Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku ran a few steps more, and using the momentum, he pulled his arm back before chucking the knife at Maleficent, a grunt leaving him. The knife twirled vertically through the air until it hit its target: the witch's heart.

Maleficent gasped, her eyes widening at the pain that suddently filled her chest. She lifted her hand, gripping the knife as she looked down at it. She stumbled back a step. "No..." she gasped. This wasn't happening!

Light gasped in shock, stepping forward slightly. It seemed as if a hush fell all over the battlefield, but Lightning just noticed the death of her master. But she was her master no more. Now...she was dying. Because of Riku.

"You...you half-wit Keyblade brat!" Maleficent hissed, looking up at Riku, who was standing there, just watching her from a few yards away. "How could you do this? To the mistress of all evil!"

Riku only glared at Maleficent, the boy peering past the rain. "It's simple," he replied, hollering over the storm. "I don't cooperate with Darkness, nor do I let it destroy my life, friends included. Your fate's been decided, and I've just delivered the message." He frowned, furrowing his eyebrows as he glared at the person who managed to ruin his life in more ways than one. "Go to Hell!"

Light's mouth dropped open at that, her sword loosely in her grasp. Did Riku seriously just say that?! To Maleficent?! Well, she supposed it wasn't that big of a deal now, since she was dying. She couldn't believe it...She was free.
Maleficent's eyes widened at the words, but she only knew they were true. After all she'd done, that was the place she belonged. She took another step back, her staff disappearing as she released it. My hands...she thought in fear, seeing them starting to fade away. She...was dying. "No!" Maleficent cried, but it was too late. Her body faded into Darkness, the witch disappearing, for good this time.

Sora glanced over at Hades out of the corner of his eye, seeing him disappear while he was distracted. We'll worry about him another day, Sora decided. The fact that Maleficent was gone was a big enough deed for one day.

Roxas had been so distracted by what was happening between Maleficent and Riku that he failed to notice Jafar disappear in a portal. He took a step forward, looking at the spot where Maleficent had just been standing. She...was gone.

Riku had his hands balled into tight fists at his sides, the boy glaring at the air that was now empty of Maleficent's presence. His blood was still boiling at what almost happened with Lightning again, what Maleficent almost caused, and what she had caused in his past. And now she was dead. Good riddance.

Lightning noticed that everyone was silent after what Riku said, and she wasn't about to break that silence. She only put her sword away in its case and stepped forward a step, ignoring how wet and cold she was from the rain that was still falling.
Riku felt everyone's eyes on him, but he only lowered his head, closing his eyes. His jaw flexed at the anger that still flowed through his veins, the boy knowing that he wouldn't get over this situation quickly. He let the rain fall on him without a care, his thoughts elsewhere.

Sora noticed Ven walk away from the rest of the group and go to Lightning, silently hugging the sister who he almost lost again. That won't happen again, he thought. Maleficent was gone, and so was the threat against Lightning. She was safe again because of Ven stepping up and stopping Maleficent, and then Riku killing her. The two of them may not have gotten along lately, but they were good at protecting Lightning. Together.
Aqua dismissed her Keyblade, approaching Terra. She had let her armor fade away upon arrival, so now she was soaking wet as well. She wouldn't worry about them all getting sick from such weather; things were more important than that, like survival and freedom.

Terra glanced away from Ven and Lightning, seeing that both of them were alright. He shifted his gaze to Sora then, remembering how beat up he seemed earlier. "You okay, Sora?"

Sora hummed slightly, looking up at Terra at the question. "Yeah, I'm fine," he said with a nod. Of course he was tired and a little sore, but after he was freed from Jafar and Maleficent's spell, Lightning cured him. So he was good for the most part.

Aqua stopped next to Terra, putting a hand on his arm. "How about you?" she asked. She was relieved Sora was alright, but she hoped the boy she held such strong feelings for was as well.

Terra looked down at Aqua, nodding slightly to her. "I'm alright. You?" She looked alright to him, but of course he was going to ask anyway. He couldn't get her off his mind that entire battle because he was so worried.
"Mm," Aqua hummed with a small nod, lowering her gaze due to the rain. Her eyes found Riku then, and she could see that he looked...different. She knew he was upset before, but he didn't look relieved that Maleficent was gone. At least not on the surface.

After checking with Roxas to see if he was alright, Sora had one more friend he wanted to check on. He stepped forward, stopping by his older best friend. "Riku?" he said softly in question. He looked upset.
"Yeah?" Riku said quietly, keeping his eyes closed. He felt the rain dripping from his hair and going down his back, as well as his face, but he didn't care. He was just so happy Maleficent was gone. The wicked witch would never mess with him again...or his friends.

"What're you thinking about?" Sora asked, bending slightly to get a better view of Riku's face. He should have been ecstatic that Maleficent was gone, but he wasn't. Granted, Riku was never one to get super excited, but still, this called for celebration.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed a little at the question, and he opened his eyes to stare at the ground. He saw Sora out of the corner of his eye, and he lifted his head a little to look at him. "How...little Darkness there will be, now that she's gone," he answered lowly. Everything would be...better.

Sora hummed, nodding faintly. "It's good news," he stated softly. "Lightning's back home again now." He knew that was surely on Riku's mind, since he obviously cared about her a lot.
Riku nodded, his expression lightening a little at that. "Mm," he hummed. "She's safe." And she had her family. That was important. He just wanted what was best for her.

"Why don't you go talk to her?" Sora suggested. "After that, Ven'll probably be willing to give you more time with her." After all, Riku just killed the person who kept Lightning captive so long. Surely Ven was thankful for that.
Riku smiled a little, but shook his head. He looked over toward the siblings, his eyes lingering on the oldest one. "I'll let her be," he replied. "She needs to be with Ven." Until then, he'd hold onto her knife, which was in the wet sand a few yards away. He'd give it back when the time came.

"...She needs you too, Riku," Sora said, glancing at Lightning before he looked back to his best friend. "...I've seen the way she looks at you. You mean a lot to her." Maybe he even meant something to her romantically. But he felt like if he said that, he would be out of line.
Riku looked back to Sora at that, though he lowered his gaze to the ground a second after. He lifted a hand and shoved some of his wet hair out of his face, walking over and grabbing the knife on the ground. He flipped it shut and placed it back in his pocket before looking back to Sora. "Let's get out of the rain," Riku suggested, jerking his head toward the houses. He tried not to let what Sora said affect him more than it should, but he wasn't sure that showed on his face.
