A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku's hands stayed in fists as he finally opened his eyes, the pain leaving him. He looked up at Lightning instantly, but he was sad...and angry. How could she throw away her life like that, for him? That was so stupid.

Lightning glanced over her shoulder at Maleficent, seeing the witch still in the room. "You have to leave," she said softly. "Before she changes her mind." She could choose to kill the two of them at any time, though Light trusted that her life was worth enough that the witch wouldn't kill her. Not right away, at least.

"I can't," Riku said quietly, putting his hand on the ground and pushing himself up into a sitting position. He couldn't leave Lightning, not with her. Maleficent would ruin her, just like what she did to Riku. It wouldn't be good, not at all.

Light took her hand off Riku's shoulder when he moved, her hands coming back to her lap. "You have to," she said softly. Riku didn't have a choice, because right now, he was still in danger. If he stuck around too long, then Maleficent wouldn't show any more mercy. It would be the end of everything.

"Do you know what she did to me?" Riku hissed once he was sitting up, one arm resting on his propped up knee. He glanced over at Maleficent, whose back was to them. "She's gonna treat you ten times worse." She was going to use Lightning's strength to her advantage, and she wasn't going to go easy on her.

"I know," Lightning responded with a faint nod, her voice still quiet. She understand how cruel Maleficent was, both from hearing Riku's past and seeing her recent actions. She knew what she was getting into when she agreed to be the witch's servant. Or, a better term for it, slave.

"You're crazy if you think I'm just gonna walk out of here," Riku said, furrowing his eyebrows. "I'm not leaving you." Not only would Ventus kill him when he got back, but he would punish himself for such a thing. It would be an idiotic thing to do.

"You have to leave me," Lightning hissed in frustration. "I just made a deal with the devil, and I can't back out of it. Not while you're still in danger." She should have expected Riku to pick a fight over this, but there was no time. If Maleficent decided their time was up, then she could kill him right away. Light wasn't going to let it happen.

Riku's eyes hardened, but they were soft with sorrow at the same time. "Don't do this for me," he said lowly, shaking his head. "Don't throw your life away because of me. What about Ven? What about Serah?" She couldn't do this...

"They're strong enough to take care of themselves now," Lightning declared softly. "You're not right now...So just...go," she said, looking away when her eyes actually became a bit moist.

Riku shook his head then, refusing. No...he couldn't. He couldn't let her give up her freedom for him. Not him. "Lightning," he said, lifting his hand and touching the side of her face.

Light shook her head faintly, feeling Riku touch her face. "Don't let my sacrifice be for nothing," she said quietly. She gave up her life for him...He couldn't waste it all now. He had to leave.

Riku pulled his hand back slightly when she shook her head, but then he set it back, his fingers also curving around her neck. "...But you can't..." he started, then trailing off, his eyes dropping to her shirt. She couldn't do this. He couldn't let her do this.

Light felt herself get surprisingly emotional when Riku touched her that way, the girl blinking to get rid of some moisture as she looked back up at his eyes. "I already did," she declared. It was done.

Riku saw the moisture in the girl's eyes, and he ground his teeth together. "Claire," he said then, his voice showing both his fury at the situation and Maleficent and his sorrow. He pressed his fingers against her neck, also touching her pink hair.

Claire squeezed her eyes shut at how Riku used her real name, and how upset he sounded. That was the second time he ever called her that directly...Why did that make her feel so emotional. She curled her hands into fists in her lap, not sure what else to say.

Riku felt his free hand curl into a fist. It was either he left, or he died, wasn't it? He was going to hate himself for leaving her in the hands of someone so evil, but he had no choice. Riku ground his teeth together briefly before he gazed at Lightning again, and he leaned forward quickly, at the same time pulling her towards him, his lips connecting with hers.

Light was startled when Riku suddenly kissed her, her eyes automatically opening to look at him. But she was already vulnerable, so she didn't fight the kiss even if she didn't feel that strongly about Riku (or so she told herself). She shut her eyes again and stayed still, though moisture gathered behind her eyelids.

Riku's eyes were closed by this time, and he kept his hold on Lightning as he kissed her. But after a small moment passed, he pulled back, though he kept himself close. He opened his eyes and looked at her, not knowing what to say. He...acted on impulse, and...he didn't really know.

Light opened her moist eyes when Riku pulled away, a shaky breath leaving her lips. After that...She really didn't know. She just knew that she didn't want to leave him. But he was the one doing the leaving; she was staying here. She didn't know he felt that strongly for her...

"I..." Riku said, lowering his eyes to the ground, his voice shaking as he kept his hand where it was. "I'm sorry." He wasn't just sorry for his impulsive behavior, but for this whole entire situation. If he hadn't come...she would have still had her freedom. Lightning would have been able to go home.

Light acted on impulse next, wanting just one more thing before Riku left. She leaned forward and hugged him, her head finding his shoulder as she lightly gripped the back of his shirt. No, I'm sorry...she wanted to say. It shouldn't have been like this.

Riku's hand that had been on Lightning's neck moved to the back of her head, the boy's eyes looking down at the ground behind her. This was it, wasn't it? This was goodbye...all because he was so stupid.

Lightning pulled back after a few moments, knowing that they couldn't drag this out any longer. She released Riku's shirt and pulled away, looking at him one last time and preparing herself for what she had to do.

Riku looked to Lightning's face when she pulled back, and he took his hand away from her then. He knew there was something he needed to say...but what was it? Or was there anything else to say? He had to leave now, and leave her to be Maleficent's slave. The boy felt anger rise within him again at that, not knowing that the witch was watching from her place in the middle of the large room.
