A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku's hold on her hand loosened, and he turned his head to look at her. "Light?" he said, his tone holding disbelief and question. She wouldn't...

Light looked down towards the ground, only nodding faintly to Riku to confirm what these men were saying. She was responsible. Why wouldn't Riku expect that? She was a villain working under Maleficent; thievery wasn't all that she did. But now she wondered if Riku would finally hate her for what she did...

Maleficent only smirked in satisfaction. "Such an awful sight, the hurt on the boy's face," she said, though she was telling lies; she was quite pleased to see him so vulnerable. "It seems that his heart is breaking, and thus the long for such an unfaithful girl shall be broken."

 

Jafar only lifted an eyebrow. "Pathetic street rat," he spat with distaste. "Never the wisest of those around him." He saw Riku glare at him, but the hurt was still there. It was quite pleasing to the eye.

"Tough luck, kid," Hades said. "Might I recommend that you let go of the girl so we can get going? It'd be a shame if this turned ugly." Of course, Hades wouldn't mind it, since Riku would obviously lose, but he'd rather help Maleficent collect Lightning and then get back to more scheming.

 

Light looked up at Riku, her grip on his arm loosening. He was hurt...She felt terrible because of it, too. Would he do as Hades said and make--or allow--her to go with Maleficent? Would he finally give up on her?

Riku felt Lightning loosen her hold, but he didn't respond. His grasp instead tightened on his Keyblade. He couldn't... He couldn't let them take her. Even if she had betrayed everyone by bringing the villains back, she did it against her own free will. It wasn't her fault...

"Make your decision quick, me boy," Captain Barbossa said to Riku. "If you won't appreciate this fine beauty, then I will take her in myself. She'd be very...pleasurable company," he said with a knowing smile, laughing when he saw Lightning tighten her grip on Riku again despite how she betrayed him.

Riku's grip tightened so much on his Keyblade that it shook, his knuckles turning white. He ground his teeth together and pointed his blade at Barbossa in silence. Freeze, he called silently.

Barbossa saw the ice coming at him, and he couldn't deflect it. He cried out and stumbled back, glaring at Riku once he was composed. That scurvy dog! He would pay for that.

"Perhaps you should take the time to cool off," Riku said with a frown, keeping his blade pointed at the captain. "You're in over your head." He wasn't letting her go...Lightning wasn't leaving.

"I'm in over my head?" Captain Barbossa asked with a laugh. "You're facing five enemies right now, and one of them is right beside ya. You don't stand a chance against us, boy." Lightning would most likely kill him, if Maleficent gave the order.

Riku looked over the villains before him, a disgusted look on his face. "Have you forgotten?" he asked them all lowly. "I've dealt with all you losers before. I'm not scared of you, nor will I ever be." His grasp on Lightning's hand tightened. "After all, you got beat by a bunch of kids. 'Street rats', 'wonderboys', 'Keyblade brats,' 'imbeciles'," he continued, looking at each of them with every name. "I may not be Sora, but like him, I believe you all deserve the same fate. Death."

"Hmph," Hades said, though he was starting to get angry at Riku. "You're not Sora, and you're not wonderboy, so you don't stand a chance against us. Give it up, kid." Four--or five--against one was not in Riku's favor. His confidence was strong, but the kid himself wasn't strong enough to defeat them.

Riku smirked at Hades, shaking his head. "And lose to a lowlife like you?" he said. "I don't think so." He wasn't going to lose. He refused that kind of outcome. He was going to protect Lightning at all costs, even if things weren't in his favor.

"Enough of this meaningless babble," Captain Barbossa said, furrowing his eyebrows as he looked from Riku to Maleficent. It was time to start this fight and take what they came here for. Maleficent would owe him for his help, so perhaps he could talk her into letting him borrow Lightning one night.

"You are right, Barbossa," Maleficent agreed with a small nod. She then turned her attention to the soldier. "Lightning, take hold of your weapon. Your assistance is required." She would not go about this without the help of her super soldier.

Lightning looked over at Maleficent, surprised at the order. They didn't need her help; it was four against one! And besides, she didn't want to fight Riku..."No," she said, refusing one of Maleficent's orders for the first time in weeks. She wouldn't hurt Riku.

Maleficent blinked in surprise, but anger soon replaced it. Her hold on her staff tightened, and she took a step forward. "Excuse me?" she said tightly, her voice higher in rage. Lightning did not just deny her order.

Lightning felt afraid, hearing the anger in her master's voice. But she wouldn't back down from this point; she'd stand up for herself, and for Riku. "I...I won't hurt him," she said. Riku was her friend, and despite her thoughts earlier, she could tell he cared now. And not just because she was Ven's sister.

Riku squeezed Lightning's hand at her words, though he didn't take his eyes off of Maleficent. He could sense her Darkness grow, which meant she was fuming; that could be easily seen.

 

Maleficent's staff glowed as she grew more engraged, the witch close to summoning a spell. "You dare defy me!?" she shrieked. "You useless girl! You will regret the day you defied the mistress of all evil!" She lifted her hands into the air, the clouds suddenly coming together and turning gray. A loud boom of thunder resounded throughout the island, lightning briefly flashing in the sky.

 

"You've made a grave mistake," Jafar said, glancing from the sky to the pair only a few yards away. "Now, you must pay the price."

Light hugged Riku's arm in fear, looking up to see the bolt of lightning. She heard what Jafar had to say, and she also heard Hades snicker, but she was more afraid of Maleficent. She knew something bad would happen if she defied Maleficent...This was really bad, considering that there was no way Riku could win this fight. Even if she fought too, which Riku said she wouldn't have to do, they still wouldn't win.

Aqua flew through the portal first, and what she saw had her eyes widening behind her armor. A gasp left her lips as she flew over the water of Destiny Islands. Not too far off, she saw six figures, four of them villains and the other two her friends. Maleficent was here!

Sora came through the portal right after Aqua, and he noticed what she was looking at. Riku and Lightning were surrounded. He summoned a Keyblade into his grasp while he still had his glider and chucked it, knocking back Hades when he tried to take a swing at Lightning.

 

Hades stumbled back when he was struck by a Keyblade, seeing it boomerang back around and nearly knock down Barbossa before it returned to its master. Sora!? he thought in fury.

Riku recognized the Keyblade, his eyes trailing it as it went back to the source. "Sora," he breathed. Thank goodness. Riku didn't have much time to celebrate, though. Jafar used his magical powers to send a beam his way, which burned on contact. Riku grunted and called to his shield immediately, which managed to block the rest of the attack.

Ven jumped off his glider when it was close to shore and summoned it away, his weapon appearing in his grasp. He cried out and landed in the sand, swinging his Keyblade at Maleficent immediately. That witch played them, coming here while they all went after her. She'd pay.

 

Sora went after Hades to give Riku some space, trusting that his other friends would go after other enemies. It was seven against four, if Lightning decided to fight. Even if she didn't, the Keyblade wielders had an advantage.

Roxas heard Maleficent cry out, but he went after Barbossa. Using his glider, he spun it around quickly, swinging it to strike the pirate in the back. It was easy to tell that he was mad; they'd been tricked, and nobody was happy about it.
