Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua lifted her head to Terra and nodded once. The two of them could go, since Ventus was obviously worried about Lightning. "Riku," she said, turning her head to him. "Where are you going to take her?" Their house was gone, and the only place she could really think of was Kairi and Namine's.

Riku furrowed his eyebrows and looked down at Lightning. He didn't really know, but something felt off. The fire may have been over, but he could still smell Darkness. "My place," he said then. After being exposed to that much Darkness, Lightning needed to be cared for by someone who had already experienced it. That was him.

Ven was surprised at that answer, but he was sure Riku had his reasons for saying he would take Claire to his house. "I'll go with," he immediately said, glancing at Terra and Aqua, Riku, and then Light last. He wanted to make sure she was okay. He hated seeing her like this...
Aqua nodded once to the boys, her eyes lingering on Lightning. "We'll be back with the news," she said, glancing up at Terra. They needed to go talk to the mayor, and hopefully he would be kind enough to give them another place to stay.

"Is there anything we can do to help?" Namine asked, glancing around the circle. Anybody could answer that one; she just wanted to know if those of them who didn't have tasks could do anything to help make this situation a little better.
Riku looked at the others before looking down at Lightning. "We're going to need Light," he said quietly. To push the Darkness away from the victim. Ven would be there, but the others could hang around if they wanted. Riku's parents weren't home anyway.

"What do you mean?" Sora asked, confused. Wasn't "Light" what Riku called Lightning? Was he saying that they needed her? He was a little puzzled.
"The element," Riku said, looking over at Sora. "To push away the Darkness." That was what he meant. The number one thing to get rid of Darkness was the Light, and Lightning was infected. Not only was she going to need care and rest, but she would need the opposite of what was within her.

"You think it got inside her?" Sora asked, shifting his gaze to Lightning. He just thought that the Darkness was lingering in the air from the fire. Or Maleficent's presence. Either way, he hadn't considered Lightning being that hurt by it. She was so strong...
"I don't know," Riku said, his eyes lingering on Sora before they fell to the girl that was unconscious in his arms. "But it wouldn't hurt to have the light around, just in case." He tightened his hold on Lightning upon seeing her vulnerability, pressing her closer to his chest. He was really worried, if that wasn't obvious already.

Sora hummed, nodding slightly. "Better get her home, then," he said. He would stick around if somebody requested it, but if not, he had chores that he had to do. His parents would kill him if he skipped out on cleaning his room again.

Riku nodded and then started walking, keeping his eyes down on Lightning. "Kairi, if you wouldn't mind...?" he called behind him. She had a pure heart; her Light would be helpful.

"Of course," Kairi said with a small nod. She glanced at Sora as she walked past him, putting her hand lightly on his arm as she passed. She would see him later, after she helped out.

Sora nodded faintly to Kairi, glancing at her when she was past him. He noticed Ven go after the two of them, and he hoped that things turned out alright. If Lightning really did have Darkness inside her, teh recovery would take a while.
Lightning was still out cold by the time Riku got her home, having taken her up to a spare bedroom in his house. After making sure she was settled, Kairi stayed around to make sure the Darkness didn't get too deep. Riku was thankful she was being so helpful, and he was sure Ven was too. After all, both of them had pure hearts. That would help a great deal.

Ven sat with his back against Light's bed for a few hours, staying there until it was dark. Terra and Aqua came and insisted that he got some sleep, so he left to stay with his two best friends in their new temporary home. He'd trust Riku to take care of his sister the rest of the night, since Kairi went home a few hours earlier.
Riku stood against the wall in Lightning's bedroom now, the darkness of the night putting the room into shadows. The only illumination was the pale moonlight coming through the windows, one of them on his face, and the other shining on the bed. The boy's aqua eyes were locked on Lightning, his worry increasing the longer she stayed asleep.

Lightning had been suffering from the Darkness ever since the Light left, not that she knew that it was there in the first place. This Darkness is...cold, she thought, curling up a little as she faced the room. But at least the Darkness wasn't as bad as it was earlier, when she was knocked out before she even realized what was happening.
Riku tensed slightly at the sight of Lightning stirring, but he didn't move. He was actually hesitant to be around her, given that he had more Darkness in him than normal. He was afraid it would taint her even more than the Darkness already had, and that was the last thing he wanted. "I don't want this for you," he said quietly. He didn't want this curse on anybody.

Light didn't hear the words spoken to her, the young woman pulling the blankets closer to her to try and get rid of the cold. It didn't really work, though. She shivered, tense because of the Darkness.
Riku pushed himself off the wall and went over to the closet, opening it quietly. Since this was the spare bedroom, there were always extra blankets. He grabbed one and approached the bed in silence, unfolding the blanket and spreading it out over Lightning's form. He wasn't sure what to do, really. Riku had to suffer through the Darkness for a long time, and alone. He didn't want Lightning going through that.

Light stopped shivering when she felt something warm go over her, though that wasn't really what made her feel warm. She wasn't alone. She was alone so often, that strangely, she felt warmer when somebody was close even when they had Darkness within them.
Riku tucked the covers around Lightning, near her now as he stood at her bedside. He looked down at her for a moment before he squatted down next to the bed, his elbows coming up to rest on the mattress as his hands linked together. He brought them to his lips as he gazed at Lightning, just looking at her in the silence. There was nothing to say.

Lightning started awakening after being unconscious most of the day, and that was probably reflected on her facial expression. She furrowed her eyebrows slightly, trying to pull away from the darkness of unconsciousness.
Riku kept his position, his expression remaining grave, worried, and sad. He didn't know what Lightning would think if she woke up. Would she be angry that he brought her here? Or would she be grateful? Would she want to see Ven instead, or hunt down Maleficent, who was responsible for this? The possibilities were endless, because Lightning was someone he found unpredictable.

Light opened her eyes after a few moments, blinking away the haze on unconsciousness. But it wasn't just the haze that made things appear dark. She first looked up, realizing that she was in a bedroom and looking up at the ceiling. Was this her room? No...of course not. It was different. But she had been hoping what happened earlier was only a nightmare. It wasn't.
Riku blinked, but he didn't move, seeing that Lightning's eyes were now open. He was actually quite relieved, since the Darkness had different effects on everyone, even if all of them held the same amount of gravity.
