Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra joined Ven's battle with Maleficent after seeing Roxas land a hit on Barbossa, knowing that he'd need some help. Only Jafar was left without an enemy, but he assumed that Lightning and Riku could handle him or Aqua could fight him. While Terra would have liked to fight beside her, he knew he needed to help Ven, since he had the hardest foe.

Aqua assisted Roxas in fighting Barbossa, casting Fire on him as soon as her Keyblade was back in her grasp. She ignored a boom of thunder, knowing that the weather would have to wait. They couldn't stop the fight now.

Riku released Lightning's hand, sprinting for Jafar. He shot Dark Aura at him as a diversion before swinging at him, seeing that it worked. He was satisfied with the man's cry of pain, and he only swung again to deal another blow.

Lightning didn't know what to do once Riku left her alone, the young woman standing in the middle of four battles. She looked up towards the sky and gasped when she saw the lightning bolt, though Hades used it as an opportunity to come at her.

Hades, burning bright red, ran forward, swiping at Lightning. He was pleased to hear the young woman cry out in pain, though Sora then sneaked up behind him and launched him sky-high so he couldn't do it again. Meddling brat!

Riku glanced out of the corner of his eye when he heard Lightning cry out in pain, but Jafar used that to his advantage. He used his staff to swipe at the boy, hitting him in the head. Things began to spot all around him, but Riku lifted his Keyblade in time to block another hit.

Sora stopped by Lightning, looking at her and speaking once he caught her breath. "You don't have to fight," he told her. "Just stay with me and defend yourself." He'd protect her, since Riku was busy. He saw Lightning nod slightly in understanding, but then he saw Hades coming back down. "Move!" he ordered, shoving Lightning out of the way and blocking the attack with his Keyblade.
Aqua watched Roxas get hurt by one of Barbossa's attacks, and she pointed her Keyblade toward the sky. "Roxas!" she cried, casting a shield around him so he couldn't be injured by the bullets anymore. Rain started to fall as the storm above continued, but she ran toward Barbossa to attack anyway.

Eventually, Hades moved on to pick on Aqua and Roxas, and Barbossa and Jafar ganged up on Sora and Lightning. Riku was fighting Maleficent along with Terra and Ven since they needed some help, so Sora was basically taking on two people at once. Lightning still was hardly fighting, and though he didn't understand why that was, he didn't pressure her. Whenever there was a break in the battle, he reminded her to protect herself the best that she could.

"Get back, you fools!" Maleficent shrieked, swinging her staff at them to get them away from her. Three wretched Keybladers? Disgusting!

Riku heard Aqua cast a Blizzard spell on Hades just before he ran and jumped at Maleficent, though her staff managed to block his swing. He ground his teeth together and cried out, swinging again and again, managing to hit at least once. But besides the techniques he was planning to take her down, in the back of his mind he worried about Lightning. Was she alright?

Sora stepped in front of Lightning, protecting her from an attack from Barbossa. This battle was not in his favor...he was hurt and tired despite how Lightning cast Cure spells on him, and two against one really wasn't a good deal. He deflected blocked Barbossa's sword again, grunting at the force behind it and not paying attention to Jafar.
Jafar saw an opening in Sora's tactics, noticing the boy's vulnerability while he handled Barbossa. The man sent the same beam of hot energy to the Keyblade warrior's back, hoping to stun him so he could make his next move.

Sora was unprepared for the beam that hit his back, a cry of pain leaving his lips. The pressure against Barbossa's blade decreased, and the man just jumped back to allow Jafar to perform his next move while he went for Lightning.
Jafar moved in, turning his staff in his grasp and holding onto it with both hands. With it held horizontally, he put it over Sora's head and pulled back, putting it against Sora's neck with a large amount of pressure.

Lightning gasped when Sora was pulled back by Jafar, and though he tried to cry out, he couldn't because the staff blocked his airway. "Sora!" she cried, Barbossa taking advantage of her weakness then. He grabbed her hair and pulled her away by it, making her scream in pain. But then he released her hair and pulled her close to him, an arm around her neck and a gun against her temple.

"Not a move, lass," Barbossa said in her ear. "I'd rather not kill ye; you may prove to be worth something to me." He chuckled menacingly in her ear, making the girl gasp.

Riku turned around at the screams, his eyes widening. "Sora!" he cried. "Light!" He cried out and fell to his hands and knees, however, already too aware that it was Maleficent that caused him pain; her smell was strong, and so was the spell that momentarily paralyzed him.

"Enough!" Maleficent hollered above all of the noise. It was time to carry out their newest plan. Hostages were always her favorite part of evil deeds.

Upon seeing the spell Maleficent cast on Riku, Terra grabbed Ven's arm and pulled him back after he started running in, not wanting him to have a similar fate. Ven's attention soon went elsewhere, though, a gasp leaving the boy's lips when he saw the position that his best friend and his sister were in.

Roxas gritted his teeth, staying in his stance as he gripped his Keyblades. His gaze darted from Hades to the others repeatedly, the boy still on his guard. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Aqua was the same. What was going on?

Maleficent glanced over at Terra and Ventus before she "hmphed", walking forward to approach the boy she just paralyzed. "My dearest Riku," she said, lowering herself to stroke the boy's chin. He grunted in disgust and jerked his head away, that being the only body part he could move. Maleficent stood up straight again and motioned to her left and to her right, at Barbossa and Jafar and their hostages. "As you can see, we have ourselves a small predicament," she continued.

"Shut your trap," Riku snapped, grunting a little as he tried moving; the spell only caused him to tense with pain. Predicament? This was a trap more than anything.

Sora grunted, summoning his Keyblade away and lifting both his hands to the staff. He tried to push it away from his throat, needing to break free and be able to breathe. He noticed a few feet away that Barbossa had Lightning as her hostage, and that only made him grind his teeth in fury. He failed to protect her.

Maleficent wagged a finger at Riku. "Ah, ah, ah," she tsked, seeing him glare up at her. "Such movement is unavailable to you in this state. Do not waste your energy." She turned to look over at the Keyblade brat Jafar held, briefly waving to him to give the boy a small amount of oxygen; they couldn't have him dying on them so soon. She then let her sight fall on Barbossa, seeing her super soldier tense with fear. "After all," Maleficent continued, speaking to Riku, "you'll be needing it for something much more important."

Riku looked up at Maleficent, having no other choice. "And what's that?" he asked her stiffly. What was more important than killing her and saving his friends? Nothing.

"Life and death," Maleficent said with a dark smile, glancing over her shoulder at Riku. She saw his brows come together in curiosity, but she did nothing to answer his unspoken question. Instead, she looked to her two comrades and captors. This would work well.

Barbossa smirked at Riku on the ground, seeing him paralyzed by a spell. "It would be too burdensome to carry away two captives from this situation," he said, glancing down at Lightning before he looked back to Riku. "So, we'll be leavin' one of them behind, to lighten our load." And Riku would choose which one.

Riku grunted in shock. "What?" he said, the word automatically leaving his lips. No!

"That's right, my boy," Jafar said, keeping his staff to the struggling Sora's throat. "You shall be the one to decide who stays and who goes." His friends' fates were in his hands.

Riku shook his head, grunting as he tried to move again, but it was no use; he was stuck. "You're crazy!" he hollered, blinking through the sprinkling rain that fell on his head.

Maleficent only chuckled. "Maybe so," she replied calmly, her voice as smooth as silk. "But that's what makes this so entertaining to us who have no care in the world of which you choose. So, who will it be?" She turned, facing the boy slightly, though the others were still within her sight. "Shall it be your childhood friend who stays behind? Or will you spare the life of the one your heart longs for?"

Riku lowered his head, squeezing his eyes shut in anger. "...I can't choose that," he said weakly. He couldn't decide who deserved to stay or go. He cared too much for them both, for Sora and Lightning.

Sora tried escaping out of Jafar's grasp again, and if Riku was looking up, he would have done a gesture to let him know who should stay. He had to choose Lightning; she wouldn't fight back against these people. Sora could and would fight back, so he'd be fine. "Riku," he managed to call despite how he could hardly breathe.
Riku lifted his head, looking over toward his best friend. His eyes were wide with worry and fear, not knowing what to do. He couldn't sell out his best friend, but he couldn't do the same to Lightning either. This was too much.

Sora jerked his head to Lightning, not speaking because he was running out of air. It's alright, he wanted to say. Save her. I'll be fine. They'd try to kill him, sure, but he at least stood a chance against them. He saw Lightning defeated spirit and knew that she wouldn't last a day with these villains.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed, his lips parting as he looked to Lightning. Sora...wanted him to choose her? Of course, he thought, lowering his head in defeat. I should have known. "...Lightning," he said through the rain, staring down at the sand. "I choose Lightning."

"Ouch," Hades said, looking to Sora and laughing. "That betrayal's gotta hurt, kid. He just dumped you to the curve for the new girl on the block." He was amused by Riku's decision, even if the teen probably decided that Sora could defend himself for a while.

"What a shame," Captain Barbossa said, keeping the gun to Lightning's head as he lifted his other hand and lightly stroked her cheek. "I was looking forward to some company." He smirked at her, catching her turn her head away and squeeze her eyes shut to avoid looking at him or feeling his hand on her cheek.

No, Riku, Lightning wanted to say, eyes squeezed shut in disgust and fear of Barbossa. Don't you dare sacrifice your best friend for me! Sora was strong, but he couldn't handle whatever these four had in store for him.
