Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku wouldn't leave quickly enough for Maleficent's tastes, which meant Lightning had to make him leave herself. "Sorry," she said, a tear leaving the corner of her eye as she suddenly brought up a fist and slugged Riku to knock him out.
Riku was confused at first by what Lightning meant by sorry, but he didn't have time to think about it. He grunted at the hit and everything immediately went black, the boy falling back as he fell unconscious.

Light wiped at the tear that escaped her eye, eyebrows furrowed as she looked to Riku. He was unconscious, without a doubt. She set a hand on his lower arm and looked over to Maleficent, seeing the witch looking at them. "I'll take him home, and then come back," she said, voice tougher than before as she spoke to her enemy.
"Very well," Maleficent said from her place, holding her staff in one hand. "But if you shall not return, our bargain will have ended, and the boy will die." She would kill him herself if the soldier girl didn't return. "Make haste."

"I understand," Lightning said, summoning Odin to her. He appeared in horse form and knelt down for her, the young woman moving to Riku. She grunted and had to hold him bridal-style to put him on the horse, and once he was seated, she got on in front of him and wrapped his arms around herself. His arms were warm and strong, even if he was unconscious...No doubt this was the last time she'd ever feel them around her.
Maleficent watched from where she stood, her eyes on the creature that Lightning summoned. Interesting, she thought, already thinking of the advantage she would have over others with this girl under her control. Everything would turn out well.

Lightning made sure that she had a secure grip on Riku, and she didn't bother using her hands to control the horse. A good rider used their knees to steer the horse. "Hiya," she said softly to Odin, lightly kneeing him as he started forward at a run, the warrior on her way to taking the Keyblade Master home.
Lost in unconsciousness, Riku had no idea that Lightning was taking him home, only to come back to Maleficent's castle and serve under her. His head was against the older girl's back as Odin galloped off. He would wake to find himself in his bed, with the girl he kissed nowhere to be found.

Two weeks later

Lightning walked the streets of Agrabah, blending in well with the crowd. She had on a tan cloak with a hood that covered her hair, and when she got closer to her destination, she'd pull up some fabric to cover the lower half of her face. Maleficent had her doing a lot of dirty work to revive some old villainous friends of hers, and today, Light was to steal some magic powder that would be sold in the Marketplace. She looked up and saw a table full of items, also noticing the small but proud-looking Peddler standing by the table.

Riku flew toward Agrabah in silence, seeing it just up ahead. He summoned a portal and flew through it, arriving in the world's atmosphere within seconds. He and his friends were split up throughout the worlds, since chaos unraveled after the incident with Maleficent. The boy flew past the Cave of Wonders, seeing Agrabah a few miles away. He didn't even want to think about his friends and that whole situation with Lightning; it was depressing.

Lightning stood amidst the crowd for now, focused on the mission but thinking about her situation at the same time. A few days ago, she had a run in with Roxas. He tried talking her out of her situation, but she stood against him. Maleficent had her convinced that if she tried anything dumb, then one of her friends would pay with their lives. That was why she battled Roxas, and, of course, when he lost, she didn't kill him. She just took him home again and then continued with the work Maleficent had given her. This was her life now.
Ven hated Riku now. It was too obvious every time he looked at him. Riku knew why, since he had to tell the others where Lightning was the day he woke up in his bed. Lightning had brought him back, since he remembered her slugging him at the castle. When he told everyone what happened, Ventus had taken his anger out on Riku, pushing and shoving him, screaming in his face. Nobody had said a word, and Riku hadn't done anything to retaliate. He knew he was in the wrong. He always would be.

A gust of sand conveniently blew through the area, giving Lightning a reason to cover her mouth with the fabric. She didn't feel as if she appeared like a thief, and that would work to her benefit. If she could subtly work her way to the table, then she could grab the pouch and walk away before anybody noticed. Subtly helped her on many worlds; it wouldn't fail her now. She just had to stay focused on the mission instead of dwelling on the Keyblade wielders, and Ven, and Riku.
Riku lowered his glider just outside Agrabah, dismissing it and his armor once he was on his feet. Sora tried talking to him after Ven left him standing on the beach, defeated and humiliated. But it was what he deserved, and he told Sora as much when he tried to help out. Nothing could help, not now. Lightning was a slave because of him. There were no excuses.

Lightning worked her way up closer to the table subtly, as if she just wanted to get through the crowd and be on her way. The Peddler was distracted; now was her chance. She strode right by the table and subtly stole the bag that she needed, hiding it in her sleeve as she casually kept walking.
Riku walked in through the gates, seeing that the market was incredibly busy since the last time he was here. Given the chaos that had been taking place on other worlds, he figured this place would be deserted, just like last time. Riku walked through regardless, nobody seeming to pay attention to him, even if he didn't exactly blend in.

"Thief!" the Peddler cried, seeing that his valuable bag was gone. And he saw a person walking away from the table, in the tan outfit. "That thief just stole my merchandise!" he cried loudly, getting the attention of everybody in the Marketplace.

Lightning looked over her shoulder when the man called out that his item was stolen, and she saw him pointing at her. She stood still and saw that none of the natives seemed to know how to react. But in a moment, they would. They'd hunt her down, most likely.

Riku stopped walking and looked to the Peddler before his eyes fell on the person he was pointing at. Given the attire, it looked like a native. He saw that no one else knew how to react, so he started over in that direction, pushing through a thick crowd.

Lightning started running while the crowd was still, not noticing one person working their way through. When a few men started towards her, she jumped up onto a ledge, and then a higher one, and then another high one. She had to get out of here.
"Move!" Riku ordered, pushing through the natives. His eyes stayed locked on the thief and once he was in a clearing, he ran after them. He saw that the men that had originally gone after them were stuck at the ground. He pushed past them and jumped up, grabbing onto the first ledge and pulling himself up. It looked like he would be the one to go after the thief.

Light didn't hear the sounds of anyone pursing her, not that she expected to, since nobody here was as agile as she was. Even in this disguise, she was fine. She reached the top of the wall and ran a ways, pulling the cloak away and putting the pouch in the pack she had strapped around her leg.
Riku heard the murmurs of people below, but he didn't stop to hear them. He grunted, jumping up another few ledges before he pursued the thief. This wasn't the kind of chaos he had expected, but it was something.

The cloak covered Lightning's clothes again once the pouch was safe, and she heard noise behind her. She turned to look over her shoulder and grunted when she saw who it was. Riku. But he couldn't recognize her, not with her face covered this way. It's better that way, she thought, running along the top of the wall to keep away from Riku. She'd slip away from him and then make her true escape off this world.
"Hey!" Riku called, running across the top wall as he continued after the thief. He saw them look back and spot him, but that didn't mean he was going to stop. He was the only one agile enough to go after the person, so he was doing just that. Of course, he wouldn't summon his Keyblade unless he was threatened. Until then, he would just be in pursuit.

Lightning grit her teeth at Riku's call, and it was clear then that he didn't recognize her when he briefly saw her face. She was glad for that, and while she ran, she just kept thinking back to Roxas. She dealt with him, so she could deal with Riku too. But only if she didn't get away. She jumped off the wall and landed in an emptier part of town, grunting and then continuing to run.
