Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku only smirked. "Hmph. As if you haven't figured it out," he said. He caught onto her tone, and knew that Lightning didn't need an answer. But he had his own retorts.

"Hm," Light hummed, smiling faintly at Riku's comment. Obviously that was sarcasm, because she had it all figured out. Or, actually, maybe she didn't. Riku could be unpredictable. But she knew that he liked to be right.
Riku stood up and stretched, lifting his hands above his head. He then heard barking from the other side of the house, and he sighed, lowering his arms. "I'm comin', I'm comin'," he said lowly, knowing that Jasmine needed to go out. He started toward the doorway, rubbing the back of his head.

Light watched Riku go for a few steps before she glanced down at the floor and saw the pillow there. When had that gotten knocked down? She reached down and picked it up, also shifting her position on the couch so that she was laying down with her head by Riku's empty spot.
Riku stopped at the door and turned around, looking over at Lightning. "Need anything?" he asked. He was still her caretaker; he had to put her first.

"I'm alright," Light said without looking up, the girl lifting a hand to tuck back her hair. She always gave Riku that response, and most of the time when he asked if she needed anything, she didn't ask for anything. She didn't want to depend on him too much.
Riku kept his eyes on Lightning for a moment until he nodded. He then turned, walking out of the room to go take care of Jasmine.

Lightning lifted a hand to the pillow, not even taking up her whole side of the couch as she curled up. She knew that it wasn't cold in the house, but she was always chilly these days. There was no blanket in reach, though, so she would deal.
Riku opened the back door for Jasmine, leaving it open to let in some fresh air. It was still afternoon, so the sun was out and it was nice outside. He leaned against the door as he looked outside, seeing Jasmine running around the backyard. He hadn't been outside in a few days; he missed it a little. But it didn't matter what he wanted. Lightning came first.

Light glanced over at the window, seeing the sun shining in. She propped herself up and carefully stood up, still a little unstable on her feet. Regardless, she walked over to the window and grasped the sill of it when she was there, looking outside to a warmer world.
Riku closed his eyes as a breeze blew in, and he sighed slightly. He wondered when Lightning would get better; he didn't like to see her suffer. He could tell she didn't like being so dependent or vulnerable, but the Darkness didn't care. It didn't care about anything, or anyone.

"Hm," Lightning hummed, seeing a porch swing right outside the window. That would be a nice place to relax. She released the windowsill but kept a hand against the wall, starting to walk towards the entrance room so she could go out and sit on the porch.
Riku opened his eyes after a few minutes, seeing Jasmine sniffing the ground. His eyes widened when she started digging. "Jazz! Hey!" he hollered. He then whistled, clapping his hands to get her attention. Don't do that!

Lightning managed to make it out the door without collapsing, and upon setting foot outside, she couldn't help but smile faintly at the fresh air. But she was still weak, so she went over to the swing right away and sat down without thinking about what Riku would think when he noticed she wasn't in the living room anymore.
"Get in here," Riku scolded, furrowing his eyebrows as Jasmine entered the house. He shut the door behind her and just shook his head at her as he started back for the living room. "Hey, Light," he called softly, entering the room. But he stopped short, his lifting an eyebrow. Wait a second... Where was she?

Light brought up her legs, sitting indian-style while still leaving room beside her. It was a nice day; why hadn't she thought about coming outside sooner? And maybe the fresh air and sunlight would do her some good. She felt like a prisoner inside, anyway.
Riku turned his head, looking around, but that was when his eyes fell on the window. Just outside, he could see Lightning sitting on the porch swing. He smiled a little without thought, seeing how pleased she looked. Why hadn't he thought of taking her outside sooner?

Lightning looked towards the beach, not noticing Riku watching her from inside. She turned her head and lightly rested it against the chains of the swing, one of her hands coming up to grip them. She was tired and sick of feeling exhausted, but at least she was good enough to get herself outside. That was better than nothing.
Riku turned on his feet, tearing his eyes away from the window as he started out of the room. He walked into the entryway and approached the door, opening it and stepping out.

Lightning heard and saw the door open, and she turned her head to look over there. Riku, of course. She hadn't thought about him for a few minutes, thinking about her own predicament.
Riku shut the door behind him and looked over at Lightning. He leaned his shoulder against the side of the house for a moment as he looked over at her, tilting his head. "You can't get rid of me that easily," he said. This was his house after all; if she was trying to escape him, she had to do a lot better than that.

Light laughed once, a faint smile gracing her lips. "I knew I should have made a run for it," she said. Of course, she was only teasing; she hadn't come outside to get away from Riku. She had just wanted some fresh air.
Riku rolled his eyes and shook his head, thought his sight fell back on Lightning again. At least she was being a little light-hearted. If he were her, he would have been aggravated for being so...weak. Or maybe she was, and she was just covering it up.

Light glanced away from Riku after a few moments, looking across the porch. Why did she just joke around like that when she was in a bad mood? Was she in a bad mood? She didn't even know, because around Riku, things were...different. That was the only way she could describe it.
Riku pushed himself away from the wall and walked toward the swing, hearing his dull footsteps against the porch. He sat down in the space Lightning left, whether consciously or subconsciously he'll never know. Regardless, the swing rocked back and forth a little from his weight, the boy keeping his gaze forward for the moment.
