Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

In the middle of a heated battle with Vanitas, Sora pointed his Keyblade at the ground and cast a fire spell, hoping to strike his enemy. He had to admit, Vanitas was really tough. Things weren't really against him, but they would be in the future since Vanitas was tiring him out.
Vanitas was about to go in for a strike against Sora, when he suddenly sensed a high amount of heat. His eyes widened behind his mask before he backflipped, barely avoiding the fiery attack. Instead, the male shot his own dark energy orbs at Sora, knowing that they would follow his exact movements unless he managed to avoid them completely.

Sora grunted at the orbs, lifting up his Keyblade and swinging at two of them when they came at him. But the third got past him and hit his shoulder, making him vulnerable for the other ones. He cried out shortly in pain, stumbling backwards and barely managing to stay on his feet.
Vanitas noticed his attack hit, so he didn't hesitate going for another. He ran in, Keyblade at the ready. Sora proved to be a skilled fighter, but Vanitas knew he was better, stronger. Sora would only fail today.

Sora jumped backwards when Vanitas ran at him, the teen getting into a defensive position as he tried to quickly recover. He couldn't let Vanitas get an advantage; if Sora was knocked down, he didn't think any of his friends could back him up.
Vanitas only smirked behind his mask, running a few more steps before jumping up into the air. Once airborne, he twisted and then brought his Keyblade down--hard--where Sora was, preparing to strike.

Sora barely managed to lift his Keyblade in time, feeling Vanitas's Keyblade hit him hard. He couldn't help but get down on one knee from that lone blow, the pressure so strong that he couldn't stay on his two feet.
Vanitas kept both hands on his blade, which was shaking due to Sora's returned pressure. Of course, he only pushed back harder, prepared to take this loser down.

Sora grunted, setting his other hand under the tip of his shaking Keyblade. He tried to set his foot back underneath him again, the teen glaring at Vanitas from behind his mask. This wasn't good...at all.
"You remind me of Ventus," Vanitas told Sora lowly, no strain in his voice from putting pressure on Sora's Keyblade. "You're weak because there's too much Light in your heart. Without the Darkness...you're nothing."
  • Author
"You expect to believe in your lies?" Sora asked, voice strained as he tried to not only keep Vanitas's blade out of his face but also somehow hit him. He had given into the Darkness before. Yeah, he had been stronger for a little while, but in the end, the Light was what kept him going. It was what he fought for, and that gave him more strength then the Darkness ever could.
"Hmph," Vanitas grunted, wanting to shake his head at the boy. "As if they were lies. You know you could be stronger with the Darkness." He pushed down a little harder on Sora's blade. "But, because you've chosen to go against me, I'll have to kill you. It's what beings of Darkness do."
  • Author
Sora felt himself give under the pressure a little bit, but he didn't collapse. "That's all you do is kill," he spat. "What kind of a life is that, only taking away from others. It's not right!" He fought to protect people from villains like this; there was no way he would ever give into the Darkness again.
"I'm not the only one who kills," Vanitas pointed out darkly. "You do as well." What, with taking out the Heartless and Nobodies, and even people like Vanitas, Sora was a killer. He was just unwilling to accept it.
  • Author
"I protect the things that matter," Sora said, still pressing against Vanitas's Keyblade. Did that involve killing? ...Sometimes. But a lot more deaths would have resulted if he ever allowed a person of evil intent to live.
"Like what? That precious redhead of yours?" Vanitas said, only to laugh at what Sora said. "That weak little thing. If you hadn't jumped in, I could have snapped her like a twig." It would have been like breaking a toothpick, the evil boy thought wickedly.
  • Author
Her body is weak, but her heart is strong, Sora thought, grinding his teeth at how Vanitas brought Kairi into this. But he wouldn't speak of her; it would only encourage Vanitas. "I fight to protect the Light."
"And let me guess," Vanitas said mockingly. "She's yours. How pathetic." He kept his pressure on Sora's blade, not letting up despite his chat. "You people of the Light are nothing but fools."
  • Author
"You're the fool," Sora spat, his blade starting to tremble again under Vanitas's pressure. "The Darkness blinds you. Nothing matters when you're there. Nothing but your own selfish motives." Sora would know, though he wasn't a completely hopeless case when he was in the Darkness.
"Good call," the Dark boy praised lowly, his tone smart with Sora. "Why else would I be doing this? Certainly not for the old man. He'll lose his life in only a short time." Xehanort took Terra's body for a reason, and now that he didn't have it, well, Vanitas knew that he would pass soon. And that was actually okay with him; he never really followed the man's orders anyway.
  • Author
"Then why not turn against him now?" Sora asked, grunted slightly at the end of his sentence. Vanitas surely knew Xehanort wouldn't go down with a fight; maybe he could help Sora and his friends take him down. But of course, that would leave Vanitas on his own against six Keybladers, and he wouldn't be for that.
Vanitas tilted his head back in wicked laughter, though his strength didn't lessen. After a few seconds, he looked back down at Sora through his mask. "You Guardians of Light really are fools. As if I, someone of Pure Darkness, would ever take your side," he said, humor evident in his tone. "I'm not stupid, you idiot."
  • Author
"Well, it was worth a shot," Sora said, grimacing slightly behind the mask. He had figured Vanitas wouldn't be for the idea, but he knew better than to try and understand what went through the villain's head. He was insane, and blinded by power. And Darkness.
Vanitas smiled evilly behind his mask, pressing even harder now that the conversation took a turn towards the end. And that was just what would happen with Sora's life: it would be put to an end.
  • Author
As soon as the pressure increased, Sora knew that he couldn't handle it anymore. His hand under the tip of the Keyblade fell down to the ground, the tip of the weapon piercing the ground by that hand. He managed to keep a grip on the hilt, but that wasn't doing him any good since Vanitas had him pinned and he was down to one knee again.
