Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light thought she heard a faint noise over the sound of the raging fire, but she couldn't respond. She coughed at the smoke, lowering her head behind her one arm to protect herself from the heat. She couldn't move with all this weight on top of her, whether that was the rubble or the Darkness. And the heat...she felt faint. Weak. She hated it, but she hated even more that it didn't look like she was getting out of this mess.
Riku made his way into the living room, coughing as he inhaled the thick smoke. His eyes began to water, but he looked past it, forcing himself to keep going. "Lightning!" he cried again, moving farther through the living room only to quickly dodge the ceiling as it caved in, the second floor crumbling to the spot he had previously been standing.

Light squeezed her eyes shut, hearing somebody call her name. Was that...Riku? She started coughing again, unable to do anything but that. She couldn't breathe; the air was full of smoke and it reeked of Darkness.
Riku turned his head, hearing a noise that wasn't from the fire. It was a person, Lightning. Riku carefully maneuvered through the living room, dodging flames and more debris that had already taken up the floor as he approached the edge of the room. There was a large pile of debris, and he thought he saw pink hair and a hand. "Light!" Riku cried in both worry and relief, starting over toward her.

Light lifted her head out of her arm, weakly looking up at the person she could see through the smoke. "Riku," she coughed. What in the world was he doing here? He didn't seem affected by the Dark fire at all!
Riku reached Lightning as soon as he could, in which he focused on getting the rubble off of her. After throwing a few pieces of the floor out of the way, he knelt down by her, knowing that he needed to get her out of here.

Lightning lowered her head, squeezing her eyes shut again because of the smoke. She felt like death. The only reason she was still conscious was because she was a warrior, trained to stay conscious no matter what. But this Darkness was testing her.
Riku wordlessly moved closer to Lightning, tucking his arms underneath her legs and torso. He brought her to his chest and rose to his feet, glancing down at her and wondering if she was okay. The sound of a floor lamp falling over and breaking only reminded him that he needed to wait until they were out of here to make sure she was okay.

Light lifted a hand and gripped Riku's vest with her fist, coughing slightly again. She didn't bother telling him to get out of here, because she knew he would leave right away. What she didn't know was that a magical barrier appeared in the doorway of this room, keeping them from exiting the way that they came. A trap set by Maleficent, no doubt.
Riku had turned to exit the living room, but that was when he noticed the barrier. "Ugh!" he groaned in irritation. Maleficent! He turned again, looking for a way out, but every doorway was blocked off either by the barrier or by the ugly green flames. Riku held onto Lightning more tightly, his alert eyes darting around for an escape route.

Lightning felt herself sag a little in weakness, the Darkness getting to her. She wouldn't allow herself to pass out right here, though, not while they were still in danger. She continued gripping Riku's shirt, focusing on surviving.
Riku spotted faint light through the smoke, and he knew it was light from the outside. The window. He had to get over there, but first he had to fight through the maze of flames. Riku started walking, and about halfway through the room, he heard a crumbling sound from above and looked up. His eyes widened and he held Lightning tightly, ducking his head down by hers as the debris fell.

Lightning tucked her head closer to Riku's chest, sensing the debris from above. She didn't know how else to react, actually feeling fear. So, this was the power of Darkness. Riku was right when he encouraged her to be cautious. Was this Darkness going to be the end of her, and Riku?
Riku winced, feeling something impact his head and one of his shoulders. But he had to press on, and once the debris was no longer falling, he lifted his head, peering through the fog the smoke and dust created. He started forward again, keeping his tight and secure grip on Lightning. The window was just ahead, and he knew what he would have to do to break it. "Hold onto me!" Riku hollered over the destruction. This could be rough.

Lightning wrapped her free arm around Riku's shoulders, the other still gripping his vest. She was holding onto him, but...what was he going to do? She opened her eyes briefly but then squeezed her eyes shut again because of the smoke, her body feeling as if it were on fire.
Riku set his footing once Lightning had a firm grip, and he kept his hold just as secure. He gritted his teeth and then pushed off one foot, running toward the window. He jumped when he was just in front of it and lowered his head, squeezing his eyes shut as the glass caved in and the window broke. The boy felt something slice at his cheek and knew what it was, but focused on landing on his feet once he was outside. His knees sank a little as he tried his hardest not to fall over, and he opened his eyes, everything clearer now. Riku heard a loud rumble behind him and glanced over his shoulder, his eyes widening. The house was going to collapse!

Light winced when she felt some glass scratch at her legs and arms, but those scratches would be nothing compared to her other injuries. She peeked her eyes open and glanced over Riku's shoulder at the house when she heard the rumble, and her grasp on Riku loosened a little in shock. The house was going to fall apart.

Kairi could see Riku now, and her eyes widened. "Riku, run!" she cried, able to see what he did. The house was going to collapse. He had to get out of there!

Riku heard the cry, and upon also hearing a large crash inside, he listened. Grunting, the boy pushed himself to his feet while still holding onto Lightning and ran away from the house, having been just outside the window.

Ven was standing beside Terra now, and he fought the urge to run forward to Riku and his sister. She was alive! He took a step forward to go, but Terra grabbed his arm and kept him by him. Too close to the fire, Ven thought, already feeling weak from the close Darkness.
Riku ran a couple yards away and heard the loud crash of the house crumbling. When he was a safe distance away, he slowed down and turned, walking back a few steps as one side of the house completely fell to the ground. Panting, the boy watched the smoke rise to the sky, his eyes burning and his face and clothes covered in dirt, and blood trickling down his cheek from when the glass broke. He did it. He got Lightning out of there.

Terra finally let Ven go, and he walked over to Riku and his sister then. "Claire?" he said, voice full of worry as he looked at her in Riku's arms. But she had already passed out.
Riku looked over at Ven and then down at Lightning. Her grip on his vest was incredibly loose now, and he knew then that she must have gone unconscious. The boy fought the urge to cough then, and when he couldn't help it, he turned his head away, keeping his hold on the girl.

Sora stepped up next to Riku, seeing that he looked a little beat up from going inside the house. His Keyblade appeared and he cast cure on both Riku and Lightning, glancing at the latter before he looked back to his best friend. They would both be okay, right?

Riku looked up at Sora, finishing his coughing fit. "Thanks," he breathed, nodding to Sora. His fatigue melted away with the spell, and so did the stinging on his cheek from his cut. He looked back down at Lightning. "I gotta get her someplace to rest," he said then. She deserved to recover in comfort.

Aqua heard Riku's words and she lowered her sad eyes to the ground. There was no longer a place for them to go. Where were they going to live?

  • Author
Terra set a hand on Aqua's shoulder, able to tell by her posture that she was sad. "Why don't we go talk to the mayor and sort this out?" he asked. Surely there was another place that they could stay until they could rebuild their house.
