A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Maleficent smiled darkly at the decision the boy next to her made. "I see who is of more importance to you," she said, looking from Riku to Sora and then finally to Lightning. "...Too bad your choice has done you no good."

 

Riku lifted his head, eyes wide in alarm. "What did you say?" he demanded, voice low and threatening. What was that supposed to mean?

 

"Riku," Maleficent replied, looking to him with questioning eyes. "Have you forgotten who you are talking to? Why, I'm never one for a fair trade, you must realize that." She then smirked. "Which is why I will be using your choice to govern a decision of my own."

Terra stood by in stunned silence, not knowing what to say. Ven was silent as well, and glancing over at Sora and Lightning, he could tell they were going to stay quiet too. Sora looked alarmed, and Lightning looked afraid. What was Maleficent going to do?

Maleficent opened her hand and summoned a portal near Barbossa. "Jafar," she said, glancing at him. "Release the imbecile. My decision's been made." She then motioned to Barbossa to take Lightning through the portal. She was their hostage.

 

Riku's eyes widened. "What!?" he cried, his gaze darting from his best friend to Light. Maleficent couldn't be... She couldn't be taking Light instead!

Sora's eyes widened when Barbossa started dragging Lightning back, but his attention immediately went back to the darkest villain here. "Maleficent, you witch!" he roared despite his breathlessness. "Take me instead!" He was supposed to be their hostage now!

Maleficent nodded to Jafar and the vizier released his hostage immediately. She then casted the same spell on Sora that she did to his best friend. "Silence!" she ordered. "I do not take orders from you!"

Sora fell down to his hands and knees, fingers digging into the sand to catch himself from falling on his face. He grunted in pain, already hurting from his battle earlier. "Maleficent, you're a coward," he spat lowly, lifting his head to glare up at her. He didn't care if she attacked him again; he was furious with her.

"Think what you wish," Maleficent spat, starting toward the portal that Jafar was already near. "Your opinion has no permanent effect on me."

 

Riku ground his teeth together, looking to Maleficent before his eyes found the portal, and Lightning. He wanted nothing more than to chase after Barbossa and the others, but he couldn't move!

Ven tore free of Terra's grasp and ran forward, his speed helping him reach Maleficent in just a second. A battle cry left his lips when he swung at her, wanting her to release his two friends and his sister. She wasn't getting out of here that easily.

Maleficent turned slightly at the cry, but then she released one of her own, stumbling back a few steps. She lifted a hand to her shoulder, gasping for breath. "You idiot!" she shrieked, glaring at Ventus. What did the brat plan to gain out of such a hit?

"Let my sister go!" Ven said, swinging his weapon at Maleficent again without hesitation. He would fight her until she ordered Barbossa to release her or step into the battle. And maybe if he distracted her, the spell she put on Riku and Sora would fade so they could fight again.

Riku heard Maleficent cry out again in pain, the boy seeing her get struck by Ven's blade. But at the same time, he felt the spell that was putting so much pressure on him lift a little. It was...easing up with every hit Maleficent received. "Ven!" Riku cried, encouraging him to keep swinging. He couldn't let up!

Ven kept hitting Maleficent, performing a combo. He noticed the portal she summon vanish, keeping Barbossa and Lightning here. While he was grateful for that, he could also tell by Riku's cry that the spell was lessening, as he predicted. That was partially why he kept attacking without mercy or slowing down.

Riku grunted, able to move his leg as Maleficent's shrieks could be heard. That's it! he thought with excitement. It was working! With every strike, the spell faded more and more.

Sora looked up to see Terra go to help Ven, and he felt the spell start lightening on him too. But since the spell was more fresh for him, it would take longer to wear off. Well, it didn't really matter, just as long as Riku could save Lightning.

Riku grunted fighting the spell even more whenever it lightened. He pushed himself to his feet, one hand on his knee as he remained hunched over. He lifted his head to glare at Barbossa, who was still holding Lightning. He would go after him...

"Jafar," Hades said to his comrade. "Let's finish off these brats while we still can." He started running forward, going for Riku. He trusted that Jafar could kill Sora in a matter of seconds, since the spell was stronger on the younger boy.

Aqua saw Hades going for Riku, whose back was unprotected. She ran forward immediately, sliding in the sand to be in Hades' way. "Not so fast!" she cried, then firing a Thunder spell. This fight wasn't over!

 

Jafar approached Sora with an ugly snarl on his lips, staring down at him. "Poor street rat," he said. "You never had a chance." He lifted his staff to cast a spell, but was immediately hit with a weapon, causing him to stumble back.

 

"Back off!" Roxas cried, running and leaping over Sora to spin in the air. He then brought his other Keyblade down on Jafar, causing the man to cry out in pain. He wasn't getting anywhere near Sora!

Sora grunted, curling his hands in the sand more when Roxas saved his life. He would have said thanks, but he knew it would distract him, so he focused on breaking through the spell. He lowered his head and squeezed his eyes shut, focusing.

Riku summoned his Keyblade to his hand, glancing behind him at Aqua. Thanks, he thought, then focusing forward. He ran toward Barbossa, gripping his Keyblade tightly. "You're mine!"

Barbossa noticed the furious teen running over to him, but he wouldn't let him win that easily. He kept an arm around Lightning's torso but pulled the gun away from her temple, shooting at Riku. How was this kid going to do this, when the girl he loved was practically Barbossa's shield?

Riku's eyes widened, and he lifted his blade, blocking the bullet. It ricocheted off Way to Dawn and soared toward the sky. "You coward!" he cried, seeing that he had no way to harm Barbossa without doing the same to Lighting, which he couldn't possibly do.

"You really are letting your emotions get in the way, boy," Barbossa said with a wicked smirk, ignoring the rainfall that had him drenched by now. "Take a swing at me. I dare ya." He wouldn't get hurt, much, but Lightning certainly would. He wouldn't mind seeing that after she refused to help them earlier.

Riku gritted his teeth, snarling at Barbossa before his infuriated gaze fell on Lightning. She was so vulnerable, the man's shield. Riku couldn't take the risk of hurting her. He blinked past the raindrops that fell against his face, making his hair stick to his forehead. "I don't take dares. They've never really been my thing," he replied coolly, though he gripped Way to Dawn tightly, knuckles white.

"Pity," Barbossa said. "I was hoping to have a bit more fun with you, lad. But now I'll have all the fun with this wench." He pulled Lightning closer to himself than she already was, smirking at her and breathing in her ear. She was beautiful.

Riku took a step forward at that. "Hey!" he cried in outrage, swinging his blade. "Knock it off!" It was...sickening to see him touch her like that. Nobody touched a girl like that, especially her!
