Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

After a few moments, Lightning decided to move. She forced herself to sit upright and then turn so her feet were off the bed, seeing her sword and case on the other side of the room. If she could make it over there, then she could summon Odin and follow Riku. Or go get somebody else to do it for her, but she didn't like the latter option. She also didn't know if Riku was watching as she tried to rise up off the bed.
Riku furrowed his eyebrows behind his helmet, and he sent a weak Dark Aura orb at the window. The most it did was tap it and create a light sizzling, but no permanent damage was done. Lightning wasn't leaving; she wasn't in the condition.

Lightning turned her head sharply at the noise, and she saw the orb fade away. She furrowed her eyebrows and looked past it, seeing Riku on his glider looking at her. He defied her, and now she would defy him. She wouldn't let him do something this stupid and irrational, not tonight.
Riku kept his eyes locked on Light, and he was sure she could feel his glare even if his face wasn't visible. After a moment, he set his hand back on the handlebars of his glider and zoomed off. He trusted her not to do something stupid when she was weak.

Light furrowed her eyebrows, glaring at the window for a few moments before she started working on standing up again. She'd take her sword and then do what she could. Riku should have expected her to do this; he shouldn't have left her alone when her pride was damaged. She'd make the witch pay, not Riku.
Riku left Destiny Islands within seconds, and he knew his next destination immedialy. Hollow Bastion, Maleficent's castle. She would pay for she did that day, to both his three close friends and Light.

It took longer than she would have liked, but eventually Lightning grabbed her sword and equipped it. She knew she couldn't go after Riku in this shape, but she didn't feel as if she had a choice. She cared, and so she would go. She kept a hand on the wall and slowly started for the door, determination in her eyes.
"Not so fast, child." Maleficent's voice echoed through the room before she appeared in the bedroom in a burst of green flames. "Riku would not be happy with your defiance, now would he?" She smiled evilly at the soldier, who appeared just as weak as she'd hoped.

Light grunted at the appearance, grasping her sword and keeping it down by her side as she kept one hand against the wall. "Maleficent," she growled. Why wasn't she surprised?
"Perfect timing, isn't it?" the witch said, looking around. "The darkest time of night, everyone sound asleep and vulnerable to all of the Darkness's creatures. And the only one who could protect you just left this world. How unfortunate." It was far from it, really. Maleficent had it planned this way. Once again, Riku was falling into her little trap.

Lightning ignored the last comment, knowing that it wasn't really unfortunate for Maleficent. She set it up this way. "You'll pay, for what you've done." She winced in pain and weakness, the Darkness stronger when Maleficent was around.
Maleficent only continued to smile. "Oh, I'm not finished yet," she replied smoothly, holding her staff. "My plan has only just begun to take action." She started to approach Lightning. "Dear Riku has let himself fall into another one of my traps again, and he will feel just as awful with this one as the last. It shall change his life forever, and you will be the one he fights for, but unfortunately loses."

"W-what?" Lightning asked, confused. "Riku's not fighting for me; he's fighting for his other friends." Regardless, she lifted her gunblade and set her finger on the trigger, prepared to shoot if Maleficent came any closer.
"How naive the young are," Maleficent said with a shake of her head, still approaching Lightning despite the threat. The girl would do no damage to her. "So blind."

Lightning pulled back on the trigger and shot a bullet at Maleficent when she kept walking, and after that, she had to lower her arm in weakness. That bullet must have hit; Lightning had great aim. And the bullets were strong, so that one had to have done damage.
Maleficent was guarded by an invisible shield, one she casted before arriving because she knew that this girl would be a stubborn fool. "Stupid girl," she snapped. "I shall show you that you shall never underestimate the Mistress of All Evil!" She swung her staff, casting a dark spell to knock Lightning out. Enough with this foolishness.

Lightning cried out, feeling the spell impact her heart roughly. She only had enough time to slip her sword back into its case discretely before she fell down to the ground, consciousness leaving her a moment before she impacted the floor.
Riku arrived in Hollow Bastion in little time, hopping off his glider on one of the balconies of the castle. He sensed Darkness all around him, so he knew Maleficent was here; this was her headquarters, after all. His armor disappeared as he summoned his Keyblade to his grasp, the boy starting toward the set of large double doors. She was going to pay.

Pete stood by waiting in the main hall, having told to stand in Maleficent's place until she returned with her prize. He would also tell Riku where Maleficent went, since the teen was obviously here to deal with her and not the cat. Pete actually preferred it that way, since the power of the Keyblade wielders intimidated him.

Riku shoved one of the large double doors open, keeping his grasp on his Keyblade tight. Maleficent was here, or so he thought, and she was going to pay her dues. She was in deep trouble with him.

Pete stood waiting still, though he then saw Riku enter the castle. "About time," he said, shaking his head slightly. He was wondering when Riku would show up, like Maleficent predicted. And here he was now. Pete was glad he would just be the bearer of bad news and not target practice for Riku. He'd vanish before then.

"Out of my way, pussycat," Riku said upon seeing Pete, walking calmly toward him. "I'm here to deal with the witch, not her pet." Pete was a fool if he ever saw one, and he'd seen a lot. He didn't have time to waste on him.

"Maleficent's not in right now," Pete said, backing up slightly towards the small waterfall when Riku walked in. "She left to pick up somebody before your appointment with her. She'll be in shortly." Indeed, she should have been back anytime now.

"Hmph," Riku said, closing his eyes as he smirked humorlessly. "I see you took my spot as her tool. You get treats?" He kept walking further into the room, his eyes finding Pete again.

"I like my job, thank you very much," Pete spat. "At least I have the guts to stay with the Darkness." Riku was a coward for changing his ways and running from Maleficent's Darkness. And a fool. Maleficent, where are you?
