A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Lightning forced herself to run through the dim fire, wincing slightly at the painful fire. She couldn't let up, even if she was hurting. She jumped up and swung her blade at Maleficent, not thinking that she saw her and could swing a claw to knock her away.

Riku saw Maleficent's tail coming at him, and he squeezed his eyes shut, prepared for the attack. But it never came. Instead, he heard her cry out in pain. Opening his eyes, Riku saw Lightning, and he knew that she was the one who dealt the blow. But that didn't mean Maleficent was willing to give up just yet.

 

Maleficent turned her head, looking down at Lightning after the attack was dealt. She then snapped at her, wanting to get such a pest away from her.

Lightning stumbled backwards to avoid the snap from the dragon, unfortunately stepping back into some fire. She cried out and then jumped back out of the fire, sinking down to one knee because of how strong the dark fire was.

"Lightning," Riku cried, pushing himself to his feet. He grunted, leaning over a little at the pain he felt on one side of his body. He stumbled forward a few steps and opened his hand, summoning his blade back to him, but it was too late. Maleficent's tail wrapped around him, and he cried out when his arms were pinned to his side. He squirmed, trying to get out of the hold, but it was too strong.

Lightning had no choice but to take a moment and cure herself, and once she was in the mode, she stayed there out of concern for Riku. She looked at him with wide eyes, not certain of what to do. Riku, get out of there!!

"Let me go, you ugly--ah!" Riku cried out, but only to feel pain as Maleficent tightened her hold. He squeezed his eyes shut as his injuries burned, feeling his arms get pushed even more to his body. His grasp on Way to Dawn started to loosen, and he grunted in pain. What was she doing!?

Lightning stepped forward closer to Maleficent, sword tightly in her grasp. She looked over at Riku and saw his condition, and how he was in pain. But she couldn't save him from suffocation...And if she tried to attack Maleficent and she didn't deal a critical blow, then the witch would kill Riku!!

"Light!" Riku cried, opening his eyes to see her not too far off. She had to do it, she had to kill Maleficent. But the witch seemed to know what he was referring to, because she tightened her hold on him, and he cried out in pain, something snapping from within him. His grasp on his Keyblade was done at this point, and he dropped it. It clattered to the ground before disappearing.

"Maleficent!" Lightning hollered, her voice demanding the witch's attention. She knew now that she only had one choice...One that she wasn't pleased to make. But she couldn't kill Maleficent in time to save Riku, so she had to do something else. She had to give in.

The witch, who had been pleased to witness Riku in such pain, turned her head, her green eyes finding Lightning not too far off. She kept her tight hold on Riku, even if her attention was elsewhere.

"I'll do it," Lightning called up, referring to something the two of them spoke of earlier in the battle. "I'll...become your servant." She furrowed her eyebrows, glaring up at the witch. She had more to say than that, but she needed to make sure she had Maleficent's attention so she didn't squeeze Riku any tighter.

"No!" Riku hollered, grunting a little as he fought his pain. "Lightning, don't!" He winced when Maleficent roared at him, simultaneously squeezing him again with her tail. His eyes closed, but then they opened, finding Lightning again. She couldn't... She couldn't do that. Not for him!

Lightning stared up at Maleficent, though she was alarmed when the dragon roared at Riku. "I won't betray you," she said, lowering her sword to her side. "Just...let him live." She had to do this, to save his life.

"Don't..." Riku tried, though he grunted at the pain in his side. "Don't you dare, Lightning! Don't do this for me!" He wouldn't be able to take it. She was not going to be a slave of Darkness, not to Maleficent. He wouldn't allow it!

 

Maleficent ignored Riku, instead snorting in response. So the girl would accept her offer? Very good. Very good, indeed.

"...No tricks or deception this time," Lightning said, furrowing her eyebrows as she looked up at Maleficent. "I swear, let Riku walk away from this and I'm all yours." She was actually being truthful, as she said, not being deceptive.

Riku saw Maleficent look over at him, and even he could tell that she held wonder in her eyes. He only glared at her before looking to Lightning, the expression on his face completely changing. He wouldn't let her do this. She wasn't going to throw away her life for him...

 

Maleficent, being the dark, evil person that she was, squeezed Riku one more time. He was such a fool, and such a parasite, always coming to ruin her life and her evil plans. When he hollered in pain, she felt pleased, feeling another one of his bones crack underneath her grip. She started to loosen it, however, preparing to change back so she could give her orders to her new slave.

"Let him go now!" Lightning roared when Riku cried out in pain. "Or the deal's off!" She had to save Riku before he was hurt too badly; he saved her so often lately...she had to repay the favor. Even if it cost her her freedom.

Riku suddenly felt the grip on him disappear, and he collapsed on the ground. He gripped his sides and opened his eyes, seeing the large dragon in the room begin to fade away. Instead, the witch took its place, showing herself for who she truly was.

 

"Patience, my child," Maleficent said, only a few feet away from Riku now that she was back to normal. "How could I refuse such a wonderful bargain?" She smiled evilly, mostly because there was no way she could refuse. It was her deal after all.

"Since you gain so much, I'll make another demand to make things more fair," Lightning said, glancing at Riku before she looked back to Maleficent. She wanted one more thing right now. "Let me heal him." He was so hurt...

Maleficent looked over at Riku, her eyes turning hard at the sight of him. "Are you sure you would rather do that than see him cringe?" she asked, her eyes stuck on the pathetic boy. "Such a pitiful sight, though I must admit it gives me great pleasure to witness him cringe from such injuries I myself have dealt to him. He's always deserved a good beating for his betrayal to me."

 

Riku squeezed his eyes shut, grunting at how much he was hurt. He ground his teeth together to prevent himself from screaming, not able to find the strength to summon his blade and cast Cure himself. That evil, no good, ugly, rotten...

"Maleficent," Lightning said lowly, tightening her grip on her gunblade. "I said I'd be your servant if you let him live. He's not going to live in this condition, so unless you let me heal him, he'll die and our deal is off. So think quickly or the deal of a lifetime is out of your reach."

Maleficent only smiled at Lightning. "I believe I can spare a few minutes," she said, starting to walk toward the center of the large room. "After all, we have all eternity, my dear." She had only a few minutes, so it was best she did her deed now.

Lightning noticed Maleficent walk away from Riku, and she took her opportunity then instead of focusing on what the witch said. She ran over to him and knelt down by him, putting a hand on his shoulder and keeping her gunblade in her grasp so she could use magic. She immediately focused on the spells, casting a few small Cure spells in a series to heal him.

Riku kept his eyes shut, though his tense form relaxed as the spells were casted on him. His jaw unlocked and he released a small breath, feeling the burning pain in his cuts and burns heal up. But he groaned and grit his teeth when two of his ribs healed up, popping back into place.

Lightning put her sword away in its case once Riku was taken care of, and she subconsciously bit down on her lip at his groan. He would be alright now...He'd get out of this alive. That was all that mattered right now.
