A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light looked up into Riku's eyes through the moisture, and it only took a second for her to answer. "Yes," she said softly. Even after everything, and knowing that he was supposed to kill her for the things that she did, she still trusted him.

Riku nodded a little, squeezing her shoulder. "That's all I needed to know," he replied. As long as she had faith, he would fight. And even if she didn't, he would still fight for her. He had to admit, he cared too much not to.

Light kept her gaze on Riku's eyes, and though she wasn't speaking much, she had something to say. "You didn't use my knife," she stated softly. She had left it with him in Agrabah so that he would understand what he had to do to put an end to everything. Surely he understood, but he still didn't kill her.

Riku shook his head, taking his hand back. "I didn't find a reason to," he replied honestly. Lightning may have intended that she was the one to die at the blade, but Riku didn't think so. He couldn't kill her, even if it was his duty.

Light shook her head faintly in disagreement, though she didn't say anything. Riku did have reason to kill her; she was a criminal who was disrupting world peace. And helping his arch enemy. But he didn't kill her...He saved her.

Riku shook his head at Lightning in disbelief, his expression the same. "You honestly think I could kill you, Lightning?" he asked. There was no way. It was hard enough causing her pain back in Agrabah, and after that, the next time he saw her, he avoided her and acted like he hadn't seen her. He didn't want to hurt her.

"I don't know," Lightning responded softly in honesty. She knew that Riku was devoted to taking care of the worlds, but these days, he seemed devoted to taking care of her, too. After that kiss, she shouldn't have been surprised.

Riku looked away at that, a little upset that her answer was the one he got. She thought he would kill her, after everything? After kissing her? He figured that explained enough.

"You're a Keyblade Master," Lightning stated softly, still looking up at Riku. "And Maleficent is your worst enemy. I thought..." She thought that Riku would despise her for going to the enemy's side and kill her.

"...You thought I would take you out first," Riku said, keeping his eyes on the floor. "You should know me better than that. I don't have the strength to murder friends." He lifted a hand to run over the back of his head. "Not ones that gave up their freedom for me."

"Sorry," Light said softly, referring to the part where Riku said she should have known him better. She just...didn't know what to think. First, that kiss set her off guard, and then Maleficent was feeding her lies about how Riku would kill her because of the crimes she committed. Light had come to believe almost everything Maleficent said to her lately...

"Mm," Riku hummed, though he really didn't want Lightning to apologize. He kept his eyes away from her, eyebrows furrowed as he thought about everything. She trusted him, and yet she thought he would kill her? That didn't make much sense, at least to him.

Light set her hands on the bed on either side of herself as she sat up, looking down at her lap. She wasn't sure what to make of Riku, but he seemed a little...perplexed. Light was too, her thoughts conflicting now. Maleficent had told her certain things that she believed, but her heart believed the opposite. What was going on?

Riku scratched his cheek, not knowing what to say. But he did know that he would still protect her. Lightning's well being was important to him, and to the others. There was no doubt in his mind that everyone would do their best to protect her.

Light glanced over at Riku briefly before she looked to the window, seeing the world outside. She bit down on her lip in nervousness, worried about Maleficent. She wouldn't leave her alone after their bargain, and she knew that she was doing a lot of good work for Maleficent. She'd be there for her soon.

"Sorry...about last night," Riku apologized then while on the topic of Lightning's safety, at least in his mind. "I shouldn't have really resorted to that...but I didn't think I had any other choice." Lightning just needed to come back. He couldn't stand the thought of her being with Maleficent any longer.

"Is that why you hugged me?" Light asked softly, glancing downward at the thought. He just hugged her so that he could catch her when she was vulnerable, right? That's not what her heart was telling her, but...I'm so confused.

Riku closed his eyes, but he opened them a moment later to stare at his hand on the bed. "...Maybe," he said. He guessed it kind of was, since he did use it to his advantage. But it wasn't necessarily the only reason why.

Light nodded faintly in disappointment, eyes also shutting when they got moist again. Of course...Why had she expected anything less? She was the one who made that assumption, after all, and Riku just confirmed that he didn't hug her to give her comfort. He probably didn't know she needed it, since she was so tough before. But now...she wasn't.

Riku caught Light's nod out of the corner of his eye, but he didn't look over. He felt heavy tension in the air now, and he knew why. It was his answer, wasn't it? "...Get yourself cleaned up," he said. "I'll make you some breakfast." Riku pushed himself up from the bed then, subconsciously pulling at his vest.

Light nodded faintly again, opening her eyes and looking to Riku. But she glanced over in the direction of the bathroom then, seeing some items sitting by the doorway. Her old clothes, shoes, and sword. She wasn't sure if she was glad or not Riku picked those up, because now if Maleficent came, she would be expected to fight her. She didn't know if she could do that.

Riku walked out of the room in silence, opening the door before shutting it behind him. His parents were already gone for the day, so the house was quiet except for Jasmine running around downstairs. He knew it had to have been a while since Lightning got a nice, warm breakfast, so he would make her the best thing he could cook.

Lightning took a shower and cleaned herself up like Riku told her to do, and even if he didn't say it, she knew that she was supposed to get changed out of Maleficent's clothes. But that would only make her master more furious when she found her...Regardless, she changed into her old clothes once she was cleaned up, the girl tucking her hair over her shoulder as usual before she headed downstairs.

Riku managed to have the bacon going on the stove, as well as some eggs. He heard the toaster ring not too far down the counter, and he knew the toast was done. He worked in silence, Jasmine lying near the bar stools by the counter. She was watching him in silence, head tilted in curiosity as he did his work.

As soon as Light took a step into the kitchen, Jasmine noticed her. The dog got up and ran over to her, front paws on her legs. She looked down at the pet without knowing what to do, surprised by this greeting.
