Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning noticed the statue hanging out of a wall and she avoided it, flying through the air and then hitting the water. She held her breath before she went under, but then rose back up a few moments later. She gasped for air, looking around. "Riku!" she hollered in worry.
If Riku were awake, he would have heard the voice. Of course, it would have been fuzzy due to the fact that he was now under the water. But since he wasn't conscious at all, he didn't notice that he was sinking and that water was starting to seep into his armor.

Lightning gasped, seeing a stream of light pouring down from somewhere. And it landed on something in the water, reflecting the light. It was armor. She grunted and swam down into the water, seeing Riku sinking. She swam more quickly and grabbed onto his arm, wrapping it around her shoulder as she swam back up to the surface. She felt herself running out of air because of how long she was under, but she was more concerned for Riku.
Riku didn't notice that Lightning came to rescue him. But if he would have known, he would have felt weak, something he hated. A stupid fall made him pass out, when he should have been smart enough to rotate his body and prepare for what was below.

Light reached the surface and gasped for air, coughing slightly from the water. She immediately swam towards a small piece of land and first dragged Riku onto it before sitting next to him, pulling off his helmet carefully. He was still breathing, right...?
Riku remained unconscious, though his face was only a little wet from the water he fell into, some seeping through his mask. His helmet helped protect him from breathing any in, so he hadn't choked on it. He was still breathing, just not conscious.

Lightning wiped Riku's bangs out of his eyes and then looked towards his chest, able to see his armor rise and fall with his breathing. Thank goodness, she thought, sighing to herself. He was alright. She reached for the sword she slipped back into her case during the fall and shifted into her Medic Paradigm, casting Cure on Riku for any injuries he received from her.
A soft sigh left Riku at the Cure spell, noticing it even while he was unconscious. Even so, he felt some of the darkness start to fade away, as if he was starting to wake up, but slowly.

Lightning looked down at Riku at the sigh, glad that the spell seemed to work. But it was her fault he was hurt in the first place. "I'm sorry," she said softly, setting a hand on the breastplate of his armor as she gazed down at him. This was her fault.
...Lightning? Was that the voice that reached him? Riku couldn't really tell, too lost in the darkness of his unconscious to figure it out. Regardless, he breathed evenly, face emotionless.

"I didn't mean to do this, I just..." Lightning squeezed her eyes shut, moisture appearing behind her eyes. "I hoped you would come to your senses and fight back. You have to at least try to stop me...I can't do it myself right now." If she disobeyed Maleficent, the consequences would be terrible.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed slightly, that voice reaching him again. It was her. It was Lightning. But...what was she talking about? He was still out of his senses. He couldn't remember.

Light opened her eyes, looking back down at Riku. She reached back and pulled out something her sister gave her a while ago, a knife. She kept it closed and set it in Riku's open hand, carefully wrapping his hand around the item. "...Next time, do what you have to do," she said to him even if he was unconscious. "End this." She stood up, knowing she had to leave.
End this? Riku repeated, his hand remaining closed around whatever Lightning just set in his palm. He then remembered that she was the one he had been after, the thief. And they just had a fight, but then he refused to attack her.

Lightning summoned a portal of Darkness, a trick that Maleficent taught her. She started walking across the strip of land to the portal, knowing that Maleficent would severely punish her for being so late with the stolen goods.
Riku turned his head to the side when he heard footsteps, opening his eyes just a little bit. Light? he thought, seeing her walking away...into a a portal? He tightened his grasp on the item in his hand. No, wait...

Lightning vanished into the portal, still soaking wet from saving Riku. Maleficent would be furious when she heard this...The young woman appeared in Maleficent's castle in her home world, this being the place where they stayed since the Keyblade wielders had already tried to ambush them in Hollow Bastion.
Riku saw the portal vanish within seconds and he grunted, grinding his teeth together in frustration. As he released a small breath, he looked down at the item that had been placed in his hand. A knife? To end...Lightning?

One month later

Lightning slept in the room where she stayed in Maleficent's castle, the whole world asleep. It had been a busy month, stealing goods and magic supplies so the witch could do her dirty work. She was planning on regaining control of this world, and it looked as if she would have it. The Keybladers hadn't ambushed this world yet searching for her. Lightning actually managed to avoid them for the most part, but when she met them, she had to fight. She was severely punished for saving Riku in Agrabah about a month ago, and she was fairly certain she still had a scar or two from the beating she received. She shivered under her blankets, curling up more. At least none of the Keyblade wielders killed her yet, though she almost wished they would since she felt so guilty for what she was doing.

Riku sneaked through the broken castle in Enchanted Dominion, hiding behind a crumbling wall as one of Maleficent's minions walked by. It snorted, and Riku recognized it as some sort of pig. Regardless, once it was past, he crept out of the shadows and hurried toward the next set of stairs. He was following Lightning's scent, her Darkness. It'd gotten strong over the last two months, and he used it as a trail that would lead him to her. He had to talk to her.

Light had only run into Riku once again after their last encounter, though she had a feeling that he could track her down easily if he wanted to. He was avoiding her, because he knew that this time around, he had to kill her. She was really threatening the worlds, even worse than she was before. Somebody needed to stop her before it was too late.
Riku hurried quickly down a long corridor, the walls illuminated to a green color due to the flames only Maleficent could produce. The scent he was tracking was becoming stronger and he made sure his footsteps were quiet as he hurried along. He was closer, he could feel it.

Light exhaled a soft breath through her nose, sound asleep. After all the hard work she had done, it was understandable. Maleficent was taking full advantage of her, and she was exhausted. And fighting against the Darkness was hard, too, but she knew she couldn't give her heart to the Darkness. Not after what happened to Riku when he did that.
Riku glanced behind him to make sure no minion was on his tail, and once he realized that he was safe, he approached a large set of double doors. The scent he had been following was stronger here, and he knew it was the right room. Riku pushed it open slowly, hearing a faint creak from the door's lack of use. Peeking inside, he saw a figure in the bed. Lightning.
  • Author
Lightning furrowed her eyebrows slightly at the sound of the creaking, though she didn't wake up. This castle was so old that whenever somebody walked by in the hall, she could hear it. She was used to it by now, having been with Maleficent for about a month and a half. A month and a half of agony.
