A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku shut the door behind him, and once the room was covered in darkness again, he dismissed Way to Dawn; he wouldn't need it. He walked across the room, which surprisingly had carpet, and approached Lightning's bedside. Instead of waking her up, he let his eyes rest on her for a moment. Her Darkness was strong, and it could even be a threat to him. But...he didn't want to think that way.

Lightning 's eyebrows relaxed when she didn't hear anymore noise, and in her sleep, she figured that a guard just walked by the door. She continued to sleep without noticing another presence in the room with her, the presence of a friend. And enemy.

Riku leaned down, putting his hand lightly on her shoulder. "Light," he called softly, making sure to keep his voice down. Maleficent's crow was always flying by, and saw things that weren't meant to be seen; he would be one of them if he wasn't careful.

Light hummed softly in her sleep, feeling the hand that was set on her shoulder. That was the kindest touch she felt in a while, though she was confused about who was with her. That voice couldn't be...Riku?

"Lightning," Riku whispered again, shaking her a little. She needed to wake up, now. He was risking a lot just by being here, and if he was caught... Well, he didn't want to think about it.

Light furrowed her eyebrows when she was shaken, and she forced herself to wake up right away. She peeked her eyes open and blinked when she saw who was in front of her, and whose hand was on her shoulder. It was him. She opened her mouth to say his name, not thinking about being quiet.

Riku lifted his free hand to his lips. "Shh," he shushed her, seeing that Lightning was about to speak. His eyes automatically left her and went to the door, hearing a creaking sound. A snort sounded then, but then the pig (who was obviously the source) was gone.

Lightning glanced towards the door when she heard the noise, and she waited a few moments to make sure that the pig was gone before she looked back to Riku. "What are you doing here?!" she whispered in alarm. He couldn't be here!

Riku rolled his eyes, both of his hands coming back to his sides. "Hello to you too," he replied sarcastically, keeping his voice low. After a month of brooding, he was finally back to his sarcastic self, taking initiative and coming to Lightning.

Light furrowed her eyebrows, a soft sound of disbelief leaving her lips. "Now's no time for joking!" she hissed softly. "If Maleficent finds you here..." She'd give up on Lightning and end her life. And do the same with Riku.

"Do you think I'm an idiot?" Riku asked hoarsely, furrowing his eyebrows. "I wouldn't be caught dead by her. Besides, she's in the west wing." She wasn't anywhere near Lightning's bedroom, thank goodness.

"She has a way of finding out everything," Lightning hissed in return. "There's probably somebody watching us right now!" She woke up a few times to see that annoying bird at the window, watching her.

"You mean 'Diablo'?" Riku asked, turning around to glance toward the window. Thankfully the bird was nowhere to be found. "Stupid bird. It always got on my nerves when I was with her." He lifted a hand to rub his head, sighing. "Anyway, I made sure nobody saw me, okay? We're fine." For now.

"We better be," Light said, furrowing her eyebrows as she pushed herself into an upright position. Riku didn't know how severely she was punished each time she did something Maleficent didn't like. If she found out about this, it might be enough to get her killed.

Riku glanced to the side, seeing a wooden chair nearby. He stepped over and grabbed it before positioning it so he could sit down by Light's bed. He did so, his eyes on her. "We need to talk," he said, not bothering with beating around the bush.

Light curled up her legs next to her under the covers and looked to Riku, nodding slightly. "Obviously," she said. "You wouldn't have sneaked into this castle in the middle of the night for any other reason. Right?" She was actually hesitant to ask that question, knowing that Riku had the duty to kill her.

Riku lifted an eyebrow, but otherwise continued. "I've decided that enough's enough," he said, keeping his voice low. "You need to come back to the islands." With him, tonight. This had gone on for too long.

Light blinked in surprise, having not expected that. "You know why I can't do that," she said, keeping her voice soft. She swore not to betray Maleficent, and if she did do that, then the consequences would be great. The witch would hunt her down until she was dead.

"You either suffer here with her, or you come home with me," Riku said, his arms crossing over his chest. "You can take the chance of actually living and having your friends protect you, or you can just wait for death to come and take you out of your misery. It's your choice." He would choose the former, but Light always seemed to disagree.

"You guys can't protect me," Light said softly. "You've always pointed out how strong she is, and you're right. If I flee, she'll kill you guys." This witch was capable of anything.

"Sora defeated her alongside a duck and a dog," Riku said, thinking of the past. "You think six Keyblade wielders can't handle her?" True, Maleficent had gotten a lot stronger, but so had they... It could work.

"It's too risky," Lightning said, faintly shaking her head. Especially if Maleficent decided to go to the islands to steal her back...a lot of innocent people could die, and Light didn't want to be responsible for those deaths.

Riku leaned forward, his elbows coming down to rest on his knees. "Lightning..." he started, his eyes on her face. "I'm not the only person that needs you back home." He focused on the fact that he was referring to Ven, not that he just confessed a thing or two.

Light looked away, eyes softening when Riku obviously made a reference to her little brother. "I'd put him in danger," she said softly. She couldn't risk hurting him by doing something she knew would lead to disaster. She could never forgive herself.

"...He's worried sick about you," Riku said, leaning forward a little more when Lightning looked away. Ven barely spoke anymore, and it was an awful thing to see. Riku knew it was his fault, since he was the one that triggered this whole thing.
