Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Right," Sora said calmly, a faint smile tugging at his lips. Seriously, Riku? he wanted to say. I may miss the obvious sometimes, but I can see through most of the charades you pull. Obviously he cared about her too, but Sora would cut him some slack and not say it aloud.
Riku glanced back at Lightning and Ven briefly before he started through the downpour, knowing that the closest house was Kairi and Namine's. Maybe they could crash there until the storm blew over.

Terra looked back down at Aqua while Sora followed Riku, his eyes on her. "What're we gonna do?" he asked her. They could go to their temporary home and relax for a while, if she wanted.
"Well," Aqua said, glancing up at Terra briefly before looking at their soaking wet clothes. "Perhaps we should get changed." She wasn't exactly comfortable, and they needed to dry off.

Terra nodded slightly in agreement, looking over to Ven by Lightning. "Ven, you coming?" he called. He should get changed too. He wasn't sure what Lightning would do, though. He was sure that her spare clothes from a few weeks ago were still at Riku's.

Ven hummed, nodding slightly. He looked back to his sister, who wordlessly gave him permission to go, and he ran to his other friends, soaking wet from the rain.

Riku walked through the rain, blinking every few seconds due to how it hit his face. He kept his head bowed to help prevent that, but it really was no use.

Lightning turned and started walking the opposite direction of everyone else, wondering why Riku wasn't going home to get changed. Well, she would be alright. She didn't want to be alone, but she didn't want to stalk Riku, either. She'd be alone for a little while.
Roxas saw everyone separating, Lightning going one way while Riku and Sora went the other. But...Lightning wasn't going in the direction Terra, Aqua, and Ven did. The boy pushed off the damp sand, running through the rain at a light jog to catch up to Sora and Riku.

Light kept her gaze lowered so that rain didn't get in her eyes, her arms folded over her chest so that she could get a little warmer. Perhaps she'd get a warm shower once she got home. Home...It was here in Destiny Islands now. Did she still live with Riku, or would she move in with Terra, Aqua, and Ven? She'd have to ask him later.

Roxas caught up with the two soon enough, barely seeing them through the thick sheet of rain. "Hey!" he called, seeing Riku stop and turn around. When he was close enough, he hollered over some thunder. "Lightning's headed back to your house, Riku. I think she went to get some dry clothes."

Riku furrowed his eyebrows a little more at that. "Right, got it," he said. He then looked to Sora. "Catch up with you later." He had to go see how Light was doing, since he hadn't checked up on her anyway. He took off then, jogging past Roxas so he could go find Light.

Sora nodded faintly and waved to Riku before he ran off, and though he was partially amused by his friend's behavior, he didn't show it on the outside. Riku was jogging to go to Lightning? He really did like her.
Riku left the beach, but he didn't find Lightning anywhere. He supposed she was near home already, so he kept going, jogging up a small hill as he made his way through the rain.

Lightning made it home a few minutes later, and as soon as she got in, she changed into sweatpants and a T-shirt. She was currently in the bathroom wringing out her wet hair with a towel, wanting to get as dry as she could so that she'd warm up. She was cold, but she didn't feel like hopping in the shower.
Riku reached his house and walking in the front door, seeing and hearing nothing. "Light?" he called, shutting the door behind him, silencing the roar of the rain outside. Was she even here?

Light perked up at the sound of her name, hanging up the towel and ruffling her hair slightly so it naturally settled back in it's place. "Yeah?" she called, starting out of the bathroom to go towards the voice.
Riku's eyes darted to the direction the voice came from, relieved to find out Light at least made it home. He didn't say anything, kicking his shoes off instead, then wiping his hair out of his face. He hoped she was okay...

Light came out of her bedroom and walked down the hall, starting down the stairs a few seconds later. She entered the room that Riku was in and gave him a confused look, wondering why he called and then didn't say anything else.
Riku looked back up, and his eyes fell on Lightning instantly. He saw that she was dressed in new clothes, like Roxas had predicted. "...You okay?" he asked, feeling some water drip down the back of his neck.

Light felt her eyes soften at Riku's concern, worry that wasn't necessary. She hummed and nodded behind her wet bangs, seeing that Riku was much wetter than she was. But he just came out of the rain, so of course he was wet.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly, nodding. His gaze lowered to the ground, his eyes boring into the carpet. "Good." That was more than "good", but he couldn't really find anything else to say. He felt...different.

"Are you okay?" Light asked softly, stepping forward to be closer to Riku. He looked...odd. She didn't know how to describe his facial expression, or how he held himself.
Riku glanced up at Lightning, but then his eyes went to his wound in his left upper arm. "Uh, well," he said, lifting his hand to scratch his cheek. "Apart from being soaking wet, cold, and having a bullet in my arm...I'm alright." He smiled weakly, but it faded just as fast. How was he supposed to get that bullet out anyway? The Cure spell hadn't worked to remove it.
  • Author
Light's eyebrows furrowed, and she stepped over to look at the arm. "It's not in that deep," she said, inspecting the wound. "I can get it out." It really wouldn't be a hard task, just as long as Riku had some tweezers.
Riku nodded a little. That was right... Lightning was a soldier, and she dealt a lot with bullets and guns. She would know how to get it out, which he was actually happy about. He didn't really want a piece of Barbossa, somebody so disgusting and hungry, in him much longer.

"Go put on some dry clothes and grab a pair of tweezers," Lightning said, lifting her gaze back up to Riku in seriousness. She'd get some ice and a trash can and then wait in the living room.
