Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning felt her confusion deepen when Riku used her old name, and she felt like it showed on her expression. What was that supposed to mean? Did he want her to become that happier version of herself again? Was that what he was going to ask of her? ...Or was it something else?
Riku's smile melted away after a minute, and he just looked at her. "All I ask...is that you trust me," he said softly. If she could do that, she would be letting him in. He already said he wouldn't back off, and if he got hurt...he got hurt. It would be for helping a friend. Someone important, to him.

Lightning looked to the wrist that Riku was still holding onto, the girl also aware of his hand on her shoulder. She did trust him...couldn't he see that? He knew a lot of her dark secrets. "...I already do," she said softly.
Riku kept his eyes on Lightning's for a little longer at that, feeling...pleased. "Then can I ask for another favor?" he said to her softly, looking down a little. There was something he wanted, but he wasn't really sure how to ask for it without...sounding weird.

Light looked back up at Riku at the question, her eyes finding his. She nodded faintly, though she didn't know what he could possibly want to ask of her. She supposed that she did owe him, though, since he saved her life more than once lately.
"...Don't run away again," Riku said, voice low and soft. If Lightning did that, it would mean she wasn't only avoiding her problems, but leaving. He...didn't want that.

Light couldn't help but avoid Riku's gaze again, looking at his hand that gripped her wrist. Was that even possible? She had run for so long, she wasn't sure if she knew how to stop. She knew she had to face this head on, but how?
Riku lowered his gaze to where Lightning's was, and once he saw that he was still gripping her wrist, he let go. His hand came down to his side and he pulled his other back from her shoulder. "Unless...that's too much."

"I'll think about it," Light said softly, lowering her hand and swaying a little once Riku let go of her shoulder. She had become increasingly aware of how fatigued she felt for standing so long, but she hadn't spoken up because of the conversation.
"Right..." Riku answered, nodding a little. He guessed that was all he could ask for, given how hardheaded and difficult Lightning could be.

Light didn't lower her hand all the way before she lifted it back up, her fingers in her hair lightly. "I feel dizzy," she said softly, looking down towards the ground. She was pushing herself too hard; she needed more time to recover.
Riku blinked at that, and he lifted a hand to Light's shoulder. "You gonna faint?" he asked. If she was, he would take her back upstairs. She needed to lie down anyway; he shouldn't have kept her standing this long.

Light shook her head faintly, shutting her eyes so everything didn't spin. "I don't know," she responded honestly. She'd try her best not to faint, because obviously it wasn't a pleasant experience.
Riku turned his head, seeing that the door was only a step away. Wordlessly, he stepped away from Lightning and turned the knob, pushing the door open. He then moved back to her and tucked his arms around and under her, picking her up. It was time for her to go back inside.

Light shouldn't have been surprised when Riku scooped her off her feet; he had been doing that a lot lately. "Show off," she murmured, taking her hand away from her head and laying it on Riku's shoulders. She was actually being humorous now, even if she did feel terrible. It seemed like Riku went out of his way sometimes to pick her up and use his strength.
Riku smirked a little and glanced down at her. "You're welcome," he said quietly before he then walked off the porch and stepped inside the house, making sure that Lightning didn't hit her head.

Lightning hummed, leaning her head on Riku's shoulder in weakness. Riku had to know that she was thankful for this, though he was a bit over the top sometimes with his methods. She probably could have at least tried to walk.
Riku stopped once he was past the door, and he grunted a little as he shut it with one foot. He then continued forward, approaching the stairs. Jasmine was by his feet, and he took it slow in caution. "Jazz," he said in warning. "No." If she tripped him up, especially going up the stairs, there would be some serious trouble.

Lightning stayed silent, though she was still conscious. Jasmine was bothering Riku? Somehow, that didn't surprise her. Jasmine seemed like the kind of dog who craved attention all the time, even when the master was busy.
Riku took the first step up, but grunted when he saw that Jasmine had climbed the steps in front of him. "Jazz. Down," he ordered firmly, securing his grip on Lightning a little more. The dog looked at him and bowed her head, and then hurried down the steps. Riku could hear her nails click against the wood floor and he sighed, starting up the steps again.

Light didn't bother opening her eyes when she heard Jasmine scurry off, though she did have the energy to now. She felt better, now that she wasn't standing anymore. She guessed that she was just tired, still.
Riku went up the stairs and started down the hall, holding Light securely to his chest. He turned sideways and stepped through the door so Light wouldn't hit her head, not that she could, since it was against his shoulder. He approached the bed in silence and leaned down, starting to set her down on the mattress.

Lightning brought her arm back from around Riku's shoulders when he set her down, her hand briefly running over him. "Thanks," she said softly, looking up at him.
"Mm," Riku hummed, nodding a little as he took his arms back. That small touch he felt... It shouldn't have sparked what it did. He looked away from Lightning at the feeling, knowing that he couldn't let it control him. Not now. He needed to focus on helping her get better.

Light glanced down at the blankets on the edge of the bed and grabbed them before she started laying down, also pulling them up to cover her. She knew Riku was going to tell her to sleep, and maybe she would actually do what he said this time without fighting. She was sick of fighting.
