A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Lightning looked past Riku to Odin, seeing him struggle. This was bad...If Maleficent defeated him, then she had no way out of here. Odin needed time to recover from the battle. "This is a battle I want to fight," she said, looking back to Riku.

"But not one you should," Riku retorted, furrowing his eyebrows. His hand moved a little on Lightning's back, his other hand still holding his weapon as his arm remained around her. "Just...go, okay? You can't get hurt." Ven would kill her, but he would also curse himself for letting it happen.

Lightning thought about it for a few moments, something in Riku's voice actually making her give up on her stubborn behavior for a moment. But then it came back, and she shook her head faintly. She wasn't leaving, not alone.

Riku frowned. "Light..." he said lowly, warning in his tone. But once again, Maleficent's cry interrupted him. He turned his head sharply, his hold on Lightning loosening a little as he saw Maleficent summoned large Heartless carrying shields. He grunted in distaste. Great.

Light looked past Riku, worry in her eyes when she saw Odin get swamped with Heartless. "He's not going to be strong enough to get out of this," she said aloud, paling a little in concern. "Which means I can't leave." Running was out of the question since she was so weak.

Riku growled under his breath at the words, and the situation in general. He had an idea, and Lightning wasn't going to like it, but she would have to deal. He dismissed his Keyblade and adjusted his grip on Lightning, sweeping her off her feet before he started away from the battle. If she couldn't run away, he would take her, then get back to Maleficent.

Light was surprised when Riku swept her off her feet, but she heard Odin get defeated behind them. That immediately signaled trouble; now Maleficent wasn't busy with anyone. She sensed Odin vanish, and at the same time, she noticed Heartless block the path that Riku was on.

Riku skidded to a halt, a grunt leaving him. "You've got to be kidding," he said in disbelief. This was ridiculous. He turned around then as the Heartless blocked his path, Maleficent on the other side.

 

"You really didn't think I wouldn't pursue you, did you?" she said with venom in her voice. "What kind of witch do you think I am?" That just wouldn't do.

Light wordlessly reached for her gunblade with her arm that wasn't close to Riku, setting her hand on the hilt. Time to fight, she thought, seeing all the enemies. She didn't know how it would turn out, though, since she was really weak and Odin couldn't help her.

Riku glared at Maleficent, but then he looked over at the Heartless. Lightning was closest to them, and he was closest to the witch. "Time for some teamwork," he murmured to her, the boy lowering her feet to the ground before he summoned his Keyblade.

 

"Ha!" Maleficent laughed, seeing what Riku was doing. "What a poor, foolish boy you are! When will you learn that you cannont defeat me?!" So infuriating!

Lightning stood out of sheer determination, pulling her blade out completely and allowing it to transform. She knew that the Heartless were hers and the witch was Riku's, and right now, there was no time to argue over that. She didn't want a fight at all; she wasn't in the right condition to fight.

Riku kept his free arm around Lightning's waist to support her, pointing his Keyblade at Maleficent. "You reek," he spat lowly. "But I smell death in your future, and I'm sure you agree that it's about time you die. After all, you have to get sick of losing to me." How many times had he or his friends defeated her? Countless times. It was about time for Maleficent to take the hint and fade to Oblivion.

Lightning leaned against Riku slightly, though she knew that he couldn't hold her up like this forever. There were many battles to be fought, and he couldn't handle all the enemies on his own. She would have to fight too.

Maleficent hissed a little, tightning her grip on her staff. "You pathetic boy! Don't you know who you're talking to?!" she roared. "I am the mistress of all evil!" She lifted her hands above her head and called to her dark powers, sending a line of green fire at Riku.

 

The Keyblade Master's eyes widened and he did what was instinctive. "Freeze!" he cried, the spell shooting out of his weapon and dousing the fire before it could reach him, but it went farther, striking Maleficent.

Lightning had lifted her gunblade to block the attack, but it never struck. She kept it raised slightly in her left hand, since her right side was against Riku. He couldn't use magic the whole battle, so how was this going to work? And there were the Heartless, too...

Riku kept his tight grip on Lightning's waist, keeping her next to him as he casted a Thunder spell against Maleficent. She was shocked but summoned a shield to get rid of the rest of the lightning strikes. This couldn't go on like this. But, he didn't want to let Lightning go. She was too weak.

"You can't depend on magic like this," Lightning said, eyebrows furrowing as she looked up at Riku. She saw a shadow come over on her side out of the corner of her eye and she wordlessly lifted her gunblade, shooting a bullet through the creature and destroying it. She doubted the bigger Heartless would be taken down so easily.

Riku glanced over at Lightning before his eyes went back to Maleficent. His jaw flexed in aggravation, the boy knowing that they were stuck in an awful position. Maleficent sent an orb toward him while he was distracted, and he lifted his Keyblade to block it. He winced when it sent a shock through his arm, but it was nothing compared to the meteor from earlier.

"Let me go," Lightning insisted, feeling more aggravated with Maleficent when she caused Riku some pain. She couldn't fight the witch, but Riku could. She could hopefully keep herself safe for a little while when he did that.

Riku lowered his blade, though his grasp on Lightning tightened as he squeezed her. "Don't hesitate calling me," he told her, his voice low so Maleficent couldn't possibly hear. He then released Lightning, preparing to run off toward the witch to end her once and for all.

No, I think I will, Light thought, seeing Riku run off a moment after he released her. She would be hesitant to call him, because he seemed easily distracted by her. She wouldn't let herself make him vulnerable. She switched her gunblade to her good hand and turned around, seeing Heartless everywhere. They didn't look prepared to leave her alone, either. She stood in a ready position, though she didn't know how much she could do in this condition.

Riku ran forward and shot Dark Aura at Maleficent as a distraction, and he saw her dodge it skillfully, but he had another trick up his sleeve. He swung at her with as much strength as he could, striking her in the shoulder. He heard her gasp for breath at the pain, but he didn't hold back, crying out as he struck her again. His blood was boiling at her cruelty these last few days, and for what she did to him and his friends in the past. He was finished with her.

Light was ambushed by Heartless a few moments after Riku started his battle with Maleficent, but she didn't call out to him. The adrenaline flooding to her veins helped her defend herself, and though she didn't actually swing her sword, she dodged attacks and used her gunblade to shoot bullets. She managed to take down one larger Heartless when another smacked her with its shield, making her stumble back a few steps.

"Get away from me!" Maleficent spat, swinging her staff. She heard Riku grunt at the contact, and she only sent another dose of fire at him. Unfortunately, he managed to block it. She knew this would take a while. Such a stubborn fool.

Light grunted, shooting a bullet at the Heartless that struck her and killing it. There were too many here...But they were still blocking the door, and she wouldn't save her own skin anyway while Riku was still fighting. She shifted into her Ravenger Paradigm even though it used up some energy, casting Aero on her enemies and injuring a lot of them. But that used up a lot of power.
