A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"And normal people are asleep at night," Lightning said, referring to Riku as she kept her eyes shut. Why was he still awake? Judging by the darkness of the room, it must have been pretty late. Or early, depending on whether or not it was morning.

"I'm not exactly normal," Riku said, referring to multiple things. His life was anything but that. It got pretty close sometimes, but it never truly would be. He moved toward the window quietly, looking outside as he stuff his hands in his pockets.

"Not exactly," Lightning agreed without looking over at Riku. He was a Keyblade warrior, and the hero of many worlds. And, she supposed, her hero, since he saved her from Maleficent...twice? Three times? She lost count, and she couldn't think clearly right now because of how terrible she felt.

"Hmph," Riku hummed, smirking a little. Lightning was thinking about his life as a Keyblade warrior, just like anyone else would have. He not only thought about that, but his time in Darkness too. It shaped who he was, and unfortunately, some parts weren't the best, his temper being one of them. He hoped Lightning didn't change like he did; she didn't need to change because of accidents that were caused by him.

"How long?" Lightning asked after a few moments, though she didn't really want to hear the answer. She hoped that she had only been out for one night, but it felt as if it were longer than that. And the Darkness still was getting to her. Ugh.

Riku turned his head, his eyes leaving the moonlit window to look at Lightning. He figured she was talking about being unconscious, so he answered. "A little over two days," he said, his smirk fading. Ven was incredibly worried.

Lightning only nodded faintly against the pillow. Over two days. Well, at least Riku wasn't an idiot this time; he didn't run off to fight Maleficent while she was unconscious. At least, that was the vibe she got. Was the witch still alive, even? Light just assumed she was, since she was such a pain in the butt.

Riku turned his head to look back out at the world outside the window, the moon bright enough tonight that he could see a few houses down. Nobody was lurking, and the only Darkness he could sense was that coming from Lightning. He didn't like it, but it was reality.

"Did you at least kill her?" Lightning asked of Riku, furrowing her eyebrows slightly at the reference to the witch who was responsible for her weakness. Riku had set out to kill her, and things didn't exactly go as planned. He should have at least put an end to her after all that trouble.

"Her Heartless lackeys did the fighting for her," Riku said with sudden distaste, frowning at the thought of Maleficent. "She got away while I was busy with them." That coward. She acted high and mighty, when she was no more courageous than Pete.

Figures, Lightning thought, not surprised. Maleficent never seemed to die, from what she heard. But since she was still alive, Light would have extra motivation to recover quickly. I'll kill that witch.

Riku leaned against the wall next to the window, closing his eyes. He was tired of this, chasing Maleficent. It was an endless game of cat and mouse. She did enough harm in his life, and was just getting started with Lightning's, and Ven, Aqua, and Terra's since burning their house down. Riku didn't want her doing anymore damage.

"I call dibs next time," Lightning said, opening her eyes and looking across the room. "Maleficent's mine." She was sick of this hag making her look (and feel) like a pathetic damsel in distress. That wasn't what she was, at all. And Maleficent would realize that soon enough.

"Heh." Riku smiled a little. "Good. She's not expecting you; she thinks I'll be the one to hunt her down again." He wanted to kill her for all she'd done to him, but he never got the chance. He always missed it. Maybe he wasn't supposed to...

"Right," Lightning said, though her voice showed doubt. Maleficent seemed to know everything they did before they did it. If Lightning went after her, then it would probably be a trap.

"Don't believe me?" Riku asked, keeping his eyes closed as he leaned against the wall. He could tell by Light's tone of voice that something was on her mind.

"I don't know what to believe," Lightning said softly, shutting her eyes. She curled up under the blankets, still cold. She believed Maleficent was a threat worth pursuing, but she didn't know how to pursue this type of enemy. First, of course, she would make sure Ven was safe. In the end, it didn't matter what happened to her as long as he was safe.

Riku didn't know how to respond to that, so he stayed silent. Thinking about it, he guessed he didn't know what to believe in either. Everything was a mess.

Lightning tried to move so that she could see how strong she was, but she had a problem when her fingers only twitched. That was it? That was all she could do? She furrowed her eyebrows, frustrated. It would take more than a day to recover from this.

"Get some sleep," Riku said, opening his eyes and pushing himself away from the wall. "Ven will be here to see you in a few hours." It was already morning, anyway.

"I'm not tired," Lightning responded without moving. She couldn't move, even if she wanted to. It was pathetic. She had never suffered an injury like this, one that couldn't be cured. It was going to drive her nuts.

Riku shrugged as he headed toward the door. "Okay, then don't sleep," he said quietly. He was exhausted, having only gotten a few hours of sleep a night, or during the day when the others were here. He hadn't slept well the past few nights at all.

Okay, I won't, Light thought, opening her eyes and staring across the room again. She had a feeling Riku would, though; she noticed he seemed tired before. But...she didn't want to be alone. How childish was that?

"Need anything?" Riku asked, stopping by the door. He would get her something if she needed it, but if not, he was going to try and get a few hours of sleep so he could be up by dawn.

"I'm fine," Light said, looking from the wall to the floor. She could take care of herse--Or no, she couldn't. She lightly curled a first on the pillow, frustrated. She didn't like being needy.
