blinked at the name, though she tightened her grasp on Terra's arm. That was right... Maleficent. From Enchanted Dominion...

"At least nobody's inside," Terra said, glancing over at Roxas and Namine before he looked over at Aqua and the others. Ven and Lightning weren't here yet, but that could have just been because they were further away.

"I'm surprised they're not here," Aqua admitted, looking up at her boyfriend. "Ven wouldn't sit around if he saw this." Where was he? And Lightning? Nobody was inside, so that was quite fortunate, but where were they?

"He probably just hasn't noticed it yet," Sora said in Ven's defense. He could be clueless sometimes, like Sora. "I'm more surprised that Maleficent would set a house on fire when nobody's home..." What was that all about?

Riku's eyes narrowed at the amount of smoke coming from the house, and he heard Kairi cough next to him. Maleficent had her reasons, he was sure, but he still didn't understand. This didn't make any sense. Was she just threatening them?

Ven ran up to the group, breathless when he reached them. "W-what...?" he breathed, wide eyes going to the fire that was burning their house apart. Their house was on fire?! And by the looks of it, this had been going on for a while. He raced home as fast as he could, but it seemed like it was too late.

Riku turned his head, looking over at Ven. What caught his eye first was how breathless the kid was, but then he noticed that he was alone. "Ven...where's Lightning?" he asked. If he heard right, she was supposed to be with him.

Ven looked up at Riku, his eyes widening more than they already were (if that was possible). "You mean...she's not out here? With you guys?" he asked, catching his breath as he stood still next to Namine. That meant...

"Ventus..." Aqua said, her voice holding caution now. She looked from him to the house. Nobody was supposed to be home, but if Lightning wasn't with Ven, was she...

Ven's wide eyes went back to the fire, his gaze filled with shock and worry. "She said she was feeling sick," he said. "She came back to the house to rest!" She was inside! "Claire!" he hollered desperately, seeing the fire continue licking at the house. This was just like when Xehanort set his house on fire! His worst nightmare was occurring again right in front of him!

Riku blinked, his eyes widening. "What?!" he cried, his eyes leaving Ven and looking toward the house. She was inside?!

Ven automatically started running towards the house, wanting to save his sister. But he only got a few steps closer to the house before he felt a strong pair of arms wrap around him and keep him from going any further. He looked over his shoulder, seeing that Terra was looking at him with startled eyes. But Ven was more startled. "Lemme go!" he cried, struggling. He had to save Claire!!

Aqua took a step forward, hearing Ven's plea. Her lips parted, not knowing what to say or do. He couldn't go in there... Terra obviously thought the same.

"Ven, those flames are pure Darkness!" Terra said, trying to reason with the struggling boy. "You go in there and they'll eat your alive. Your heart's too pure!" He had a heart of pure Light, so he couldn't stand against this type of Darkness. Maybe Terra could...

Riku glanced over at Terra when he spoke, and he found truth in those words. He was right. Those flames were nothing but Darkness, something he was too familiar with. Riku's eyes glanced at the others, looking at Sora last before he grunted, sprinting toward the house.

 

Kairi took a step forward when Riku ran forward, reaching a hand out to him. "Riku, wait!" she cried. He couldn't go in there! It was too dangerous!

Sora heard a few gasps of shock along with Kairi's reaction, and he released her hand to put his arm in front of her to keep her back. "I know what he's thinking," he said, having caught Riku's look. "He can go into the fire because the Darkness in his heart is so strong. It won't affect him!" At least, he hoped that logic was right.

Kairi heard Sora's words, but that didn't mean she wasn't scared. Her wide eyes stayed on Riku as he ran toward the house, Sora's arm holding her back.

 

Riku sprinted past Terra and Ven, reaching the porch in only seconds. He brought his foot back and kicked the door in, bringing his arms up to block the large amount of smoke that came out into the fresher air. It was hot, incredibly hot, but he had to get Lightning out of there. Riku ground his teeth together and lowered his arms, hurrying inside.

Lightning had been asleep in her room when the fire started, and by the time she woke up, her room was engulfed. The fire appeared out of nowhere! She fought to escape it at first, but the Darkness weakened her terribly. She shot through the window in her bedroom and planned to jump out, but the floor collapsed them. She fell through and was trapped under some rubble on the first floor, barely conscious with the Dark fire smothering her.

"Light!" Riku called, maneuvering through the flames carefully. All he could hear was the crackling of the flames licking at the building, and the sight of the interior being destroyed was sickening. "Lightning! Where are you?!"
