A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Lightning heard the fighting come to an end, and moments later, Odin vanished. But somehow, her consciousness did not. She was shocked she was still awake. Apparently she underestimated her strength in this case.

Riku kept his hands where they were, his gaze just resting on Lightning. Silence was around them now, and he was okay with that; the battle was over for now, and he liked it better that way.

What're you waiting for? Lightning wanted to say, though she remained silent except for her soft breathing. Sitting here wasn't going to do them any good. It was day now, and surely the others were wondering where they were.

"Can you stay conscious until we get back?" Riku asked after a moment. He would have to escort her home on his glider, like last time. He didn't like the trend that was being set, but there was nothing he could do about it.

Lightning shook her head faintly, not even able to speak because of how weak she was. She could pass out at any second now, especially if the Darkness overwhelmed her like it had before. There was no telling when she'd lose consciousness.

Riku's eyes softened at that, but he nodded. "Alright," he said quietly, releasing Lightning's shoulder so he could summon his glider. It appeared in seconds and he slowly took his hand back from Light's head and scooped her up in his arms, lifting her off the ground. They were going home.

Light's head found Riku's shoulder automatically, her body limp in his arms. She didn't like how used to this she was becoming; she was stronger than this. She was a warrior and she hadn't even proved to Ven's friends that she could be an asset in battle yet, at least from what she saw. That was upsetting.

Riku glanced down at Lightning in his arms before he set her down on the glider. He had to admit, he liked this...her being in his arms. It was something different, but it felt right. Riku took his arms back before his armor covered him and he climbed on his glider as well. It was time to get out of here and hope Maleficent didn't attack for a while.

Lightning didn't wrap her arms around Riku when he sat down in front of her, for the moment he was seated, she lost consciousness. She leaned her head forward and rested against his back, having stayed awake for as long as she could.

"Huh?" Riku murmured, turning his head to glance over his shoulder. His eyes softened with worry when he saw that Lightning had gone unconscious, and he reached behind him, finding her arms. He wrapped them around his torso silently, though he kept one larger hand over them to keep her with him as they went home. Riku lifted the glider into the air, keeping his grip on Lightning secure as they left Hollow Bastion.

A little while later on Destiny Islands, Ven paced the beach, everyone else just standing or sitting around. They had gone to check on Lightning earlier that morning, but she and Riku were both gone. And a damaged bullet was on the ground, proving that something happened. He desperately wanted to go search for his sister, but the others wouldn't let him go. They said Riku and Lightning would be back soon.

Riku kept his arm over Lightning's that were around him as he flew into his world's atmosphere, and he frowned when he noticed it was day. Great, that meant that the others were up. No doubt worrying over Lightning's whereabouts either.

Sora looked up at the sky when he saw something, and he was relieved to recognize who it was. "There's Riku," he said, pushing himself up so he was standing. He didn't see Lightning on Odin, so he squinted to see if she was riding Riku's glider with him. She was, and Ven seemed to notice that too.

Riku saw the others on the beach once he was close enough, and he lowered his glider to the beach a little ways off. Once he landed, he carefully released one of Lightning's arms so he could climb off. Once he was standing, he picked her up, holding her bridal style like before as he turned around and started toward everyone gathered on the beach.

Terra already noticed Ven run over to Riku and Lightning, the latter of whom clearly unconscious. "What happened?" he asked Riku, eyebrows furrowed in seriousness. Where did the two of them go? There must have been a fight, judging by Riku's grave expression.

His armor now gone, Riku could see everyone clearly, stopped so Ven could look at Lightning. "Maleficent," he answered lowly. "She grabbed her while I wasn't around." It was his fault, too. If he just stayed in the room with her, none of this would have happened.

Ven stopped by Riku and his big sister, grunting in surprise. "What?!" he said, first being angered that Maleficent got to his sister. But what did Riku mean that he wasn't around? Ven trusted him to stay with her the entire night....

Riku sighed, looking away from Ventus. He knew he would have to explain, but still... He didn't really want to. "It was my fault, alright?" he said, glancing at Ven before he looked at the others. It was, and that was all they needed to know. The rest was pretty awful, at least in his eyes.

Ven imagined that the rest of his friends wore surprised expressions, and while his also showed that emotion, anger was also apparent. "It's your fault she's like this?" Ven said, furrowing his eyebrows slightly as he looked from Claire to Riku.

Riku nodded once, though he didn't say anything verbally. He looked away from the others and down at Lightning, feeling awful for the way she was. It was his fault, since he left her alone. If he hadn't done that, Maleficent wouldn't have gotten a hold of her.

"What exactly happened?" Terra asked, looking from Ven to Riku. He was sure it wasn't as bad as Riku made it sound, and he just felt guilty Lightning had to suffer again. Surely it wasn't his fault.

"I left to go after Maleficent myself," Riku started lowly, his eyes staying on Lightning. "Light warned me, but I didn't listen. Because of that, Maleficent got a hold of her when I wasn't around, and then tried using her to trap me." He frowned and shook his head. "But it didn't work."

Ven grunted in surprise, looking back down at Claire. He noticed one of her arms draped over her stomach, and he moved to hold that hand. He pulled it closer to him and held onto it, dismayed when Light didn't show any signs of knowing he was with her.

Riku looked up at Terra and the others. "Maleficent managed to get away, and Lightning was too weak to do much on her own. We got separated, but when I found her, she was already nearly unconscious," he explained. "She passed out on me on the way back."

Sora glanced over at Terra, seeing that he apparently didn't know what to say even though he asked the question. He didn't know what to say either...Unfortunately, Riku was right when he said it was his fault. Why would he rush off to fight Maleficent in the middle of the night? And with Lightning in his care? That was bizarre.
