Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora couldn't help but look down at the ground when he was in the air, seeing the Unversed everywhere he looked. Leon...guys...be careful, he thought, concerned for his other friends who had to protect Hollow Bastion. He didn't want to lose any of his friends in this fight; that would break his heart.
Riku flew across the town alongside Sora and Roxas before he spotted something--no, someone--down below. "Hey! Dark Depths, two o' clock!" he directed his friends. Looks like they found their first target.

Sora looked down in the correct direction, his eyebrows furrowing at the sight of one figure in that area. He couldn't tell if it was Xehanort or Vanitas from their distance, but he was about to find out. He grunted slightly, starting to lower his elevation so he could land down in that area.
Roxas followed Sora's lead, starting to steadily guide his Glider toward the area that Riku pointed out. There was definitely someone there, and they didn't give off a good vibe. It had to be either Xehanort or Vanitas.

When they were near the area, Sora jumped down off his glider, falling a few yards before his feet touched down on the ground and his Keyblade appeared in his grasp. He frowned at the person who was in front of him, able to see the figure now that they were closer. Vanitas.
Riku dismissed his Glider and jumped down onto the ground beside Sora, frowning behind his helmet. Vanitas was the one he'd spotted...and he was reeking of Darkness. Worse than before.

Sora locked his jaw, disgusted with Vanitas and the Darkness that he was stirring. His Unversed were going for innocent people in town, and that wasn't alright with him. Vanitas needed to be defeated, immediately.

"About time you showed up," Vanitas said darkly his back to the three Keyblade wielders. "Chumps like you take forever to follow clues." He turned around then, his mask fading away to reveal his face. His gold eyes fell on the trio in their armor, which only made him smirk. "And look at you now. All heroic in your costumes. Great choices."

Roxas ground his teeth together behind his mask, his grasp tightening on his Keyblade. Vanitas was definitely somebody they needed to defeat. His pride was far too high for Roxas's liking.

Now that we're here, you can get rid of all the Unversed in town, Sora wanted to say, but he kept his mouth shut. Vanitas was pure Darkness; he wouldn't have sympathy for innocent people.
Vanitas only let his eyes glance from one warrior to the other. "I hope you liked my little diversion," he said when he didn't get any response, not that he really expected one. "This puny town fell to Darkness once. It can most certainly do it again. But this time, it'll be under my Unversed, not those pathetic Heartless."
  • Author
"Shut up!" Sora snapped, speaking up before he could stop himself. How could Vanitas talk about such a nice town as if it were nothing?! Not only did that infuriate him, but he hated looking at Vanitas's face since the two of them looked so much alike but were so different.

Vanitas laughed, not at all affected by Sora's outcry. "So the boy's got guts," he said in mock-surprise. "I was wondering which one of you was going to speak up first. The one who fell to Darkness, a much weaker version of me, or the Ventus look-a-like."

"That's Roxas!" the Nobody said roughly, agitated by Vanitas's attitude. He was too caught up in his own game to realize that with that kind of ignorance, he could actually lose this battle.

"I am not a version of you," Sora spat, grinding his teeth from behind his mask. He and Vanitas unfortunately looked alike, but he was no version of Vanitas. There was no way he would directly be connected to someone so wicked.
"That's where you're wrong, Sora," Vanitas said, knowledge in his eyes. "Thanks to our dear friend Ventus, we are in a way related. After all, why else would we hold the same features?" He arched an eyebrow at the boy in the blue armor, expecting an intelligent counter. However, he doubted he would get one; from what he'd been told, Sora wasn't the brightest one of the bunch.
  • Author
Sora didn't bother answering Vanitas's question, the boy having already said why they look alike. It was because Sora had helped out Ventus when his heart was wounded. Alright, so they were connected. But that wasn't going to last for long; Vanitas would be gone soon enough.
Vanitas's eyebrow lowered to normal level when he didn't get a response. "Hmph," he grunted, a smirk on his lips again. "Now that I've witnessed Kingdom Hearts in its true form, you should be wise enough not to argue with me." His voice started to grow more evil, more satisfied with his story. "It granted me with so much knowledge, as well as my comrade, that we needed to conquer the worlds. And now that we have it, and along with the strength and power passed over to me, I will finally defeat Ventus and forge the X-blade entirely! The worlds will be mine to rule!"

"Not while we have a say in it!" Sora said, pointing his Keyblade at Vanitas after he took a small step forward. He didn't care how much wisdom or power he gained through Kingdom Hearts; he would defeated. He had to be.

Vanitas's expression remained. "Now what did I say about that confidence?" he reminded Sora, referring to the Islands when Sora said he would defeat him. He then chuckled darkly before taking a few steps backward, his mask forming back over his head. He paused at the edge of the Dark Depths cliff before jumping back, heading off the ledge and down to the Great Maw.

Roxas grunted in surprise, his grasp on his Keyblade loosening. Vanitas...he was getting away! He already knew what needed to be done, and he was sure Sora and Riku were thinking along the same lines as he was. Keyblade Gliders. Now.

  • Author
Sora was already running forward when he heard Roxas grunt, and he threw his Keyblade like he had before. It spun through the air and transformed into a glider, and when he sensed it coming, he jumped into the air, the glider under his feet when he landed. They had to get Vanitas!
Riku threw his Keyblade into the air, his Glider appearing in only seconds. He jumped onto it and gunned it forward, zipping across the space that had been between him and the cliff's edge, in which he immediately dived down to go after Vanitas.
  • Author
Sora set his Keyblade for a great decline, though he didn't have trouble keeping his balance. He saw Vanitas in his vision, but then his eyes went to the center of the area, where another figure was standing. Master Xehanort. And then rushing in on the opposite side of where Sora, Riku and Roxas were coming from were the other three Keybladers.
Vanitas ran quickly toward the center of the area, aware that the three Keyblade warriors were right behind him. As he sprinted across the Great Maw, he felt satisfaction in knowing that all of them were here, including Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. He could see them just beyond Xehanort, and he was ready to get this going.
  • Author
Ventus skidded to a halt a few yards away from Xehanort, aware that Terra stopped a little bit in front of him and to the side. Xehanort...he had lured them here, and he could see why. This place was perfect for him to use his powers of raising and moving earth. And behind him, Vanitas was coming in, and so were Sora, Riku, and Roxas.

Aqua came to a stop on the other side of Terra, her strict eyes glaring at Xehanort when she realized that they had walked into a trap. Not only did she know it because of the look on the old man's face, but because of who was coming in on the other side. The boys were being lured in by Vanitas...

Roxas flew slightly behind Sora, trailing Vanitas's path. He'd gotten a lot faster after coming in contact with Kingdom Hearts, which wasn't good, since he was a fast foe to begin with. How much strength did he have?

  • Author
Sora saw Vanitas near Xehanort by this time, and so he stopped his glider when he was a couple of yards away from the pair. He jumped down and his Keyblade automatically appeared in his hand, his glider disappearing as he stared at his enemies.
