A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku managed to get Lightning's things before summoning his glider, putting her on it even from the third floor of the castle. He wrapped her arms around him and soared off, disappearing into a portal to go to Destiny Islands. Maleficent would wake up in the morning to see that her super soldier was gone, but he didn't care. Lightning belonged at home.

Lightning awoke the next morning to the sound of birds chirping, that sound something she never heard in Maleficent's castle. She furrowed her eyebrows slightly and peeked her eyes open, though she opened them fully when she saw where she was. Riku's house...

Due to his late-night rescue, Riku was still sleeping, but he wasn't in his room. This morning, he was in Lightning's room, his head against the side of her bed as he sat on the floor. He was still as light a sleep as ever, but he was exhausted, so he was out cold.

Light set her hands on the bed and propped herself up, wide and startled eyes looking around the room. She was in Destiny Islands, and sitting by her bed... "Riku?" she said in fear. He kidnapped her...

Riku grunted at the voice, that small of a thing able to cause him to wake up. His eyebrows furrowed as the sound of birds chirping entered his ears, the boy beginning to wake up.

Light bit down on her lip and laid back down, curling up and facing the opposite direction of Riku. This was bad...really bad...She tried remembering what happened last night, and she could only remember Riku embracing her before she suddenly fell asleep. That hug was just so he could take her away, wasn't it? It wasn't one meant for comfort.

Riku grunted again as he opened his eyes, seeing sunlight shining on the wall. Morning already? Oh well, at least Lightning was still with him...right? The boy turned his head, glancing over his shoulder to see her pink hair against the pillow. He sighed without thought, rubbing a hand over his hair. Good.

Light squeezed her eyes shut, moisture appearing. She was so afraid. Fear was something she learned in the past month or so with Maleficent, and she was so scared about everything. When she was with Maleficent, she knew what would happen. Now she wasn't sure at all what came next.

Riku pushed himself up, but he turned to face the bed. He leaned forward and set his hand on the headboard, trying to get a look at Light's face. Was she awake? Or was she still unconscious?

Light stayed where she was, eyes still squeezed shut when she sensed Riku looking at her. She felt her lip quiver slightly, but she managed to keep her tears inside. What's going to happen now...?

"Light?" Riku called softly, his eyes on her. He thought he saw her lip quivering, but he was still a little groggy; he couldn't be sure.

Light nodded faintly against the pillow, giving Riku a silent response to his unspoken question. She was awake, though she almost wished she wasn't. This was terrible that she was with Riku right now...Now everyone's lives were at risk.

"...You okay?" Riku asked then, his eyes staying on her. Something didn't feel right to him, so he felt he needed to ask. If there was anything he could do, he would.

Light shook her head against the pillow, curling up a little more in sadness. No, she wasn't alright; she knew now that Maleficent would attack her friends. Their deal might even come to an end now, and she could kill her and Riku and Ven at any point. This was terrible.

Riku's eyebrows furrowed, his eyes softening. "What's wrong?" he asked, his voice holding concern. Why wasn't Lightning speaking? Was she upset that he brought her back? That Ven wasn't here?

"This is really bad," Light whispered softly. Wasn't it obvious? Maleficent wasn't just going to let Riku get away with stealing her, if she figured out that was what happened. If she thought Light ran off, then things would be even worse. She swore she would be loyal, and she was...

Riku leaned over a little more, his eyes staying on Lightning's face. "You couldn't stay there anymore," he told her softly. "You were dying." Maleficent was killing her...

"She's going to kill me for letting this happen," Light said softly, shaking her head faintly against the pillow again. Maleficent would be furious once she found out how Riku stole her away...

"No," Riku said, his voice becoming firmer at that. "She won't." He lowered himself to the bed, putting his hand on Light's shoulder. "I'll protect you. Maleficent won't touch you." He would make sure of it; he would die trying.

Light opened her eyes, which were moist with tears of fear and relief. Riku would protect her, but..."She's too strong," she whispered. Maleficent would kill him and then steal her away again, if she didn't just kill her.

"You've got six Keyblade wielders on your side," Riku said, squeezing Lightning's shoulder. "We're too strong as a whole for her. She'll lose." After all the trouble Maleficent caused, he was sure his friends would take out their fury on her.

Light only nodded her head faintly, eyes remaining moist. She couldn't believe how vulnerable she was, not physically, but emotionally. She was a mess...She didn't know how to react to Riku being with her right now.

"Look at me, Light," Riku requested softly, loosening his hold on her shoulder. He needed her to look him in the eye and tell him she believed him.

Light turned her head to look up at Riku, but when she felt some pain in her neck, she rolled onto her back and looked up at him instead. She didn't bother hiding the emotion in her eyes, not putting on a brave face anymore. She was scared, weak Claire again.

Upon seeing the look in Lightning's eyes, Riku reached forward and set his hand on her shoulder opposite him. "Do you trust me?" he asked gently. He needed to know that she at least had faith. He was fighting for her.
