Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku saw the ledge coming up and he grunted, jumping off of it. He landed in a crouched position in another section of Agrabah, but he immediately forced himself to his feet. The thief wasn't getting away from him.

Back off! Lightning wanted to holler, but she stayed silent. Riku couldn't hear her voice without knowing who she was. She burst out the doors to go to the outside of town, a horse waiting for her. She had no trouble getting onto it and then spurring it forward, towards the desert.
So that's how you wanna do it? Riku thought with distaste, summoning his Keyblade to his hand. He continued running as he called to his glider, jumping onto it when it was low enough and appeared in front of him. He then took off across the desert, his glider surely faster than a horse.

Lightning spurred her horse forward, holding onto the reins as she made the horse run faster. Glancing over her shoulder, she noticed Riku getting closer. It didn't look like she was getting away, not that easily. She cast Aero, a small sandstorm starting behind her because of the wind spell. Hopefully that would blind Riku so that he would lose sight of her.
Riku hit his armguard immediately at the sight of the sand, and his helmet appeared over his head just in time to block it. But...they just casted Aero. Who was he after?

Darn it! Lightning thought in anger, glancing back and seeing Riku in his armor now. That was the only spell she could cast at a distance, other than...Thunder, she silently cast, sending Lightning bolts in Riku's direction.
Riku grunted at the shocks sent through him, hurting even more because of his metal armor. He lifted a hand while in his stunned state, shooting out blue orbs of his Dark Aura spell. He didn't aim for the thief, but for the horse, hoping to spook it.

Lightning's horse suddenly stopped, rearing on its hind legs when a spell spooked it. Stupid horse! she thought in frustration, trying to spur it forward. The Cave of Wonders was just ahead; surely she could lose Riku in there. She jumped off the horse but stepped into a trap, a pool of quick sand appearing under her feet. She gasped and sank in a little, struggling to get out.
Riku saw that his plan worked, and he steered his glider so he hovered just in front of the pool of quicksand. "Who are you?!" he demanded, staying on his mode of transportation. With the tan cloak, he couldn't exactly tell.

Light looked up at Riku, furrowing her eyebrows. She turned and grabbed onto a root stuck in the sand, using it to pull herself out of the quick sand. She had to get out of here...
Riku jumped off his glider, which vanished and appeared in his hand as the Keyblade. He pointed it at the thief, glaring from behind his helmet. "Answer me!" he ordered. The silent treatment wasn't going to work, not when this person seemed to have magical abilities.

Light stood up fully and stepped away from the quicksand, also taking a step backwards to get away from Riku. She lifted her hands slightly but remained silent, still hoping to escape into the cave.
"Remove the hood," Riku ordered with a small jerk of his head. Maybe it was someone he knew, or perhaps a new villain. Either way, they weren't getting away.

I'm not going to be able to make it into the cave, Lightning thought, knowing she'd have to run past Riku to get there. He'd hurt her in the process. She was stuck, and she had no choice but to do was he said. She pulled the fabric away from her mouth and then lifted her hands, removing the hood as Riku requested.
Riku's eyes were currently narrow with suspicion and anger at the thief before him, but once that hood came back, everything about his expression changed. His eyes widened, and he grunted in surprise. "L-Lightning?" he said in disbelief. No way.
  • Author
Lightning noticed the surprise in Riku's voice but not his facial expression since his mask was still on, and she only nodded faintly to his question. Yes, she was Lightning. Maleficent's servant, sent to this world to steal something essential for her master's purposes. She could tell how surprised he was, but she wasn't as surprised, since she had known who he was before.
Riku lowerd his Keyblade and used his free hand to rip his helmet off, his aqua eyes immediately finding her. What was she doing? Running away, stealing, wearing a disguise? This had Maleficent written all over it.

Lightning took another small step back, not sure how Riku was going to react to her. She knew that she was an enemy to the Keyblade wielders now; Roxas had said as much when she faced him a few days ago. Would Riku try to kill her? That was the duty the Keybladers had now, since she was threatening the worlds.
Riku took a small step forward when Lightning took one back, the boy just looking at her. She...was keeping to her word. "Why are you..." he started, though he stopped short. This was his fault, wasn't it? The reason she was his enemy now. It was because he wasn't strong enough.

Lightning took one more small step back, glancing over her shoulder to see that the horse was running back towards town. She looked back to Riku without saying anything, glad that her bangs currently hid her eyes more than usual. He knew why she was doing this, so it was pointless to answer.
Riku held his helmet loosely in one hand, Way to Dawn the same in the other. "This is my fault," he said, his eyes on hers, or what he could see of them. Everything was his fault, wasn't it? First it was the islands being destroyed, then Xehanort, and now this. I mess up everything!

Light shook her head faintly, not looking away from Riku. "It was my decision," she finally said, speaking for the first time. She chose to sacrifice her life in order to let Riku live his. But now, they were enemies, and he had the strength to destroy her. That was his duty...
"...Shut up," Riku said then, lowering his gaze to the ground. He knew she would say something like that, and he hated the fact that she did. Lightning didn't get it.

Lightning took a small step back again at Riku's words, the tan cloak still covering her new attire. She didn't bother removing it, planning to make a run for it anyway. She and Riku couldn't be together; Maleficent would be mad. And Riku probably didn't want to see her anyway, since they were enemies.
Riku tightened his grip on Way to Dawn in rage, his strong jaw flexing as well. "...Don't say that around me," he said tightly, referring to how Lightning said this was her decision. She should have let him die. That would have been better than seeing this.
